  1. I've been waiting for Brock's return for a while now and I'm sorta glad that he left because up until the Goldberg angle they were really starting to pussify his character by making him tap out and cheat so much to win even though he looked like he could murder anybody on the roster...now hopefully he can come back as the monster that he was and rip through the locker room. A victory at the Rumble would be great...let him kill everybody on SD! and then show up on Raw to claim his title shot...I'm hoping for an eventual end to the brand split so by putting him on SD! he'd lose too much heat too fast...RAW is the place for the real stars and as I've said before WWE is missing the boat by not getting as much talent as possible under one roof to get their product back to where it once was. Furthermore I say enough with the Brock hate...they guy is a much bigger prospect than Orton and Cena and can only help the company...the WWE had used up all of their big matches and combining brands with the return of some major stars like Lesnar could really turn things around and I hope that's where we're headin'. Brock is a great worker...yes great...and his heel promos on Austin, Goldberg and Eddie were all good...I would like to see him back with Heyman although that wouldn't really fit his character. Brock needs to come back.
  2. On a related topic...are there usually hot girls at house shows, tv tapings and the like...I've yet to meet a girl wrestling fan...
  3. HHH played such a minor role in this movie and it wasn't really believable that he got his ass kicked so much...maybe that's because I'm used to watching him roll through everybody on Raw but seriously..he and the rest of these vampires were the weakest of the bunch considering how tough the villians from the first two films were...HHH gets the shit kicked out of him by Blade and Van Wilder, who absolutely made this film for me. I would be down for a fourth and final film called Nightstalkers as long as these three can regroup...or maybe just more of Van Wilder in action films.
  4. Seriously...WTF is wrong with all of these people...why don't they like Heyman...especially Steph? She has to know that he is in no way ever going to be a threat to her overall position in the company and he can do nothing but good for them....I just looks like these guys live in a bubble world where they only write this crap for themselves and just think will keep right on paying good money to see it. There's a reason why Flair and ECW DVDs are outselling everything you have Vince...it's because we f'n hate what you've had on tv for almost 4 years now! I can't imagine how bad Heyman must feel...his dead company's DVD is selling like crack on Whitney Houstons front lawn and they barely acknowledge it and then demote him for having the balls to say this current stuff isn't any good and the fans don't want this. He and Bret Hart and Tom Zenk should do a tv show that talks about wrestling and air all of this crap that goes on so that the fans who don't know can see how Steph and crew are killing what was once a fun thing to watch...
  5. If he cares about the biz that made him he would but he's making solid movies right now so I doubt it. I wish Vice would pull the chain on all the available talent in the damn world and give us something good to watch. He has 4 shows to do this on and all the money he needs so why not just bring EVERYBODY back in. The old guys could get whipped by some of the newer talent,Orton could go back to being the legend killer...something has to change cause this WWE thing just ain't working out...
  6. Blade:Trinity is badass- HHH is little more than a cameo if you can belive that. I think his character is homosexual and Van Wilder makes fun of him having a small penis...possibly shooting on HHH's roid action...by the way Ryan Reeves is as cut or more physically than any WWE wrestler on the roster...never woulda thought that.
  7. You would think that since wrestlers don't sumbit to the damn Camel Clutch now that any new wrestler wouldn't dream of using it. I hate it that all the finishers suck now. I like the idea of a flying carpet though. The WWE is probably so brazen that they'll give the guy a human size plane to splash his opponent with instead.(no offense intended to anyone)
  8. Like everything else the WWE has taken a good idea and totally saturated us with these friggin "Divas"...what started with Sable as a cool filler for the fans has turned stupid...I could care less about seeing another diva in her bra and panties because I've now seen it a million times...I found it funny when nobody even cheered at Stacy Keibler on Raw this past Monday when she stripped...it was even in her home town...I'm not saying that they don't have a place but to get rid of Gail Kim, Jazz,Jaqueline and Nidia, the only non-white chicks on the damn show I might add, was a stupid idea since three out of the four are better than what we have left with the exception of Victoria. If they want a viable division then why make such a dumb move and then bring in all those damn contest losers. I swear that Vince is seriously tired of running the WWE and really does want to bring it close to disaster and then give it to his kids so that when it finally does fold that he can say that he wasn't to blame for it.
