I thought the show was good (although the cruiser matches were shorter this week) with an awesome main event. Great stuff. Bradshaw is working his ass off and is good when paired up with Eddie, but I can't see the same success with Taker. But right now it's all good.

It's summer and I have lots of free time so I wanna get back into Japanese comics. I am still new to this, having only read 2 or 3 Gundam 0079 volumes and about a dozen Ranma 1/2 books, so I need some info/opinions/recommendations. Here are some of titles I saw at the local B&N: Dragonball - Dragonball interested me more than DBZ Dragonball Z - Kind of got into the TV version at the end, is the manga good? Initial D - Graphic novel based on racing!!! Love Hina - Looks kind of racy, is the actual story good? Various Gundam - Which are the best? Astroboy - classic series, does classic = good? Rurouni Kenshin - I've had it recommended to me. Demon Dairy - Interesting idea, any good? Since Ranma I've had a soft spot in my heart for goofy, funny graphic novels and prefer them to the sci-fi serious ones. But a good read is a good read so I'm open to anything. Again opinions on the above and advice on what to get is appreciated, thanks.

Ayane's High Kick- I've only seen the first tape which had like 3-4 episodes. It's good and the only wrestling related anime I've seen. Love Hina- I had trouble getting into it at first but after vol. 5 or so I really liked it. It's a nice comedy/ love story. The episodes are done nicely and I recommend them the most next to... Chobits. Another great anime. This one is about a guy whose having trouble in junior college and working a scummy job. (he gets free porno from his boss though) When he's walking home he see's a robot type lady which is called a Persacom. This deals with the persacom becoming more and more like a human. Its really good.

They're like a year late on the 10th anniversary DVD. I might be interested in the Triumph one if it has some good extra's.

A lot of us started off with The Super J Cup '94 and I was no different. I've read a lot about it as did my brother. He bought the tape and I wasnt sure as to what I would see, I was completely amazed by the Sasuki/Lyger match and was hooked after that.
