Agreed. But UT was portrayed as being weak the entire month, with his hand being broken and the victim of several attacks. Id say its the cleanest youd get with the UT. But the community knew that he was injured before going into the match and had to spend some time of TV, so we knew he wouldnt win it. I remember the hand playing a large part in that match.

Magnus, I dont get what you mean by calling the order. Its not really that applicable in a KotM. :S AJ has to win. He needs a long reign, since hes lost too much credibility by getting shafted in the past. This is the match to build towards AJ/Raven and JJ/Monty. I agree with everybody regarding Daniels. I can see him as being the first double champion. Shane and Sabin arent that hot a workers. They have worked enough together and will gang up on Daniels who will prevail victorious. I think the Naturals will return, even though Team Canada will give them a good run for their money. Were approaching the stage of a Tag Team Tournay in TNA. I dont think AMW will turn completely. AMW will turn full blown heel at No Surrender, but I think them and Naturals with a gimmick has been to done to death so far. Daniels vs Red is a good idea, pending the outcome of the 6 way. I think we would see Joe vs Siaki vs Apolo. TNA always like to include a 3-way on their cards, with mutual respect all round and the forming of a stable.

IMHO Austin symbolises the man who is alienated with life and takes matters into his own hands. This creates a person who is drunk with power and believes that he can make and take things as he wishes. He fights for himself and therefore does fight for other people, that is those people who are alienated with life as well (such as work). He wasnt open minded. Everybody knew that he was going to end up kicking Hassan ass. I like your angle but it means that you will be blurring the lines. I know that wrestling should not be black and white but I feel that this would go over some people, like why are Cena and HHH beating up Hassan TOGETHER. It would also need Lawler (good grief) to be sympathetic with Hassan. I still think the best way to go was for him to state that he is an American and prove how he is being discriminated against. Not play that blasted music, wear stereotypical clothes and have Davari spout off. He should have been an avenging angle of sorts, showing that not all Arab-Americans are the same.

Its a shame, because if a number of people switched their TV off then that means lower ratings, which is what Vince is out to get (i.e. the ratings). Lower ratings means slower business, means lower profits and share prices. Vince should care about ratings, but unfortunately, he couldnt care less.

Remember when Batista was a heel and mouthing off to Austin? He was the only guy on the show who wasn't afraid of Austin, except maybe HHH but Hunter would get beat down by Austin's now-rusty offense anyways. The problem is that he's booked stronger than Hulk Hogan in his prime. He went over the entire SmackDown roster prior to WMXX because the whole group of something like 30 guys didn't want to mess with him. At the ECW show he ordered a whole bunch of upper and ME level guys including Angle and Edge and JBL to come to the ring or else he'd go up there and beat them all up by himself. Austin needs to get punked out big time and THEN, and only then, get off TV. I don't care if there's no official match because he's too injured to take any wrestling moves, they can just have a prop-heavy beatdown segment instead. I think it'd be alright if, one night on Raw, a younger wrestler challenges Austin, takes the opening smacks and kicks and stomps into the corner, then comes back and just starts annihilating him. They can do prop object bumps and slamming him into the post/stairs or whatever since I know he can't take a chairshot or anything. Have him blade himself open like a mess and be left in the ring for dead with blood all over the mat to end the show. The next week, say he was taken to the hospital and then never mention him ever again, except maybe the occasional Lonely Road style history video. Austins stale. Ban him from TV. All the WWE had to do was show vignettes of people of different races getting treated in the same way, and then Hassans friends and family getting treated differently. This has been said before. Then Hassan comes out the 1st time, without the stereotypical music and sidekick and says, I am an American and proud to be a membmer of this country, but. . . they should have least given him a chance with that, and see how people reacted. On another point, a wrestler portraying a character to earn money should never be critiscised for doing his job, unless he goes overboard with it (a la Austin).

Theyve dropped the ball with Hassan. For 2 reasons: (1) I am sure that some Arab-Americans have been mistreated in the US. (2) He is an Arab-AMERICAN. I like the way the GMs are keeping the trades back. Id hate to think that Flair would be wasted by a lottery name.
