That's basic human nature, though. X has a PS3 - Y is envious and wants a PS3 as well - O is so envious of X, he'll kill Y (to eliminate the threat of someone else getting what he wants) and steal the PS3 from X.

Simply awesome. Technically, it really depends on who's holding the gun, and who's wielding the knife. A normal person with a gun, vs. a trained Navy SEAL with a knife. Hmm. The first part of your post is absolutely retarded. Guns are efficient killing tools, and if used properly, will wield the results the handler is looking for. I don't see how they are exactly considered cowardly. I'm assuming you mean in any/all circumstances, which is ridiculous. What are the troops supposed to use, their fists and feet? I do think it's cowardly for someone to use a gun in a normal, every day situations though. Like when someone is mugging you, and they have a gun, yeah, that's easily considered cowardly. I disagree with the notion that guns "aren't the problem, the people are". Both parties are equally responsible. Guns are made for one purpose, that's to kill. Making guns available to civilians is one of the biggest fuck ups our Constitution has ever made. People, by nature, are greedy/corrupt, as they were back in the 1700's. To bad our founding fathers couldn't think that far into the future. Eric, you think regulations will actually help with this growing problem? Ever heard of prohibition? Yeah, they still got ahold of what was "regulated/banned", didn't they? There is no solution to this problem. And you're not a fan of imprisionment, so what would the punishment be for breaking this regulation? We can sit here all day, and try to find a solution, but we never will. The government takes guns away, people find other ways to get them. Government finds out, locks said people up. Said people get anally raped in prision. Said rapists get eventually murdered via physical force/shank/STD. Said rape victims become hardened criminals seeking revenge for being raped/thrown into prision for having guns, which USED to be allowed. Said people then become repeat offenders, and ultimately, institutionalized. Such a vicious circle.

Even Akiyama has put on a considerable amount of weight. -
I doubt he had to do any real physical (weight lifting) training before joining the WWF. IIRC, he used mostly shoot moves in his matches.

..... I wonder if he's seen this thread? -
This will probably be the best movie I see all year. Will Smith has really developed into a great actor, and I like survival horror genre related movies.

He was polite, and respectful to us, but at the same time, very determined to teach us. We treated him as a high leveled civilian, meaning, "Yes, sir" - "No, sir" - "Thank you sir, may I have another?" I, along with a few other Marines worked out with him in the gym a few hours later. For being in his forties, the man can sure make a twenty year old blush. I was alone with him for a minute, and I asked him about the WWF. He wasn't too thrilled to work there, and really had some negative feelings towards a few of the "tough guys" like Taker and JBL.

Re - Bobby Lashley - I've never been interested in this guy whatsoever. He's awfully bland, not very talented in the ring, and can't talk. -

Selling is what makes a match. It's hard to incorporate selling into a 3 minute match, which is kind of pointless anyway. Because unless it's a squash match, no one will give two shits about a three minute match. It's just a throw away match to begin with, so why bother yourself with complaining of horrible selling? If you want to see good selling, watch some puroresu for fucks sake. Selling is one of the things that bothers me the most about big gimmick matches, like a TLC match. Remember when Matt Hardy and Bubba Ray Dudley went flying out of the ring on the two ladders and crashed into a stack of tables? They were running around like nothing happened a few minutes later. That's completely ridiculous. -

Jackson/Mills/Johnson/Swilling were awesome. -
He was demonstrating how to use a blood choke correctly, and I had to be the one to ask "What do you do if they start to struggle?" He showed me what you do....

Why would you randomly post something without checking to see if it's legit first? ....nevermind. This is TSM. -

Now, I realize that turf toe is a serious problem for backs/receivers, who need to make split second cuts and spins. I don't understand with lineman. The sharpest cut they'll ever make is when they make a pulling block, and that's not that often quick and precise. I had turf toe in high school. It is painful, but taping the big toe is an effective way to cure/avoid that type of injury. -

Nice post. I've always wondered why certain pro players will play with a life debilitating/altering injury, but others will sit out with turf toe? -

The 1991 Redskins. They were a phenomenal team, going 14-2, and losing to the Cowboys (11-5) and Eagles (10-6). They had the hands down best offense, and the second best defense to the Saints (wow, didn't realize the Saints used to be so good). Minus the two losses, they only had three close games, the rest were squashes. They then squashed the Falcons (10-6) in the divisional playoff game, and then HHH squashed the Lions in the NFC championship game (they blanked the Lions (12-4) in the regular season 45-0). They then beat the Buffalo Bills (13-3) by thirteen in the Super Bowl. Mark "the Ripper" Rypien had two fantastic Wide Receivers in Art Monk and Gary Clark, and Ricky Sanders wasn't a slouch either. Clark was second in the league for reception yards, Monk was fifth. Earnest Byner was the "star" half-back, rushing for over 1,000 yards, and ranking fifth in the league for yards. Cannot forget the "Capitol Punishment" defense. -
It's possible for any human to become winded/gassed. No matter how well/superiorly conditioned you are. It's a fact of nature. This is generally the reasoning behind many losses in MMA. Add in fighting someone who is leagues ahead of yourself in terms of skill and training, and it's a no brainer. Mir obviously has experience, and overall skill on Lesnar. However, I think Lesnar's overall frightening strength will be his greatest asset in the MMA ring.

Ken Shamrock is one intimidating individual. I had the pleasure of sparring with him at Camp Pendleton in mid 2005. He was unbelievably strong.

Is Christian going to be a face now, again? TNA is horrible about face/heel turns. They do them so often, and so frequently, it's hard to keep up with. -
I have a newer PS2. It's obviously a slim model, which I got this January. Still okay? I'm hearing conflicting reports that it does/doesn't work.

I've bought the latest version of the PS2 Codebreaker. Add in the PS2 Save Builder, and I should be able to get all the edit packs I need/want, correct?

Another point, he criticises Japanese wrestling. He should re-watch some AJPW pre split, to get a deeper appraciation of Japanese wrestling. Avoid Misawa though. -
The Internet is Hurting The Business: Part 1
theintensifier replied to JPopStarKami's topic in General Wrestling
Is the internet hurting the business? Without a shadow of a doubt it is. There is no surprises left, everything is already known well in advance. However, what does Glenn want, the Crusier's to lay on the mat and sell for a few minutes? What's an acceptable amount of time to sell a blow/move? Obviously, it depends of a lot of things. But, to go off of a tangent like that, and write a rather pointless, and awfully biased diatribe, is ridiculous. There are far bigger fish to fry than poor selling from some indy wrestler in a try out match. -

There are plenty of people in North America who dont care about HD but they're all 90 years old, blind and prefer to listen to Paul Harvey for the rest of the story before they go outside and yell at the kids playing in their yard and giving them a "back in my day.." speech. I don't give two flying fucks about HD.
