Firstly, the only true "key" to winning a World Series is by getting four victories before the other team. There is no one method that works everytime, otherwise, all the teams in the MLB would look roughly the same. Furthermore, farm systems aren't a punched ticket to the play-offs. Seattle? Montreal? Its great to have a thick farm system to pull from, but the Yankees can dip their ladle in the rest of the league. When you're an upper echelon team like the Yankees, Red Sox, etc... your fans expect you to win now, not in 8 years.

I'm okay with GBA being played at Yankee Stadium and Shea, seeing as how they're extra relevant, but its time for it to go everywhere else.

Wow... Oregon is really haunted. I think I might have to go check a few of these places out. I've spent a few hours alone at night in Lithia Park in Ashland, and I didn't experience any sort of "haunted" feeling.

Just played in another homegame tonight. The group I play with has been shifting more towards ring games than tournament. I like the ring game more, better risk/reward ratio I think. You guys like ring or tourny better?

Yahoo News Story Memphis, Tenn. - Anthony Anderson, the rotund comedic co-star of "Kangaroo Jack" and the original "Barbershop," has been arrested and charged with aggravated rape while shooting a movie. The 33-year-old actor was accused by an unidentified woman of luring her into a trailer on the set of his latest movie, "Hustle & Flow," and sexually assaulting her. Also accused is the film's assistant director, Wayne Witherspoon. Both men were charged on Wednesday after being taken into custody by the Shelby County Sheriff's Department. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Shelby County Correctional Center, a penal farm on the outskirts of Memphis, where filming was under way for the movie. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Shular said a passer-by heard screams coming from the trailer and opened the door. "And she ran out nude," Shular said. Both suspects were released Wednesday evening after posting $20,000 bond each. Anderson's spokesman, Allan Mayer, who specializes in celebrity crisis cases, told The Associated Press his client "absolutely denies the heinous charges." "Anthony is a happily married family man who has never been accused of — no less involved in — anything remotely like this, and we are confident that when all the facts come out, he will be completely exonerated," Mayer said. Mayer said it's unclear whether Anderson will return to work on the movie, but said he will likely remain in the Memphis area for the time being. A representative for Witherspoon, 42, could not immediately be located. Anderson, who's married with two children, was raised in Compton, Calif., and has appeared in an array of comedies, including playing one of Jim Carrey (news)'s illegitimate genius sons in 2000's "Me, Myself & Irene." The roly-poly actor specializes is physical comedy — often at his own expense. I smashed pretty much everyone I played at College playing Texas Hold 'Em. I play once or twice a week now that I'm home, I actually just made $10 in a ring game earlier tonight.

I've had some grey hairs mixed in with the rest of the black ones since I was in Middle School or so, the number hasn't ever really grown, I don't think its that big of a deal. I think they're just a little more noticable because of the contrast with the black hair.

I'd like to see a Hip Hop-esqe tour consisting of all the hip-hop acts I havn't seen yet that I really want to... Saul Williams, The Roots, Slum Village, Latyrx, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Cunning Linguists, RJD2, Swollen Members come to mind right now... I'm sure theres a shitload I'm neglecting to mention.
