  1. If we just search people who look like bombers, all the bombers would have to do is dye their hair blonde, put on some nice clothes, and they'd never have to worry about being searched because they don't "look like a bomber". Disguising yourself isn't that hard to elude a racial profile isn't that hard to do.
  2. Don't fuck with Baltar.
  3. "I'd smurf it."
  4. Reading this thread is like visiting San Francisco.
  5. He gave it one *.
  6. I'm glad that Joseph Farah decided to charge people to find this information out via his "Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin" instead of...I don't know...sharing it with the Dept. of Homeland Security. But hey, at least the subscription price for the premium newsletter has been slashed in half and is now available for only $9.95 per month, right?
  7. Nobody here is advocating doing nothing, I'm just explaining why racial profiling is a dumb idea.
  8. I'm not seeing it and I don't want to see it, but I'm morbidly curious enough to want to know the thoughts of anyone who did see it. Here are Roger Ebert's thoughts: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.d...EVIEWS/50725002 I'm not shocked he never saw the TV show, since he'd never seen an episode of "Scooby Doo" either.
  9. My only question is does he use his bionic powers to interrupt guests?
  10. ^Average would be a Toyota Camry.^ For those of knee-jerk conservatives who claim this study is fake just because you don't want your own manhood challenged, I can prove this study is valid. Andrew Sullivan is a strong supporter of the Iraq War, and is gay. George Clooney opposed the war, and gets more pussy than an animal shelter. That's all the proof you need right there.
  11. I've long believed that vehicle size is inversely proportional to penis size. Did I mention I drive a small Toyota?
  12. We need to teach that moon not to mess with...God's America.
  13. I actually hope Forbes runs. I can't wait to hear him claim how the flat tax will cure the common cold. I always liked watching Lamar! Alexander's face during the 1996 debates. You could tell he was thinking "Am I the only sane motherfucker here?" Too bad the guy's campaign got toasted because he didn't know the price of milk. I kind of liked the guy.
  14. I thought "The Train Job" was great, but "Serenity" works far better as an explanation of what's going on. Remember how confusing it was to watch "Out of Gas" before "Serenity" aired? Once again, fuck you, Fox.
  15. Did you even watch the original show? Do you think Cassiopeia was in the cast because of her wonderful acting abilities? Give me a break. Number Six is a "hot blonde" because she was sent to seduce Baltar and use him to take down the colonies' early warning system. It actually works to service the plot. See what I said earlier about shows for kids vs. shows for grown-ups. Spoilers
  16. Oh if that happens, then I'd be so pissed. Pretty much for the sole reason that Ben Parker is the one dead guy in comics left (other than Barry Allen and Jason To...oh wait) who has to stay dead because he means so much more to the character that way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Too bad isn't on that list.
  17. I didn't know steroids could get you high.
  18. Given the shit nature of House of Bendis Masturbating While Typing and Bendis the shithead skullcunt, you expect any less? At least DC is TRYING to make it all rational unlike shithead skullcunt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I told the guy who owns the comic shop I frequent that I didn't want to by any House of M books because they take place outside of continuity and thus wouldn't matter much and were a waste of money. He asked me to write Joe Quesada a letter to that effect. My understanding, though, is that the House of M books are selling well. Thanks knee-jerk X-Men crossover buyers!
  19. And THAT'S going in my user title.
  20. Tricia Helfer plays the humanoid Cylon "Number 6". She's not a shapeshifter, but often appears as a mental projection inside Baltar's mind (where he often gets to have sex with her). The mini-series was 2 parts and aired in December of 2003, and is available on DVD and for rent at most video stores. In the US, the show airs Friday nights on the Sci-Fi Channel (10pm eastern/9pm central). The UK version of the first season is available on DVD through Best Buy, and a new DVD with both the mini-series and all 13 first season episodes will be released September 20.
  21. http://www.nasa.gov/vision/universe/solars...net-072905.html Sadly, I got this link from Scott Keith. A Google search revealed that CNN did an inconclusive article on this back in March, but the story had few details. Another batch of stories appeared late last week, so its now official.
  22. HBK carried HHH in their Summerslam 2002 match since his return, and has done other carry jobs (the biggest that come to mind are RVD, Kane, and Randy Orton) since his return. Angle didn't carry Flair in that match at all, and unless you're directly comparing Angle/Flair to HBK/Flair, that's irrelevant. Angle/Flair had a good story and was fun to watch, but HBK has had far better matches than that since his 2002 return.
  23. I've read the release date is Nov. 15th.
  24. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to drive a small Toyota.
  25. While I would never argue that the Supreme Court should be slaves to the will of the majority, I find it hypocritical that conservatives VEHEMENTLY argue that courts are too anti-democratic, but want the courts to do so many things that contradict the opinions of most people.
