  1. I remember watching that tape, and I don't think Flair vs. Dibiase is on it. Cawthon's site says the same thing.
  2. So he can become the first Grand Slam Champion (World, IC, Tag, EC). Yeah, I know, he couldn't have waited until they got back to the US. Meltzer said in the Bret Hart screwjob stuff that the decision was last second and Bulldog was told that it was to build to a bigger confrontation in early 1998 in Bulldog's hometown where he would go over.
  3. Feel free to use pictures to back up your claims. I'll start with Giant Gonzalez:
  4. My fav off the top of my head is KOTR 96, though I'd have to watch them all again.
  5. Added some more tapes, check them out!
  6. Not a match, but here's the old Austin/Pillman gun angle: http://s13.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=14ZE1A8...DM3MYFPEET7NBUA
  7. What did he mean here?
  8. The huge Smokin Gunns foam hats in "Someone Bought This?" made me laugh my ass off.
  9. Between that and the Worm, these finishers fucking suck.
  10. OMG! SHOW GONNA GET KURT! Aw, just more big tittied bitches.
  11. Agreed. It's so stupid.
  12. Anyone else think Big John should wear something than other than the red speedo? Tough to look like a badass in that.
  13. A sign says "Carlito Caribbean Chump". OH, SNAP! YOU GOT HIM WITH THAT ZINGER!
  14. Wow that was lame too.
  15. God I hated that fucking finish.
  16. Nothing. The article, however, is just more shit paving the way for when Rob opens another indy promotion again, because he'll say that he can get guys jobs with the WWE, so they should work for him. If you don't read this as a "three cheers for Rob" article, I think you're missing something.
  17. This whole article is meant to be a "Rob Feinstein has stroke in the business and is GREAT!" type thing. Yay for the pedophile.
  18. http://www.indyinsider.com/tr/UltimateX.wmv Right click, save as. Good stuff, man. EDIT: Actually was it Ultimate X6? Oh well.
  19. This tournament is shaping up to be must see.

  23. PWInsider.com is reporting that Vince Russo is working on two projects right now: (This is from the elite section, not on the main page as far as I know) The first would be like Ted Dibiase's PWA, which would mix wrestling with religious themes. Few details are available yet, but they report that Sinister Minister would play a Satan heel gimmick in this promotion. This is interesting because Jim Mitchell (Minister) is a devout atheist so it would be weird for him to be involved with a religious wrestling promotion. Russo has been in contact with many people from WWE and TNA, apparently, so we will hear more soon. Russo was also in California (he appeared at the SCCW independent show this weekend) with Wade Keller of the PWTorch.com pitching a TV show idea to someone from FOX or USA. The show would apparently be wrestling related and they don't know if it would be a show or a wrestling promotion, but think it might be a new promotion that they are trying to get on TV. Also involved in this meeting was Ian Rotten and JR Benson. I have no idea what's going on here, but it's stuff to keep an eye on...
  24. I enjoyed it. They obviously had to develop the "characters" of the main players in the show so the audience has other stuff to follow. But I thought it was decent, and I'm kind of interested to see how it goes the rest of the season, though I wish they'd stay away from more of the stupid Real World-ish stuff as time goes on.
  25. Probably, but I never got the Hogan DVD so I don't know for sure.
