I hope he's got some ability. He looked pretty good for the couple of spots he had last night but the best thing they could say about him was that he's in a McDonalds commercial. I point this out only because of how much emphasis and importance they put on that. I'm supposed to mark out for this guy because he's been in a commercial.

There's a lot of bad files on Kazaa. I've seen those ones you're describing and also a lot that start out okay then go to complete loud screeching noises. I've got just about everything that interests me so I haven't searched much for an alternative but E-Mule and E-Donkey aren't too bad. The only thing is that you really need an 'always on' connection. Download speeds are normal but it sometimes takes hours, days or weeks to actually start downloading.

It's better than fighting over shampoo. I wouldn't make anything of this, it's just the WWE going after money. They've got a lot of guys who are appealing to that audience so they figured they'd bank it. Now if Randy gets a 10 ft cutout of the magazine and cuts a promo about how it's his proudest accomplishment, then you have to wonder.

I don't think the taboo factor would be that great. For something like the Olson twins it would be huge because everybody knows them (whether you want to or not). But the McMahons aren't that kind of worldwide phenomenon. They're better known outside of wrestling circles than the wrestlers, but not to a huge extent. Still I think that it would be a factor that would nudge Steph into the lead. A headline of 'billionare heiress nude' would sell more copies than 'another big breasted blonde', but it wouldn't be a huge landslide. Also this factor. Entire episodes of Raw and Smackdown would be dedicated to selling the magazine just to stroke the ego. It would have to be the top selling WWE diva spread because the princess would be crushed if it wasn't.

Things in wrestling that were never explained
evilhomer replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
How about Raven's masterpiece. He was moving along copying the storyline from 'Seven' then just dropped it. At least they gave an explanation, dropping it to get an opportunity on Raw, but what was the whole point. It was his life's work, his life's goal, his destiny, then... Meh, I'd rather be on Raw. It was like it was somthing that was too smart for the writers so they got scared and killed it. -
Those segments were good but it made him a nothing more than a retard comedy character. I prefer a psychotic killer with a comedic edge.

I so wanted that phrase to catch on this way. Have Saturn go apeshit on someone and as there lying there in a heap of pain calmly walk away saying "you're welcome". Show him as a ass kissing lunatic instead of the dumbass retard that they made him.

It shows how much the guy interests me. I didn't even notice his name being wrong and couldn't figure out what the problem was when it was pointed out.

It made sense the first night when DDP said that he was just doing it to get under Taker's skin and piss him off, but then when they decided to go back to the stalking angle and have him worshipping her??? Dude.... WTF man?

When Foley was going into his match with Orton they had that one in ring promo where Foley was trying to get Orton to spit on him. When Mick punched himself in the head multiple times, Orton clearly said "You're fucking crazy". It wasn't really audible, but very easy to read his lips.

Having them fall into a DDT would be a very difficult move to pull off, safely or otherwise but there is a variation of the move you're describing. The difference being that instead of a DDT you get thrown down into an X-Factor.

Ahmed Johnson went flying out of the ring, landed ackwardly and shouted "SHIT" loud enough for the whole building to hear. Oddly enough it was a taped broadcast but they still didn't edit it out.

That one gets a bye because of the participants Plus I kind of like the idea of 'no bullshit, let's fight and the winner will be one step closer than the loser'. Two top contenders going at it for no reason other than determining who is better is a hell of a lot better than some bullshit thrown together to make the fight 'entertaining'.

RVD/Storm was one of my most enjoyable RVD matches. There was good psychology in this match with Storm working on Rob's leg. I can't remember the details precisely but I did like how Rob sold the leg work. D'Lo/Raven was another that I liked. I don't recall how good the match itself was but the build towards it was great. It put a big match feel on a show that never has any build or big matches. I can't remember who he faced but Sean O'Haire had a Velocity match that I really liked. It was a crap squash, but he hit his opponent with a number of stiff sounding kicks that had the crowd popping on each one. He finished him off in awesome fashion with the Burning Hammer variation that he was using for a while.

The idea of Batista doing this to himself is utterly brilliant. This angle has been going on an obvious cookie cutter route since the Rumble. A switch like this would be totally unexpected but still fit right into the storyline. Let JBL make a special guest appearance tonight on Raw for the contract signing. Batista has a Raw and a Smackdown contract in front of him. He gives a fuming death stare to JBL as he's signing, much to HHH's relief. Then as HHH begins his celebration the contract gets slammed into his chest making the Raw logo visible and Batista says "see you at WrestleMania" before calming shaking JBL's hand and walking out. Raw fades with JR having a heart attack and HHH shitting his pants. Let it all be explained next week. The problem with this theory is that it would make HHH the underdog going into WM. It's been established to an extent that Batista is the physically dominant one, this would show that he's got a leg up on him mentally as well, or at least that HHH can't pull his usual tricks on him.

