I'm fairly certain the man never had a PPV match. Not even a Royal Rumble appearance. I do, however, remember the WWF Magazine column by Bob Backlund condemning Man Mountain Rock and his music.

At least the majority of the matches have aftermaths that promote the PPV and make things a bit interesting. They do, however, need to throw a Naturals squash on Impact.

Hopefully they'll stick Yang in a jobber tag team with Fuanki so the kid keeps, you know, making a living.

Tacking it onto the end of the PPV would cost them A LOT of money, as they'd have to pay Comcast, Direct TV, etc. for the extra amount of time. And they don't want to give it out to Comcast because then it would make them seem like a company that doesn't have their shit in order. Plus, Comcast isn't going to want a company that's going to be starting an On Demand service using their On Demand service to promote the forthcoming On Demand service, if that makes any sense.

I don't doubt that he'll host one show, though.

His contract runs out in something like October. They're just letting him sit out. Which is a shame, because I don't like Steiner, but he could definitely have use. Putting people over, etc. as a hell. If not on Raw at least on Heat. Also, yes, I see everyone jobbing to Randy, then dropping it to Triple H, and the cycle repeating. Steiner's a liability. Knowing that he wasn't getting a renewal, you never know what he would've done.

Agreed. I'm fairly certain I remember that show. And as far as who made RVD, the Respect Matches made him a viable upper midcarder, while the match with Lynn made him a main eventer in the fans' eyes (whether he was being pushed that way or not).

I'm sure Eddie will wind up with another DVD within two years, so they likely don't want to blow their load when it comes to international matches.

I've been listening to "Gone Forever" for the first time on a loop for two hours, and all I have to say is this. Holy fucking shit. Awesome music. Better Days is next.

As has been said before, that Chavo match is a really weird selection.

They need to show Sealab more often to promote the DVD. And tonight they showed episodes 2 and 3, and tomorrow night they're showing episodes 1 and 4. Hopefully after that they stick to the actual order.

As nikjohns said, the only thing that could've made it better was that if it wasn't a match. You know, if they had (either this week or last week), one of those backstage segments with a face like Hurricane, Val Venis, Maven, etc. that leads to what the audience thinks will just be a typical Triple H squash. When Triple H was making his entrance, that could've led to the Regal attack, with the opponent just kind of quietly slipping away to the back.
