I asked this, and after some searching, I found out that Football Wives was indeed "Playmaker"ed by the No Fun League Good, the original is pretty decent on BBCA about soccer and American remakes have been hit or big miss. The main thing that makes the original so good though is the language, very adult content and nudity of the hot ladies. Without those elements, it would be kind of a weak show.

Because winners want the ball when the game is on the line silly. That's it, that's the whole reason. Lebron made a smart play since going up for the shot might have resulted in him missing or getting blocked and us getting either the "Lebron can't make it in big games" or "Is Lebron James selfish?" discussion. With ESPN, if he doesn't make the shot and score 80 points then he's obviously not ready.

It's Vince, pretty much explains it. The guy does own the company so he can do anything he wants to do.

Well Keanu might be out of the picture anyway if Constantine 2 gets filming around the time they start Watchmen. So that might be the best thing in the world to hope for. Keanu seems more interested in doing a very hard R rated Constantine sequel than anything else so if they can get that rolling first, he'll be off the table for this.

The little bit of belief I had in Khali is dead. I thought they finally had some good momentum going with him but that nonsense ending at Judgment Day just killed any bit of interest I had in him. He went from unstoppable monster to just another wrestler in less than 3 weeks. First Cena lifts him too early when that SHOULD have been played out for a long time and not wasted on RAW. Then he goes into Judgment Day and taps out to Cena. And the final topper, claiming he was robbed of a win because his foot was under the rope. Nothing says unbeatable giant like complaining he was screwed. Khali could have really been built up as an old school monster but that was wasted.

Guess Chloe won't be helping Jack in the last hour, but man does her just fainting feel like tension for the sake of tension. They really didn't deliver in this first hour, hope the second hour has SOMETHING happen.

No, that was the pilot. After the pilot, Blade became a pretty big staple. Although he was still playing backseat to the breasts of Jill Wagner and Jesse Gower. The pilot killed that series dead, which is a shame because it got really good after that. And the show is already a gaggle of errors. If it had come before T3 was released, I think it could have been huge. Now it's just going to confuse the hell out of Terminator fans since they will do what they want to try and grab ratings.

Damn, talk about a serious mess up that cost Kennedy huge. Now he'll be back incredibly early with really nothing to do since he cannot immediately feud with Edge.

Wait wait wait....Summer Glau is a Terminator? Oh hell, I am there now. From mentally messed up war machine to mentally sex crazed girl (The Unit) to a Terminator. That is one hell of a list of roles right there. Now HERE is the problem I already have with the show. John's last encounter with the Terminators was according to himself in T3, was with the Arnold one in T2. So either he forgot this nice large chunk of his life where he and his mom are fighting Terminators (while she has cancer no less) or we are headed into Enterprise style re-imagining of a universe that'll eventually not make any sense. Despite that, Summer as a freakin TERMINATOR!

The basic feeling I heard from those who saw Shrek 3 was very much like Spider-Man 3. It was alright but a disappointment to what they thought they were getting. Another thumbs in the middle to down film for the opening of Summer. That doesn't fill me with much hope now. Hope they are prepared for Shrek 4 cause it's coming.

Neither is good. Both could provide a solid income for the legal citizens of the US but instead we outsource jobs and allow people who have no intention of ever wanting to become citizens to get the ones we have. I think we really need to improve the citizen program though cause we have people who have been waiting 5 years to become official citizens. That's not right, they did everything right and by the book (paperwork, tests that cost many work hours, learn the language) but they get punished for it. We need to heavily tax businesses that hire illegals who aren't working towards their citizenship (which we have tons of sadly) and see how the problem works out. Will some businesses fail and shut down? Absolutely they will but they shouldn't be breaking the laws of the country. I wish Mexico would get their issues in order and make their economy better with more jobs. Perhaps expansion of our and Japan's major businesses into Mexico could help both cases. It is outsourcing jobs yes but it could help Mexico grow as a country which could seriously cut down on the illegal immigration to the United States. This is the only version of outsourcing I won't have a problem with IF it provides a competitive living wage to the country and not the crap like in India. I don't know, I'm out of ideas but the idea of just allowing those who have effectively been breaking the law for over a decade to just have their freedom while those who did it right still sit and wait doesn't seem right or fair.

Thorn will more than likely go next, otherwise they are just going to have to pretend Ariel never existed. Or they plan on putting some stupid model in there who is incapable of doing anything but is Vince's idea of hot. It's shocking they cut Ariel before they could get her in the swimsuit and lingerie issues. I would think some men would be falling over themselves to get pictures of her giant breasts in a bikini or teddy. This always happens around this time though so I'm sure more are coming. I hope Ariel didn't get cut to make way for the ladies of the next diva search but odds are she did.

