And I'm sure Scott Hall will stay on the straight and narrow and not screw up again [/sarcasm] -
An open letter to Linda McMahon

They're going to kill the EC with overuse. Something like that should be once a year or less...this will be the second one in 9 months. And I don't think they need new gimmick matches as much as they need guys who can work good matches. Less Big Show, more Spanky. -
Will the 03 Tigers break the 62 Met's loss record?
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Sports
Great idea...piss Juan off, then move the fences in when you have no one left to hit home runs. When Bobby Higginson has Juan behind him he was doing great. With any kind of homerun threat batting next the pitchers had to pitch to Bobby, and he did well. Now he's still a good player, but between not caring and having no one else on a team his numbers are in the crapper. -
I'll give it a shot.

I'm pretty much with you, man. Although this will do no good. And Test's acting was Brandolike compaired to Chyna's "neck injury" a while back. -
Wow...not one match I'd like to see.

Make that 31-94... The owner (who also owns the Red Wings) made coaches out of former Tigers that the fans really really like. So Alan Trammell, Lance Parish, and Kirk Gibson are still well liked by fans, so fans are not going to turn on them that quickly. Owners should take more blame for a crap team then the manager...Trammell just has nothing to work with. -
Not a Denzel fan. But I'm all for Morgan Freeman. He's usually good.

Yeah, and cause of that she wasn't any good. Although Xander and Willow matured pretty good on the show.

Cause "Iris" was a big lovey hit...no more reason then that really. Like I said, I normally like Blender, but sometimes they do stuff like this for their own amusement rather then cause it's accurate.

Cordy just seemed to stop being Cordy around Angel season 2...didn't care for her after that.

Finally been completly confirmed. from tvshowsondvd.com ------------------------------- Official Announcement confirms specs, adds extras 8/20/2003 Our release listing and our previous news for Married... with Children - The Complete 1st Season has been 100% confirmed with Columbia Home Entertainment's announcement for the set this week, which was quietly included in their overall DVD release plans for October. The October 28th date has been confirmed, as has the $29.95 price in the USA for the 2-disc set (Canadians can expect a list price of CAN$41.95, according to our sources). Additionally, Columbia has announced that there will be supplements included besides the already-known bonus trailers. The info can be found in their short blurb about the release: The dysfunctional fun continues with the complete first season of "Married.with Children," the off-beat comedy that changed the face of TV family sitcoms forever, available on DVD for the first time! -Nominated for 7 Golden Globe Awards between 1991 and 1994! -2-disc set with all 13 episodes! -Stars Christina Applegate! -Reunion special was watched by a record 20 million viewers! -Bonus material and trailers! The exact nature of the bonus material is still under wraps, but it's exciting that it will be there. The cover art provided is identical to the one in our previous news release, so the only other thing we don't have is an official running time (figure it will fall in at around 300-ish minutes, since it was a short first season). Getting Married...with Children (along with Battlestar Galactica and The Incredible Hulk) on DVD is the reason why I'm here helping Gord every day, and will continue to be: I joined TVShowsOnDVD to help get releases just like this one. I hope you're as excited as I am to finally be getting this hilarious show in season sets. "Thank your studio, kids". "THANKS, COLUMBIA!!" - David

18 Aug 2003 Carpenter Speaks About Angel Charisma Carpenter, who won't be returning as a regular cast member on The WB's Angel, spoke for the first time about her abrupt departure in an interview with the Boston Herald and said she was as shocked as anyone. "I was not prepared," Carpenter told the newspaper. "I don't think you're ever prepared for that kind of situation." Carpenter played the acid-tongued Cordelia Chase for three years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer before moving over to The WB's spinoff series. "Seven years, that's a long time," she said. "I started that show. To not be finishing it is a pretty big deal for me. They went back to work on July 24. ... On that day I thought, 'Oh, today is officially my first day of unemployment.'" Last spring, Carpenter returned to Angel just 10 days after giving birth to her son, Donovan, and spent two long days on the set, wrapping up the season, the newspaper reported. She said she is absolutely willing to return to the series to provide closure to her character's story arc and bring Cordy out of the coma in which she remained during last season's finale. "I think it would be incomplete if it wasn't addressed but I don't know what's being planned," she said. "I haven't heard anything. As we speak today, there are no plans for me to come back." --------------------------------- found this, thought I'd pass it along
