You really aren't enjoying faces Vs. Evolution? Evo getting shit on by Bischoff. The faces helping each other, finally. Using "heel" tactics to overpower Evolution. HHH being booked even when he "isn't in the building". Multiple finishers hit on Trips, Flair, and Big Dave? The Smackdown! tag title scene is at least comedic and produces decent enough tag matches and good singles bouts. For Smackdown!, at least.

http://hhh.ytmnd.com/ <----THAT IS GREAT The Heidenreich ones are funny. Hulk and Okerlund's "Gene O" is the best, however.

I think the writers released that fans are a little sick of the "status quo" with Evolution having power. Even without the title, they were in EVERY main event. Now with Triple H having a long title reign, they need to give the fans the feeling that he can lose it, thus, making them care. I don't think they're going anywhere. Their team should go over at Survivor Series.

Labyrinth starring David Bowie
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in Television & Film
I just like the fact that Bowie sings all while surrounding himself with evil muppets and trying to seduce a 13 year old girl. -
If someone could hook me up with loose/good conditioned of the following X-Men/X-Force figures, I'd be happy: Commando Avalanche The Blob Nimrod Genesis Thanks! That'd actually complete my set of every X-Men related figure from 91-98...I skipped some of those figures in the later X-Force releases.

I prefer to stay away from areas whose main attraction are orange-puke colored football teams and "the Grand Ole Oprey!" -
My God, we agree.

You should have asked him if WWE plans on putting him on Raw so he can have good matches again. His last good one was WM 20, a better-than-average match. That was more because of Guerrero's tactics than Angle's "German Suplex, Anklelock for 20 minutes" fests he's done since being injured. However, I'm not gonna bash Angle that much. The guy's put his body in the line so many times. It's WWE's fault for booking him against the likes of Big Show, and teaming him with the Hoss Foundation.

That's the girl from "10 Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter" or whatever that shitty show is.

Look at this. Insane crazy scary puppets. A fantasy world. Amazing music. Seriously, this was like The Wizard of Oz meets The Muppets...why wasn't this the next "big movie"...

nl, there's on room for one annoying Scorpio round these parts. November 9th is a much better day. -
"Bart's Friend Falls in Love", Season 3, it is. This is not the best episode of the series. But it's really funny. I almost forgot, it even has the "Indiana Jones" spoof opening in addition to "Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to you Know What".

Best Damned Wrestling Show Period Spoilers
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
They should use Luger's soon to be dead, coked out, murderous, has-been ass as an entertaining gimmick. Like have Hardy pettle him more and more ecstacy each week until Luger forgets his name, and then they won't even have to give him a paycheck. He can be Jushin "Thunder" Luger and cut promos on old 1991 WCW gimmicks. or they can have him collapse and due an anti-drug gimmick to help get a new face over, like maybe Roderick Strong or Billy Gunn. -

Hahaha. I can see the scene now, down in Tennessee. The corporate executive from LA leaves a meeting in Nashville, where his company has just donated soup cans to all the hicks. Just then, a small child in a "Goldberg" T-Shirt approaches him... Child: "A Yuk-yuk! My daddy gave me dis' here Goldberg shirt! You like rasslin'?" Executive: "Argh! That smell! Well, actually, I just purchased four front row tickets for my children for WWE WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles. It's for their Christmas stockings. They'll be so happy. Child: "My daddy got me 'dem tickets, too! But he says that WrestleMania is in Florida this year and its called WWE Victory Road!" ::: the father, covered in flies, then escorts the child away::: Father: "Damnit, don't you be sayin' that to the boy! I can't afford no damn WrestleMania tickets, you hear? Plus, these were only 5 bucks! An' maybe I'll get the boy his first toothbrush!" Child: "Jeff Hardy!!!! Extreme!!!!!" -
Dave Meltzer comments on WWE's problems
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
*** To look at the 1992-1995 period in the U.S. and say things were far worse, and in ways they were far worse, misses a major point.*** 1992 was one of the greatest years for wrestling ever, in terms of entertainment. So how about 1993-95. *** There was ECW as a cult favorite, using both ideas from Japan, creating new talent, and some new ideas that started getting a cult following. Today, there is none of that. *** Because there's nothing left to steal. You know what, I've read this piece. There's not one remotely new idea on here. Thank you Meltzer, for wasting 2 minutes of my time. Now stop copying and pasting opinions that are years old. John Cena isn't the next Hulk Hogan? SHOCKING! Brock shouldn't have turned face? MY GOD! There's no ECW? "Hardcore Matches" are passe'? SIGN ME UP FOR THE OBSERVER! -
Hey, my birthday is in one week. So post a picture that shows your appreciation for the pictures I took the time to post and I will be very happy. And whoever posts the best picture will get a surprise.

Who the hell considers Dogma a cult favorite... It can't touch the original trilogy...it's pretty much not even in context either. What, it's more popular than the uber-shitty JASBSB? So is lead based paint. -
I think Tom Hanks is better than Nicholson by a bit. He's been in more classics, IMO, anyway, and I've always liked him.

How can ace be 1 *and* 11? HUH? What kind of God would allow that? I dig the one with Millhouse's first girlfriend...in the treehouse...and the school video about the bunnies.

SS memories: *** SS 91 - Marking the FUCK out when everyone's favorite hero Hulk Hogan got shafted courtesy of my WCW hero Ric Flair, and he LOST the title. Quote Roddy Piper after the match "It be a dark, dark day in da double-U, double-U Ef". *** 92 - Horrible buildup. Rented the video. *** 93 - Even worse show. Rented video. *** 94 - Terrible main, heels go over??? Backlund wins title, this was surprising. Marked for Owen's fake turn shenanigans, but the match itself was very slow. Diesel eliminating everyone was fun. I ordered the show just to see 4 guys I marked for (Owen, Neidhart, Diesel, Shawn) all on one team. *** 95 - VERY UNDERRATED and entertaining show, IMO. We saw some different aspects of the WWF. Low undercard got a big match. Heels and Faces put together in a "Wildcard" match. Japanese ladies embarassed Madusa's team. Great Bret/Diesel match. Taker squashes everyone. *** 96 - IMO, one of the best Pay Per View events WWF ever produced. *** 97 - On my birthday, so missed it...got a tape the next day...something about Bret Hart or something... *** 98, watched this with friends. Marked out for The Rock taking it. Kinda knew he would tho. Whichever Stooge hit Austin with the chair during the good mankind/Austin match RUINED IT. Worst chair shot ever puts down Austin. RIGHT. *** 99 - Watched it, terrible. *** 00 - Watched it, terrible. *** 01 - First SS for me at college. Was marking out for The Alliance although obviously it was a lost cause. Okay show. *** 02 - Missed it, but caught DVD and thought "excellent show". Survivor Series 2002, after giving it 2 years, is TERRIBLE. Trish/Victoria is awful. Opening 6-man tables match is terrible. Show/Lesnar is fun. Elim. Chamber is long, prodding, and boring. Smackdown 6 3-way tag was decent, but WAY dissapointing. Kidman/Noble is underrated, IMO. *** 03 - Watched it at bar, hot crowd there, it was amazing to watch first time. Got DVD. Shane/Kane sucks. Vince/Taker sucks. Opening Elim match is not that good, but not horrible. Team Bischoff Vs. Team Austin is AMAZING, one of 2003's top matches. There's like, maybe ONE (if that) rest hold the entire match. All action. Surprising ending. Shitty/slow main event.