Jim Carrey got getting a best picture nomination for either Truman Show or Man on the Moon or hell even Eternal Sunshine. I thought he would have got at least ONE nod out of those. But Paul Giamatti not getting a nod for Sideways just shocked the hell out of me. I had him as the virtual LOCK for a nomination.

Actually no, the show fell victim to new writer syndrome. Commander in Chief had compelling storylines but then in the middle of the season, new writers were brought in and the show got completely hammered into death. They lost a huge chunk of the audience to that and then Idol came along to grind what was left away. And thanks for reminding me it's the CW, Mole. Sometimes watching the network and seeing the shows becoming exactly like every show the WB had, I forget it's two networks merged. So far only Everyone hates Chris and Smackdown have avoided being WB-ized though with crap storylines and worthless nonsensical romance plots with the local dickweed just because the girls on the net find him cute.

Maybe Phelps thinks he's some kind of homosexual fighting Highlander? There can be only ONE!

They are better off just killing the show now. I liked it when it was on UPN but then it moved over to WB, had Veronica doing the on again off again with the giant no talent ass, and overall didn't feel like the same show. Now her suddenly showing up in the FBI feels like a desperation move that will only end in heartbreak. Better off to pull the plug before the WB can totally destroy the corpse. And I'd really love to say "The Critic" but that show was given tons of chances. I'll go with "The Tick" both cartoon and tv series, just because I liked them both and neither was given even a fighting chance.

Thomas Jane pulled out of "Punisher 2", apparently because the script was horrible and he refused to be part of something he felt was an insult to the character. While they took some liberties with the storyline in the first film, I felt like Jane had a brilliant performance. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a solid script for the sequel, which is now looking dead. Jane is a huge Frank Castle fan and wanted it to have a dark, grimy feel like the comics and instead the script comes off as the ultimate slap to the face of the character. I am pissed off beyond belief. This was one of the few movies I was really looking forward to and excited about and it was just completely bobbled. Now it'll be rushed out with a crap director, a crap script and a crappy guy playing Punisher JUST so LGF can keep the rights to The Punisher. Right, because a good script wouldn't have been able to accomplish the same damn thing. Morons.

I like how they have tried to make it harder and harder for the woman who keeps dominating the course. It's like watching someone trying to Tiger proof a golf course but still failing miserably. I forget her name but she looks like someone who needs to be in a movie ripping someones liver out with her bare hands. And Rie Komiya is awesome, too bad she'll probably never win the thing. Porn stars, gymnasts, wrestlers, sumos, acrobats, mothers, barely teen daughters, schoolgirls and everything else on the planet you can name all competing for one prize. FEMALE NINJA WARRIOR! Also the Curtain Cling doesn't impress me much at all. Now the Cliffhanger, sweet GOD that is a messed up obstacle.

Didn't the Suns win games without Amare in the past few seasons? I don't know if they can or will win, but it would be interesting if they did. ETA: Oh yeah, Alf said it. I thought I remembered that.

Unless another network picks it up, it's dead. It's the shows own damn fault for being incredibly slow before the hiatus and barely advancing any kind of storyline. Once it came back, most of the viewers were gone and it tried to get them back to no such luck.

Since this is the CBS line-up, I figured I'd list the shows that died: The Class, Jericho and Close to Home. Waterfront with Joey Pants never even got off to air one of the five completed episodes before CBS killed it. Talk about harsh. New Adventures of Old Christine is set as a mid-season return with one final chance to make ratings since it was suffering a drop this season. If it fails to find it's stride again, it won't be back after this upcoming run. The good news is Patrick Warburton is back and ready to bring the laughs full time. Hopefully the rest of the boring cast and David Spade playing David Spade can make things happen.

His head must have exploded with three straight years of white boys winning the MVP award.

Yeah, can they build a better town and vision than the pioneers? Well I don't know, do they have the same medical treatment as the pioneers did? Are they going to ride to town from NYC on wagons? This is like someone read Lord of the Flies then saw a Star Trek episode and went, "Hey! Great idea! Use those!" And no Babylon Fields makes me sad.

If I had to take a wild guess, his health and conditioning were still horrible. He looks in much better shape now so I guess they are finally going to start moving forward with it.

Did Justin give up his Target job? He could be an original. Or Guido, he doesn't seem to be busy. And really, I think those who know the actions of Sabu are more shocked he lasted this long before getting fired.
