I think Bret Boone is a FA after this year, so I could see Seattle signing Arron to play SS as incentive for Bret to stay. The Orioles are taking a look at Boone to, with the situation at 3rd (Mora) it could be worth looking into for next year.

I put Ford on IL and originally picked up Damon Jones, and then I saw on ESPNews where Sam Cassell is hurt and Troy Hudson scored 29 vs the Nets. So, maybe Cassell sits a couple days and I get some starts from Hudson and then I move on, we'll see.

My mother just had similar neck surgery to what wrestlers have been having. The only thing I hate is when she calls and wants me to go get her something because she still cant drive. About once every other day, and it never fails that I end up getting the wrong thing.

Watching Smackdown, I don't know exactly what was wrong with Rikishi, but from the looks of things he landed akwardly taking the Clothesline (like he does) and it might be anything from a hip (what Im thinking) to a leg or knee injury.

Arroyo scored 16 points and 6 assists tonight. A very good pickup for me considering: 1) I dropped Morris Peterson for him, who is doing absolutely nothing on a team that is depleted by injuries. I kept Peterson after Carter got hurt hoping that he would step it up, and except for one game last week, hes done little to nothing. I will miss his 3 pointers but hes too inconsistent everywhere else. 2) TJ Ford is out for at least 2 weeks, but I picked up Arroyo before I found out that Ford was injured. With Ford out, although I don't lose much points wise, I do lose a good chunk of my assists. Arroyo picks up that slack and scores some more points as well. Im hoping Ford goes IL so I can pick up someone else, as I really don't want to drop him, but if he doesn't go IL I might have to.

I actually heard a rumor a couple seconds ago about the Ravens possibly trying to 1 up the Redskins by trading Chris McAlister to the Broncos for Portis although I question it because I keep hearing that Portis for Bailey is a done deal. McAlister got tagged as a Franchise player and will make at least 7 million and is probably just as good if not better than Bailey. But honestly, I doubt it will happen since theres no way to know by the draft whether Jamal will get a suspension or not and trading for Portis and Jamal not getting suspended would be insane.

For me, Im having a hard time figuring out whether the show was canceled by the network or just ended too early. As for one of the only shows on that list, Homicide: Life on the Street, I think its on a cable network. I want to say A&E since they are the ones releasing the DVD sets but Im not sure. Season 4 of 7 comes out next month. As for shows I liked that got canceled, I gotta be the only one to have actually watched Push Nevada because I liked it. I think the majority of people (small number) watched it just because of the money giveaway.

Unless theres some sort of miracle, Im figuring on the NFL Suspending Jamal for the whole year based on what I've been hearing. Musa Smith to the rescue!

If satellite Radio could lock up a deal with Howard Stern, Im fairly sure they could get away with murder on it. I mean, theres a playboy channel on one of the services. Satellite radio doesnt need as much ad revenue because they charge $10 a month. If a big name personality like Stern got a show on Satelite radio service, it would be a huge sucess for that service because Im willing to bet there are still people who want to hear the show even if the Radio Stations they have wont air it. Stern could still do the regular syndicated show and then have a special 1 hour uncensored after the show (or replace an hour) on the Satellite. I don't know how many people subscribe to a sat radio service but Im willing to bet the number would at least double as soon as Stern signed with one of them. People always complain about how Clear Channel is running everything and how radio sucks, but from what I hear, people like Sat radio (both XM and Sirius). Heck, Id be sold on the fact that there are no blackout restrictions on Sports games on the Sat Radio services. Sirius has all 4 sports.. but I digress..

well hell, I forgot he was suspended for 4 games in 2001 for being a repeate violator of the substance abuse policy (the same season he missed the whole year because of the torn ACL). So its possible that he could get suspended the whole year based on it being at least his 3rd run in. Digging further back, he was arrested when he was 18 for shoplifting at a Macy's Dept Store. This is going to trial, although not any time soon and Jamal is going to turn himself in tomorrow and get bail.
