One and ONLY Joe Schmo Season Finale Thread...
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Mik's topic in Television & Film
I said this before and will again, if they do a season 2, the Schmoe has to be in on it. I think 2 hours was a bit long but I really enjoyed the show. I have to admit I teared up a few times. I still think Ralph kind of came off as a tool. Molly, out of character saying that she loved his eyes totally opened the door for him to make a move in real life. Hutch actually seems like a nice guy Brian type in real life. He played his part well. -

I fought this for two seasons. But I have officially changed teams. KIM MUST DIE!!! KIM=STEPHANIE MCMAHON-HELMSLEY Ok, got that out of my system. Excellent first episode. This is the first season I am actually watching as they air. I miss Mason. -
Good stuff. Wasn't sure if was real, which is what I look for in a wrestling match and food reviews.

On another message board, I read that they mentioned on Good Morning America that the FCC had ruled that "Fuck" would now be allowed on primetime tv, as long as it is used as an adjective and not a verb. I haven't found an official story about this online, but the abcnews message board has some people discussing it. I always wondered when this would eventually happen. I always figured a show would test the FCC by saying it and seeing if they could get away with it. I'm sure it will be something like NYPD Blue to be the first network tv show to use it, while The Shield will be the first on basic cable.

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread

I live in California. 7.5 more loooong hours. -
This week's edition of Raw did a 3.4 cable rating, with a five share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is down from last week’s 3.7. Both hours did a 3.4. The highest quarter hour of the show came at 10:00 p.m. and did a 3.7, which was the Shane McMahon segment. The rating dropped from there. 1wrestling.com

So both teams need 1 more person....

Mack is out for like 4-6 weeks so I don't think he'll be back in time. -
I can understand the conflict of interest point you may be trying to bring up, but I haven't heard anyone complain about TNA in any interviews on any sites. Has anyone? TNA doesn't do house shows, so there is no low payoffs. Plus they have medical insurance. What is there to complain about? Actually now that I think about it, wasn't Ron Killings upset with how they were using him? He went from world champ with a cult following to being over, but not really in the limelight. Suprising not many complaints have been heard regarding JJJ and Russo.

The only title I'd want him to hold is the NWA title, just one last time.

I'm feeling like Joe Schmoe and thinking these guys are making this stuff up behind the scenes. This is too hilarious to be real. If not, I'm expecting Shaq to bust out a rape conviction comment at some point.

They said don't miss the first 15 minutes so they must be telling him pretty damn fast or something major will be happening right off the bat. -

Last week on Karen Sisco, they had Xander Berkeley playing some guy who was in witness protection. At the end of the show he goes home to his family, and his wife is played by Sarah Clarke, who also happens to be his real life wife. It was a weird 24 moment. -
Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Nina

Which makes it oh so sweet when his team loses in the World Series.
-
Are Stone Cold and Debra still together? I thought she had left him.
-
Now they're going to have to bring in XPac to defeat him in a hair vs hair match.

Its not like Stephanie opened up one of her gifts and a live snake popped out....

I have a theory, that Vince actually hates wrestling. In its truest sense Vince actually detests professional wrestling and the crowd it attracts- thus his defining WWE as "sports entertainment" and his apparant refusal to allow wrestlers get over with wrestling. EDIT: misread your comments Damnitt, you edited before I could read your misinterpretation, what did you think I said? I missed the part where you said "sports entertainment". I asked why then would he and his family try to be in every skit. But you are right. Wrestling for him is meaningless. Having a McMahon soap opera is all he cares about.

Nah, Scottsman turned him down.

What were some concert events you attended
OldSchoolWrestling replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in Music
I envy you right back since you got to see Lisa Lisa. I just recently started listening to her 80's stuff again. And she had quite the funky mullett in her time. Rob Base and EZ Rock's "It Takes Two" is one of the greatest rap songs of all time. And Stevie Fucking B was the man. He didn't get enough credit for his shit because he was ugly, but the man had some awesome songs. -
As mentioned in a few other threads, he's on vacation this week. Check the general wrestling folder.
