It's been a great run for Bob, but I'm glad he's finally retiring. Watching old TPiR clips on YouTube just reinforce how far down he's come. I agree that they should just retire the show with him. I'd guess that most people watch just for Bob. No one's going to watch with anyone else as host.

The Yankees only had two above-average starters last year. I'd rather have Jeff Suppan every fifth day than trotting out Sidney Ponson, Shawn Chacon or Kris Wilson and seeing if they don't suck today. Yeah, but 40 million, 10 million a year for a fifth starter? If any team can pay that for a fourth/fifth starter, it's the Yankees.

Really? I was regularly using 100MB or more when running IE 7.0, sometimes getting up to 150. Firefox 2.0 at least manages to keep it under that. It's the tabbed browsing -- it's like running four or five browser windows simultaneously. That'll hog your RAM no matter what.
