I agree... Michaels needed the win last night against Edge. It wasn't like it made Edge look back, it just made Michaels look ever more "legendary". Randy Orton looking at the magazine was classic and in my opinion a cool way to set up the feud. With HBK, and now Billy Graham telling him he's gotta reach higher and make himself something special, not wait around for it... it's a good set-up in the works. (as good as WWE gets anyway) No Christian really sucked becaus he's the reason I normally watch. Do you think the Irish Whip was actually a screw up by Hassan? When watching, at first I thought it was.. but on a second viewing.. I thought he did it on purpose.. it looked rather unique. The ending was disappointing.. but honestly.. how many people actually expected Benoit to smash his head off a ring-bell? Not me. I think the camera men should of done a bit better job on that move. Although Masters is plain, boring, and sucky in the ring... I'll admit to my guilty pleasure of LOVING his theme. His music rocks. Not as good as Paul London's or even Hassans. But good either way. 6-Man ladder match. I'm not quite sure who will be involved, but this is my guess... RAW only - Jericho, Christian, Benoit, Edge, Hassan, Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Maven are the possible candidates for me. RAW/SD - Jericho, Benoit, Christian(or Benjamin) v. Kidman(Or Haas), Rey, Eddie. This is the card however, that I expect off RAW last night. World Championship HHH v. Batista WWE Championship JBL v. Cena Kurt Angle v. Shawn Michaels No Disqualification The Undertaker v. Randy Orton The card is variable from here... you could either get Plan A or Plan B. Plan A. RAW Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match Chris Jericho v. Chris Benoit v. Matt Hardy v. Christian v. Shelton Benjamin v. Edge Mohammed Hassan v Kane *Dont expect Matt Hardy v Kane, if the real life breakup of Lita and Matt is true *Have Hassan complain that he isn't in the high profile ladder match.. (Heat or WM Mach) RAW Tag Titles - William Regal & Tajiri v. La Resistance v. Team Superhero Smackdown (Heat or WM Match) Smackdown Tag Titles The Bashams v. MNM v. Charlie Haas and Hardcore Holly (possibly add the Dudleyz, if they return). Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio (in either a Respect match or a Hate match.. although hard to pick the heel). WWE Cruiserweight Championship Paul London v. Chavo Guerrero Plan B. Inter-Promotional Ladder Match Benoit, Jericho, Christian v. Eddie, Rey, Kidman (or Booker) RAW Kane vs Edge Shelton Benjamin vs Mohammed Hassan RAW Tag Titles (same pairings as last time) Smackdown Smackdown Tag Titles (same pairs) WWE Cruiserweight Championship Paul London v. Chavo Guerrero Mark Jindrak v. Luther Reigns ______________________________ Wow after looking that over, I definately hope they go with plan A. Either way we have a huge number of "Talents" left off each show. Hopefully WWE goes with a quick ass Battle Royal, lasting around 5-8 minutes (I know its quick.. but it will be painless pleasure of having the lower guys on the card) Big Show, Masters, the cruiserweights, Venis, Booker... it won't be great.. but either Big Show could win... or you could continue Masters' push and let him dump Show to win, somehow. Or just let Hogan and Piper come down and kick all their asses hahaha. I donno, like 4 weeks away from Mania and my card is pretty much thrown together speculation... GREAT job on making people want to order WWE...

'the olympic hero' Kurt Angle v. 'the heartbreak kid' Shawn Michaels Shawn Michaels will go over, I believe. But, Kurt Angle should go over. Angle can still give the rub for many years.. and it looks as though Michaels won't give the rub to many people. Of course, both are still fantastic workers, and I really dont care who goes over because either way I'm hoping to see a good match. 'the legend' The Undertaker v. 'the legend killer' Randy Orton Randy Orton SHOULD and WILL go over here. This match should be like the Triple H/Taker match at Wrestlemania 17 was it? Except in the finish, Orton should hit the RKO and get the 1,2,3. To me, that makes all the sense in the world.. and Orton is definately warrant of the Taker job.
-
haha yeah.. but he was on at least 4 or 5 more.. at least..
-
I know he's bee on at least 5 or 6... but could anyone tell me all the DVD's he's appeared on and in what capicity.