That could work because Eddy has been getting caught lately and Cole and Tazz are playing up this fact. He could "go straight" because the cheating is costing him too many matches. He'd have to use his cheating to lay a beating on the face rather than playing with the fact that he cheated and didn't get caught. I'd like to see a heel turn by Eddy. His cheating was fun when he started making it so obvious, playing with the ref and the crowd but it's getting a little old now. I'd like to see it go back to cheating being an integral part of the wrestling story as opposed to an entertainment factor in it.

Judging by his shirt (NIN no introduction needed... you already know my name), they're going to go the route WCW went when Hall and Nash first entered. No name, you know who he is, then when they can't come up with anything, just use the real name. But seeing how bad Monty Sopp is, he'll probably be BG.

Proposing anal sex during intercourse.
evilhomer replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in Brandon Truitt
That's the funniest damn thing I've seen in months. It's also true. I knew a girl who loved anal, prefered it over anything else. She ended up getting a winged tattoo that joined into an arrow shape pointing to her ass. I guess the only thing to make it more obvious would be landing strip lights. -
They told her that she needed a full head of hair to be marketable. Either that or grow a goatee, drink mass quanitities of beer and throw up her middle fingers.

If the restart was planned, it certainly didn't go as it was laid out to be. They were pressed for time and had to come up with a one minute match on the spot. They could have planned the double elimination to make Cena look strong and build up his case to get the WM title shot. The confusion of the refs is the only thing that makes me think this wasn't planned. They really looked like they didn't know what to do. There's a pretty standard formula that always gets followed on a double victory/loss and instead of following it they waited for instructions. It looked more like he blew out his knee. Check page 18 of the Rumble thread (edit: or three posts up)

What? I don't remember that at all. Not that that's a bad thing.

My brother and I just rewatched it now and saw the same thing you did. The Smackdown refs went along with the decision that Batista won, but as soon as Cena started to get back in the ring suddenly Korderas shouts to Robinson to "Raise Cena's arm" The refs were what really confused me about the finish. They really did look confused about what to do. Maybe they were trying to build up some anticipation for the obvious, but by the time they finally raised Cena's hand it was gone. The fact that they didn't hit anyone's music added to this. It wasn't the standard ref argument formula that's been done before. Maybe the time constraints didn't allow this. The restart match itself was clearly done on the fly. I think they had a mini-match planned out for Cena and Batista but when they looked at the clock they knew that it had to be done quick. There was virtually no drama or excitement for his win. Do you think they'll reshoot the double elimination segment? I wasn't able to tell from the one look I got but simply by the way they fell it was pretty clear that Batista would have touched first.

It's a rule that you have to enter the ring before the next entrant is announced (within the 90 seconds). That's why Simon Dean went in when he did rather than continuing his warm up outside. On the other hand, Nunzio hid out beside the ring as 3 or 4 entrants came in (last year I believe). It's the WWE, rules are more like guidelines. I don't know about a specific rule, but it's happened before that if you can no longer continue, you're gone.

Orton was going for a DDT and HHH blocked, pushing him down, sending him slamming into the mat. Orton hit the back of his head hard (supposedly) giving him the concussion.

Except for two ways: Two) The storyline contract expired, and was bought out by the other brand. AKA The Matt Hardy Clause. I'd do this, Have HBK show up on Smackdown and announce that while he was out with his injury, he didn't know nor did The Raw offices realize that his contract expired with raw in mid december. Since he had not resigned with Raw, that effectively made him a FREE AGENT. And on Monday morning, he called his lawler to see how he could get out of raw and simply learned he'd been free for over a month. So monday afternoon; he called up Theodore Long and promptly signed a new contract...with Smackdown. Bischoff finds out about it that night during Raw and goes ballestic, and tells coach "Looks like one of our raw superstars has just jumped to Smackdown". Bischoff threatens legal activity but according to the Board of Directors; there's nothing shawn did that was illegal. Right, so Raw "management" didn't realize that the contract of 1 of their top stars expired w/out them realizing it? That seems a little far-fetched. I also think HBK might have noticed that he hasn't gotten a paycheque for over a month The best way to handle the situation is to allow an interpromotional match, have Angle pull out a clean but screwy win and go on bragging about it with the confidence that HBK can't get him. Then let him shit his pants as HBK gets drafted over to Smackdown. For Batista, they'll tease it for a couple more weeks with HHH expecting a bye at WM. Dave will grudingly accept until HHH runs his mouth too much causing him to snap. Overall I'd say this spells the end for Evolution. The only way that new members are ever accepted is if they are different and superior to their successors. There's nobody on the horizon who has either quality.