  9. I cannot stand the frequency of the heel/face turns as well as title runs. They don't stick with anything anymore other than HHH and maybe Cena to an extent. They think that if a fan either boos or cheers someone for more than two shows(possibly 30 minutes of total airtime) then they need to be turned. There is no consistency on anything from theme music to title credibility. They keep changing so much that fans can't keep up and the changes are ALWAYS for the worse...never for the better. Perhaps the biggest flaw in their logic is that they have years and years of footage of what was and wasn't successful in EVERY single major wrestling organization in North America and they still don't have a clue on how to make things entertaining. And because they've become so out of touch with whats good they have perhaps sunk their only change to get WWE24/7 on major cable and sattelite companies because it may not be a safe bet for the companies even though we as fans would eat it up. On a side note it will be a great day when we can say that ECW and WCW reruns will be whipping current product all over the place. Vince should close shop and run 24/7 on TNN or USA for a while and come back in 6 months when they have a good product.
  10. Irreversible...never ever let a woman watch this movie but it's such an emotional and disturbing film that I recommend everybody see it. There are two scenes that will change your definition of disturbing events on screen.
  11. All of those are great but here's some that haven't been mentioned yet. The 93' Rumble when the ring sorta cleared and Big John Tenta stared down Yokozuna and then did his earthquake thing where he jumped up and down. I thought that was badass. Lex Luger vs. Yokozuna at Summer Slam- Red,White and Blue everywhere. Savage as the ring announcer and the way he stared at Yoko as he said "the NEXT World Champion" was great and Lex's entrance and the slam later was off the charts. UT coming out to join the All -Americans and his old school flag on the inside of his coat. I marked hard for everything UT did back then. Being part of the team during the Survivor Series was great as he waited all match to get in and then kept sitting up no matter what Yoko did. Then later at the Rumble his match against Yoko was cool as he battled against all the heels in his title match. I know that they've now redid UT's "get destroyed then come back a few months later" act a million times now but back then I loved it. Wrestling was much simpler back then. I don't remember which Rumble it was but I marked out when Marty Jannetty came into the Rumble match and went right for HBK and they just beat the hell outta each other for a few seconds and the crowd went nuts. They hadn't been feuding at that point for months and it was cool to see some continuity in the WWE(F)
  12. Benoit did get screwed tonight because any smart person would've just dumped cold water on HHH to see if he was really just faking the injury...and there was like twenty minutes left in the show anyways..long enough for a cage match, a backstage segment, a commercial break and another interview...they made him look stupid and then didn't give him a title shot and as I said earlier derailed the momentum of what was going to be four solid weeks of Raw. I don't understand why those in charge of this show can't get a grasp on what the fans want...this show can't be entertaining to anybody...Raw is getting X-Pac heat...
  13. Yeah the Dragon woulda' ruled. I was just hoping to see them continue the rising tension between HHH and Batista(which it still looks like they're going to do anyways) until the fourth week when I thought Orton would be GM and then he would make the HHH/Batista match. Benoit should've had his match with HHH tonight and Snitsky could've come out from under the ring or something but as usual the WWE is apparently serious about ruining everything even remotely entertaining. Tonight started great with the MNF skit but then the heels just ran through the faces up until the six-man tag. Even Coach got way to many shots in on Rhyno. I was completely disappointed with the fake injury that fooled no one. I really thought that this was the 4 weeks the Vince and crew could get something going but like a big boot from Snisky Raw's momentum was stopped cold. I never thought that Raw is Maven would be better than Monday Night Crippler....
  14. Same here...some nice things at the beginning but by the end it is such a f'd up ripoff of Chainsaw that I was highly dissapointed with the result...but yeah I'll give Rob my $6.50 again...if only for Baby Firefly in a bigger role....
  15. I would have to go with the World War III battles from 97(?) with the NWO staying in the corner all night and demolishing anyone who challenged them. The next two years are good two with the NWO pulling a fast one on everybody with Hogan coming to help Hall at the end against DDP and the Giant. And the last one where Nash won was good two. All the Wolf Pack, Benoit/Malenko,Booker, Scott Hall and the Giant were in there at the end. WWIII matches were always fun because of everybody involved and the team efforts that are never seen at the Rumble. I wish WWE would do something like this once.