-
Even Christy Hemme will get more time than the cruiserweights...
-
Rave's push isn't pointless... He can draw very good heat... He can wrestle in the ring... He can involve the crowd... He can do flashy moves... He plays a great heel... He has good charisma... What is so wrong about the push other then he's a great performer?...
-
AWESOME.. hahaha... if that goes down.. I'd die of laughter...
-
give it more time then the cruiserweights, and I'm never watching WWE again.
-
To Slimm.. did the Victory Road DVD have the Free-For-All Match(es) included?
-
If so, how is the special features?
-
If its 5 Hours... please give London/Chavo 15 minutes... I'll order ever WWE PPV for the rest of the year if they get 15+!!!
-
Nitro was in two matches I believe during his stay... World Title Battle Royal as well as a match against Eugene... neither involved him long, possibly like 30 seconds and 3 minutes. No way to tell he's skills.
-
Yeah the last match of the evening is the Main Event... well what about Wrestlemania 11... Bam Bam vs that football guy...... ugh.
-
I second Wrestlemania 9, for all the reasons stated above. Fall Brawl 1997... isn't really underrated, but nothing is ever said about it period. All the matches, except one passed the 10 minute mark, which is a rarity in PPVs. Most matches were great, actually minus a terrible tag Stall fest (Hall/Savage v. Luger/DDP) and the only match under 10 minutes, Giant vs Norton. Jericho/Eddy, Wright/Dragon, and War Games are all bordering **** territory. Great American Bash 1995 isn't all that bad either. Savage v. Flair is fun and Pillman v. Wright tops the card around ****... not a great PPV, but not bad.

I personally like London's new look. The first time I was like "wtf".. but now.. I like it. I liked the light blue and the white that London wore.. but this fine as well.

Christian right now, is my second favourite wrestler of course behind the smark loved, Paul London. I can honestly my favourite moment of RAW is watching Christian's entrance. That is PURE brillance.. from the song, to the entrance gear, to the actions he does... the guy is phenomenal. Christian is also always coming up with fresh material.. he's promo's are always entertaining. He can be serious, funny, or both at the same time. He can play Angry very well and can pull off a very good face and as soon right now, an exceptional heel. His character wouldn't need too much tweaking in my opinion, and with RRR's idea.. he wouldn't need any tweaking beyond that. Christian's silliness is fun.. it's not overtop like JBL's (which I happen to enjoy sometimes)... and it's not underused like some people. Humour is always good in my books, when things make me laugh.. it's a good thing. I absolutely hate when people say long, blooded feuds should NEVER involve stupid humour... because frankly if you look around the world we live in.. embarassing or making fun of someone you dislike, hate, or feud with in real life is one of your main goals. You of course wanna beat the shit out of them, but you'll get your chance.. so what better to do then make a fool out of them? To me, making someone look stupid is more realistic then just yelling back and forth for a few weeks. All this makes me think Christian would be a Perfect Main Eventer.. and I would defiantely pay to seem him Main Event. His entrance would make the match *** alone, haha. To me, Orton had the third or forth best singles match of his career last night, with hardly any building up. (I also enjoyed Benoit v. Orton, Benjamin v. Orton, and RVD v. Orton... Flair v. Orton was good too.. but not in the same way.. the only match I can say that Christian's wasn't quite up to par with was Benoit's, but look at the length of the feud behind that).. It was becasue of Christian. Christian can make anyone look good, and he actually made the RKO look relatively good for once. Christian is a catch, and IMO.. should be pushed hard. A Christian/Edge v. Benoit/Jericho match? I'm totally for this. I know alot of people wanna see Benoit vs Jericho.. but this match, given some good time could rival the match from Final Resolution (Team Canada vs AMV). It could be just as hot from the crowd, as good as a brawl, and more technically sound.. making it a better match. Hot pinfalls.. a good story.. and obvious good selling from Benoit and Christian. Oh and Christian defiantely stole the Basic Instinct spoof.. he OWNED that. So after reviewing everything, Christian has what it takes. His humour is great, but seriousness is just as good. His ring attire is awesome, especially compared to the older days. His entrance and music are the best and one of the best in the WWE, respectively. Coming down with a huge ass bodyguard is awesome, and makes it all the better. As for his physique.. I could care less what the guy looks like as long as he can pull off some decent matches, and be entertaining. And while he doesnt have the best physique... it's definately not that bad.
