  1. 97. Downhome will not weep at the death of Lashley.
  2. I wonder if he and TimeCube are doing anything later; we could go hang out.
  3. Mandel's OCD, so he'd be paranoid. Probably already knows about the Serial Piller, but is doesn't want to show his hand (or briefcase #16 for that matter). I heard that one point KITT was to be played by Mr. Martin Balsam, but he's been dead for yonks, so I don't place much stock in his replacement. Easy money on Mr. Feeney, unless Vader does a run-in.

    SO SEZ :YOU:!
  5. '94 was rather anemic, other than the double winner angle and the origin of "The Diesel Treatment."
  6. I seem to recall early 1994, when Maxx Payne pretty much out and out said he was a face now and started teaming with Cactus Jack.
  7. You bastard-- you beat me to it. KILLER WASPS. FORGOT ABOUT THEM, DIDN'T YOU?!
  8. Hi, did I miss anything?
  9. I wouldn't skip on Piss Bayfire if he was on less.
  10. Damn, I nominated you for THAT? I feel like such a square, man.
  11. I nominate Slayer. (Hey Byron the Bulb, what am I nominating Slayer for again?)
  12. You just know Vader is going to be connected with this somehow.
  13. hbr1.com is a great place to hear stuff.
  14. Briefly had him blocked. Didn't know why. Unblocked. I see no reason to block again.
  15. Doom 2, Level 24. The one where you have to walk on platforms three inches wide.
  16. Yeah, mine too. Go figure. EB Games?
  17. Word on the street is that it's going to be showing up at EB Games (at least in Canada) this week.
  18. No one seems to actually have the game yet, although indications from fireproclub.com are that the Japan saves seem to work with the NTSC version.
  19. "It stinks!"
  20. I forget: am I a gimmick poster or not?

Eighteen minute magnum opuses just seem better suited to live shows than the studio. If Sixty To Zero for example had made it on to "Freedom" in it's full eighteen minute form, it wouldn't have had the same impact as the much tighter Crime In The City incarnation. (Although the longer version didn't excise some of the better verses.)

For me, Ordinary People should have waited until the 300 billion disc Archives set that was supposed to come out at any point over the last twenty years. I prefer the live recording with the Bluenotes from the bootlegs over the new studio version. But Bluebird and Boxcar are from the same era and they sound pretty good as well. I like Dirty Old Man, too.
  23. For that matter, Booker winning the TV title was a bit out of left field.
