The judge, obviously, isn't an idiot, so he knows that's just a really pathetic attempt by the WWE to keep things in limbo, which is to say, keep Brock in legal limbo and try and still bleed him dry with legal costs. I really don't see this going well for the WWE. Best case scenario for them is that Brock can't work in North America for a competitor (i.e. TNA), but I doubt they'll get that much. Brock's probably going to win this one.

For some reason, I want "Four Kings" to fail miserably. I'm not sure why. About "Emily's Reasons": wasn't there some controversy surrounding that? As in it was greenlit and produced sort of without the higher ups being aware of how bad it was? I thought I heard something about that. As in, it was just really atrocious, but the execs didn't know that, and didn't realize it was so awful until after the first episode, at which the ABC head honchos had a WTF moment and cancelled it outright.

BPS and Zack are 100% correct, the Observer NEVER said that it was a choice between Jericho or Sting and they went with Sting. NEVER. NOT ONCE. I hate all of these American auto companies for being fucking morons and not having any forethought to realize that, with energy prices on the rise (something which has been ongoing for YEARS now, it's not a more recent trend), maybe it wasn't such a bright idea to roll out endless variations of the SUV or mammoth truck every single year. Start making more vehicles with better fuel efficiency, and maybe more people will buy your products again.

As much as I'd like to see Rey win (and no offense, Rey fans, but I probably wouldn't be at this point if there were better options), I still think it will be Orton. From a logical standpoint, if they still plan on pushing Orton as main event level heel, they just about have to have him feud with Angle over the belt. Every other feud for him is exhausted, except maybe Orton vs. Rey, and if we see Orton vs. Rey at Mania, that will lead us only with the horrible likelihood of Angle / Undertaker at Mania. I doubt they'll have HHH win. What purpose would that serve? The Rumble is for elevating guys, and HHH is the last (or next to last, second only to Taker) guy on the roster that needs that. Also, it's fairly well established, i.e. beaten like the dead horse that it is, that HHH can challenge for the belt pretty much any damn time he wants, without having to win something like a Rumble match to do it.

It is startling how superior TCM is to the other 'movie classics' channel, AMC. AMC is just awful. They might as well steal TBS' old tagline of "movies for guys who like movies", because some of the shit I'm seeing listed on AMC's schedule would have fit right in with the cheese TBS used to show all the time before it went mostly comedy reruns. I mean, hate to tell you, AMC, but "Species" is NOT a classic film.

Count me in as somebody who will be PISSED if Veronica Mars doesn't stay. Gilmore Girls, though, I could give a shit. It was a rather amusing joke made by KOAB after the infamous "Orton killed Undertaker with Eddie's lowrider" segment a couple months back. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Stamford today. I bet Vince is going through the fucking ROOF over this. I don't think that Smackdown will be cancelled / dropped, considering that even at the 3.0s (actually a little bit higher, but you know) it gets, it's one of the highest rated programs for either network.....but you never know. Certainly, any chance that the WWE had at getting a better deal out of UPN is out the window, because it's not as if the WB is going to be there for Vince to threaten taking his show to the competition. UPN - sorry, "CW" - will basically be the ones dictating to the WWE how things are going to be, and they're just going to have to take it.

Oh man. Someone get this guy some TPBs of Gotham Central. Of these three, I'd choose Brubaker. Quality writer who hasn't been responsible for some of Marvel's dumbest shit in recent years (i.e. Bendis). I like Millar's work on Ultimates and other books, but some of the stuff he's done in the past ("Wanted", for example) has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have to agree with Bruiser Chong, you guys haven't seen enough movies. Here's one for you: "Feeding the Masses", which is a Shock-o-Rama film. It's about zombies. Holy shit, you think ROTLD 4 & 5 are bad? I've seen both ROTLD 4 & 5, and they are masterpieces compared to this pile of shit. When the best compliment someone can give you is "It's sort of like 'The Dead Next Door'," you're really in fucking trouble, seeing as The Dead Next Door was one of the most godawful horror / zombie films I've ever seen, but at least they had the excuse of shooting on Super 8 with a budget only in the thousands. This turd is even worse than Dead Next Door. It's not even really good for laughs. Looking at Shock-o-Rama's website, everything they put out seems like it will be equally as bad. It's like someone wanted to make a third-rate Troma, only without the quirky charisma & tongue-in-cheekness that Troma possesses. Apparently Shock-o-Rama makes their money on Misty Mundae and her softcore porn scenes in their movies.