-
What could R-V-D do.. Commentary with Heyman or Tazz would be fine... Maybe Guest Referee a match? Although ECW didn't really do that.... I dunno what RVD could do.. maybe some backstage interviews.. but that looks bad on his part.
-
and 2 of those matches should be good (londonchavo, anglehbk) .. 2 bad(the other two)... and 1 okay(cenajbl) with a decent mark out pop at the end (for regular, casual fans) I'm so glad London is getting pushed:)... Thank you for something WWE. Give them 10+ at the PPV... PLEASE.
-
so London got all 4 eliminations before being eliminated? That looks good for him.. and hopefully will result in a Title win at Wrestlemania. A ladder match between Chavo, London, and Akio would rock my socks off.
-
hhaha aweosme.. im 1 for 1 .. didnt expect that... how was the match quality guys/girls?
-
JBL vs The Big Show: prediction: Big Show vs Cena happened last year.. so it won't happen again. Not to mentino, one more month with JBL as the champ is going to make Cena's win all the more "poparific"... As well.. JBL is a great champ, like him or not, he's entertaining and that's something WWE hasn't had for awhile. JBL wins in about 18 minutes. **1/4 Angle vs Cena prediction: This should be a good match.. as good as their first ever match (I heard its on BTWS 2 DVD.. is that true?)..I dunno.. but it should be alright. Cena and Angle can both work the crowd.. and I actually wouldnt mind seeing some rule bending (as in street fight) here after some nice matwork that would obviously be carried by Angle. Cena had a pretty damn good match with Booker T last week on Smackdown (FINALLY!!) and Angle is a better worker. This Has potential. ***1/2 Undertaker vs Luther Reigns prediction: Wow. The winner is no-one.. this couldn't be any worse. Then agian nothing will be till Taker retires. Luther Reigns is a decent worker for his size.. and his promo kicked all kinds of ass. Jindrak will interfere.. but does it matter? Maybe if Angle, as well as the rest of Smackdown intereferes.. Taker might job?... nah.. Taker wins, easily. * Bashams vs Eddie/Rey prediction: This has potential to be the match of the night. Seriously, the Basham's can work.. and while I hate the WWE Style of theirs.. they can work and with workers like Eddie/Rey it should be good. I'm leaning towards the Bashams after a bit of miscommunication with Eddie/Rey. A Eddie/Rey title win would be pointless (other than the fact that it would call for a rematch at Mania with maybe Jindrak/Reigns and possibly some sort of new team or the Dudleyz) and take a few matches off the card freeing up some space. Actually now that I think of it.. they'll save the Eddie/Rey till after I think.. Eddie/Rey win in a suprise victory. ***1/2 Funaki vs Spike Dudley vs Chavo Guerrero vs Shannon Moore vs Paul London vs Akio prediction: Paul London. This should steal the show. If only Spike was replaced with Kidman, my WWE fantasy would be fulfilled haha. But I'll take what I can get... you know the thing I dont understand is why WWE doesnt give the cruiserweights 10-15 minutes per PPV... I mean if they did the Smart Marks would be happier.. This match has potential and lets hope London or Akio come away with the title.. **** (with time) **1/4 (without time) Booker T vs Heidenreich prediction: Heidenreich. Booker T is pretty useless nowadays.. as is Heidenreich and this match could be any LESS appealing. Heidenreich is entertaining somewhat.. but he still can't wrestle. Booker T is okay at best.. but stale as hell. This match will suck more then Reigns vs Taker. 3/4* Diva search prediction: Joy.. this is such a waste of time.. Why not add Charlie Haas v. Dupree or Charlie Haas v. Kidman and give them 10 minutes.. whatever.
-
Yeah matches will continue to be short, runin filled and meaningless until they get a 2 hour slot..
-
Yeah Batista is more over and what not.. but to me.. Orton is still a better wrestler.
-
awhh well.. hopefully this mean's Sabin and Sharky will get some more time on TV:)
-
This will be a entertaining match for one reason.. I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how they'd finish it... and that to me would be awesome. I love when matches are unpredictable.. and to me... this is.
