To be honest, I think he's sort of gotten "out of it" in that "fuck everybody" mindframe. Anytime one of his fans start talking shit he usually asks them what the fuck they're on about. Probably what reflects this is some of the weaker tracks off With Teeth (the collector, love is not enough) where it feels like he's writing songs that he thinks his fans want, but he has no real connection in how he feels and what he's writing. I think this'll be an album that'll probably just come out as opposed to having alot of press and build up. A bit like Amnesiac after Kid-A.

I'd say just right. It was the album that put them into the mainstream and is probably their most easily approachable and recognisable album (for the generic mass fanbase). Personally I prefer The Fragile over it, and Broken is probably is my favourite. On a sidenote my NiN tickets for their 3/8 show in brixton academy finally arrived today after me buying them months ago, so I'm happy.

I'm looking forward to this but mostly just shocked he got it out passed mixing. Sure he had all the tracks recorded before x-mas, but I was convinced he'd spend the usual 2-3 years mixing it and getting it right. I think he's realised that he's getting old and doesn't want to be doing this forever (well preforming, I'm sure he'll keep producing).

Man, I saw that in the cinema (saw it for free, so I didn't feel like a total sap) and I actually zone out/ fell asleep at the final battle and woke up with the credits rolling. The only thing that was remotly enjoyable was marking out for Nash being in it.

try turning the graphics down/messing with other settings. I used to get similar problems with games. The game mightent look as good with graphic acceleration turned off or whatever you do, but at least it'll be consistent.

Hagar is only good if you like hair metal of the time (Bon Jovi etc). Roth no question. And 1984 is better than Van Halen I (but personally i've really been digging Women and Children First).

I thought it was a fun movie but it tried to be too "clever" with plot twists. I think if it had just been simply about a hit on a guy and 12 different hitmen kicking the shit out of each other in order to get to the hit on the top floor it would have worked much better. All the preformances are great and the production quality etc is good but I think it just tried too hard for something that could have been easy.

Had JMS recently been writing FF or just for Civil War? I've only really followed it since then. If Black Panther joins I might have to start picking it up though.

Thats idiotic on their part! It was pretty much the only decent Wildstorm title and they've thrown it away. The whole point of it being under a Wildstorm name rather than DC is so they aren't completely linked. Hopefully Image would pick it up. They'd know how to handle it better.
