Yay! Another OVW "talent"!
-
It's not an unprettier, JR, it's just an inverted DDT.

Have reviews really been that bad? The one's I've seen have been somewhat mixed, but the worst review I read had the film at around two stars (out of the standard 4), which isn't great but it's not as if it got totally panned. I've seen a fair share of decent to good reviews of the flick, and the people in the theater when I saw the film seemed to enjoy it. I'd like to see this become a franchise as well. It has greater potential. While I'd never fork over money to see such a film, I must admit that Lindsey Lohan is looking very doable these days. And the film has Lacey Chabert in it as well, who I've wanted to defile for quite some time now.

But it WAS a nice ass, whoever it belonged to.

I finally decided not to buy the game. It's just too involved, and I'm happy with my EWR games as they are. And, of course, I already spent the money I had allocated to TEW on porno. ........ ......well, I did. Don't give me that look. I decided I'd rather have the porn.

Is the guy Inoki wants to bring in to work for New Japan? Or am I just confusing this guy with some other freakshow?
-
Ouch. I thought Punisher would do better than that. I thought it'd at least pull in 20 million or so.
-
Just thought I'd add this: If they're really going to make a half-dozen tv movies, I do hope one of them involves Angel and the gang beating the ever-loving shit out of the Slayers.
-
Okay, a couple things. 1. Since "apocalypse" has sort of been the theme of Angel, it makes perfect sense to kill off so many of the cast. One does not go through Armageddon with a low death toll. Okay, well, Buffy did that with their series finale (what, all of TWO major characters died? We know Spike was going to sacrifice himself, and outside of Anya - who's death was incredibly sad, not in the emotional sense of the word, but in the sad = LAME sense of the word - the only deaths were Slayers who we had no connection to), and well, frankly, Buffy's finale sucked balls. My point is: if they're going to have an all out battle with the Senior Partners, who've only been built up more or less since season one, they might as well show that there are some serious repercussions from the conclusion of the war, i.e. multiple deaths. Oh, and I still don't get the Lorne thing. Is he a villain now? A badass? Or has he just decided "You guys are assholes now, which has made me an asshole too, so I'm hitting the bricks and leaving you losers for Vegas."
-
Goddamn. Sometimes Israel gives me SUCH a hard-on.
-
Okay, after reading those spoilers, I have to ask one question: What's the deal with Lorne?
-
You know, as much as I don't really care about either man at this point, I can't even fathom the logic of moving A-Train and Rhyno to RAW to....well, pretty much do nothing at this point, when Smackdown is in dire need of credible heels and both men could easily fit well into the midcard / upper midcard in that role.

The alternative is Kerry. Any misgivings we have about Bush, Kerry's at least TWICE as awful in our eyes. And it works the same in reverse for your end.

Holly is much worse. For the same reasons that others have already mentioned. I can at least appreciate what they're TRYING to do with Bradshaw, and he was given an interesting (not necessarily entertaining, but interesting) new character / gimmick to go along with his push. They're TRYING to make him seem like he's important. I never got that from Holly. When Holly came back to feud with Brock, he was just Bob "Hardcore" Holly - maybe a little angrier than normal, but ultimately he was the same old boring Bob Holly I've grown to be completely apathetic towards.
-
How dare you make lite of that. As Mike has documented time and time again, those jokes - as well as the tax cuts - are responsible for the deaths of THOUSANDS. How DARE you make fun of that tragedy. What's next, got any good 9/11 jokes you want to share with us?

Here's the thing about being an ex-president - you're fucking set for life. It doesn't matter if you get one term or not, you win either way. You pretty much get to chill out in your nice little presidential library and go around the country making public speeches for tens of thousands of dollars a pop. If I was Bush, and I lost - I wouldn't even dream of running again. I'd enjoy my early retirement and go drink tequila down in my Texas ranch.

Saw it today. Overall, a good movie. But I left disappointed. See, I've read the Punisher comics, and I can say....there was way too LITTLE violence in this film to really call itself "The Punisher". I understand why they didn't use more, and what they did do was done well......they actually had Castle outsmart his foes rather than just immediately blow them away....but still, I left disappointed. Good flick; I'd like to see a sequel. But for my money, Hellboy is the better comic-book movie.

You know, they've been looking for a reason to bring back Dennis Knight. Well, here we have it: the Master Baiter. Think of it as Naked Mideon, only much, much more disturbing.
-
Just personal curiosity - does this apply as well to Bush and his National Guard service?
-
Is this supposed to be some great revelation? The same could be said of liberals about conservative programming. Liberals mock conservative talk show hosts all the time, viciously. Is it deserved? Who knows? Who cares? Each political persuasion denegrates the other side's media.

I have no idea where the Jeb Bush idea started, but I can tell you that not even the most insane Republicans would think of nominating him for 2008. I'm not sure who will get picked. People throw Rice's name out, but I find that silly too, because no matter how much we like to pretend that we've come a long way in this country, the chances of America voting a black woman into the White House can be summed up in three words: slim and none. If I had to pull names out of my ass, I suppose that people would consider McCain again (although he's acting a little too much like a RINO these days to really count on support from the base). I think Bill Frist would maybe have a shot. Rudy Guiliani is another possibility. And who knows? Maybe someone will actually convince Powell to give it a go. But Jeb Bush? Naw. No one's that crazy.

Yes, how dare they exercise their democrat right to vote for whomever they please. Damn those capitulators!. I wasn't talking about Spain, actually, but now that you bring them up, they're quite the good example. Yes, I believe that if there is a terrorist attack in one of the other Euro countries, then they'll pussy out exactly as the Spanish did. They can afford to act brave now. We'll see their true colors once the shit really goes down.
-
They updated THIS piece of shit? Christ, why bother?
-
I wish I could live on Planet Optimism like you do. There's a reason that the show is being cancelled - it's been consistently pulling in bad numbers for a while now.

That joke is OLD. I first heard Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling tell that joke.