  16. I just put in the Rumble 99 with Bossman/ Roaddogg in the opening match and a few minutes later I'm reading this. This is a sad day for wrestling fans for sure as I was always a big fan of his..he was great as a face in the eighties and early nineties and badass as the Corporate enforcer role during the attitude era...you will be missed Bossman.
  17. Well it was like nothing I've ever seen before...the film on a whole was on a completely different level...I hate what happens in that scene but for some reason I would recomend this movie to anyone but not because I think they'll "like" the film but because of the impact it will have on them. It is horrible and amazing at the same time.
  18. I know that his movie isn't knew but I had heard ZERO about and saw that every critic on the cover including Ebert and Roper had great things to say and then I watched it and well...if you don't want to be spoiled then stop right here because this movie is messed all the fuck up.....if you've seen this I'd like some thoughts and I have a question. Is Alex pregnant at the end of this movie when she's lying on the grass or does it just look that way. I think that it she is and that Gasper Noe is for once in the movie going out of the movie's "Memento-like" sequence and revealing that she does live and that she does stay pregnant...even through that horrible ordeal...I would like to know some of your thoughts on what is maybe the most disturbing movie I've ever seen.
  19. Eddie may be smarter than you all think...imagine this...Eddie somehow gets Kurt down and wwwrenches back on that bad neck... well he may as well leave the country at that point because Vince would kill him...especially if it wasn't on tape...that's a bit extreme but if Kurt got hurt at all in an altercation with Eddie there'd be hell to pay so Eddie was smart for backing off...and Kurt would win IMO.
  20. This is amazing...I had no idea that Hooters would show PPVs....do they do this all over the country...please don't tell me this is some "canadian" thing only....
  21. "When I die..I don't want to go to Heavan...I wanna go STRAIGHT TO HEEUHLLLL!" Or something like that...
  22. I just watched it again for the fist time in years and thought it was still great. I thought Foley..conscious or not..told a heck of a story...after taking those sick bumps he was laughing and smiling! I marked pretty hard after seeing it again...even the downtime when you keep seeing the angles of his fall is great...and the crowd was popping big for most of the match...it was cool to watch the Undertaker react to everything too since he was appartently killing Mick Foley...I watched the match maybe three times over two days and probably rewound the big hits 3 or 4 more...even if there was little "match" time (whatever you people want to call that in wrestling today, there's more match time in Scotty2Hotty vs. Mordeci but it ain't a good match) it will stand the test of time as an emotional ***** match in Vince's wrestling world.
  23. Keep 'em comin'...that Jim Ross vs. Johnny Ace main event was killing me!
  24. To get back on topic a little I think that Orton's title win and face turn is just about where it needs to be...Benoit is great but like so many have said he can't pull off great promos...they're good..but good in an eighties kind of way...let's face it..even the best wrestlers don't pull in the fans as much as a good to really good worker with great promos and storyline segments do...the WWE has never had a huge run with a guy like Benoit as their champ as much as it pains me to say this and Bret Hart is another example(although I'd rather be watching a Hart style title run with Benoit than what I think will happen in Ortons run) of a guy who was in the same boat. VKM knows that his biggest runs were with Hogan and Austin with the Rock up there too and they continue to think that Orton follows that formula...I can't say that for sure but I like where they've gone with this so far...I want to see Orton play hit and run and have to fight everybody because I think that right now everybody should lose to him to put him over...this could be different run than what we're used to...a true tweener champ..not the badboy Austin type or the super hero Hogan...but a guy who is cocky who nobody can beat...young athletes come into many sports and dominate so Orton should be no different...but this feud with Evolution should have lots and lots of blood...We Need A Real Elimination Match at Survivor Series Vince..or hell even a War Games...just to keep the heat on this feud...

    Brock Lesnar DOWN!

AWWW...Can't you see!!! It's all I work!!! Vince sent Brock to the NFL to kill it...just like he sent Hall and Nash to WCW....he DOES NOT WANT COMPETITION on Monday nights damnit!!! The NFL will only survive five more years if it accepts Brock into it's ranks...
