"Schism" is their most played single to date, it reached #2 on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, and is their only single to get into the Billboard Hot 100. But really, what does radio play matter? They're still one of the more popular bands around today, with millions of fans, and are a huge influence to more bands than I care to name. Their albums are pretty much guarenteed to go double or triple platinum. And your "Well O-Town went double platinum" stuff is fucking retarded, considering they came out right at the peak of the boy band craze, had a ton of radio play, and had the MTV hype machine putting them all over the channel 24/7, it would have been a near impossibility for them not to go at least double platinum.

Yeah, I don't get that. How does an average WR offset the loss of the best interior lineman in the NFL, and one of the key pieces to Seattle's running game?

Actually, a magazine a few weeks ago (some guitar mag, don't remember he name) reported that Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Matt Sorum all agreed to reunite for the European tour dates, but the attorney for one of them saw some writing in the fine print that if they signed the contract, they turned over all rights of the GnR catalog to Axl. Needless to say, they didnt sign the contract.

Shit man, I like London and Spanky and all, but do they really need to be completely dominating this feud with MNM?

you're wrong. i did originally click on the thread to learn something. it was snuffbox, who on his mighty high horse, was trying to proclaim that anyone who didn't know that tool was still around is an idiot. i merely defended that segment of musical society by saying there are plenty of well rounded musical listeners who probably don't know about tool. or care. and that they shouldn't be critisised because they don't care about the same band that snuffbox seemingly holds so dear. Well, that's fair.
-
What has their feathers so ruffled?
-
One would think that the word "TOOL" in the thread title would tip you off to the fact that there's a high probability of the band being discussed in this thread, thus allowing you to skip it and move onto "more important issues". I guess that makes too much sense though.

Pac Man may be in a little trouble.. Titans | Police and courts: Drug bust in Tennessee Sat, 15 Apr 2006 08:35:41 -0700 Jim Wyatt and Christian Bottorff, of the Tennessean report nine people were arrested on suspicion of having roles in two major drug rings that trafficked cocaine and marijuana in Sumner and Davidson counties in Tennessee. One man, from Nashville, has possible ties to Tennessee Titans CB Adam Jones, authorities said Friday, April 14. Officers seized 1,653 pounds of marijuana, 128 pounds of cocaine, more than 20 vehicles and $608,000, police said. Many of the questions at a news conference surrounded the possible connection to Jones. Davidson County District Attorney Torry Johnson said that Jones is an acquaintance of suspect Darryl Jerome Moore, an aspiring rap singer who was released early last year from federal prison in California. Jones' nickname was embroidered as "Pac Man" on the black leather seats of a 2004 Cadillac XLR, a pricey sports car that authorities confiscated from Moore's apartment. Jones' Nashville attorney, Roger May, said yesterday that the car does not belong to his client, and he said he does not know if Jones ever owned or drove the car. Jones' sports agent, Michael Huyghue, said yesterday that he had advised his client not to comment

Taylor is the kind of guy who would probably be fun to see live, but I wouldn't buy his album. I'd buy Chris' album. Or at least illegaly download it~!

Ace or unfortunately, Elliott, are going next week. Paris should be going soon too, not that she's necessarily bad, but she's just so... blah. She's just kind of there, no real character to her or anything, no style. I don't see her ever being a superstar after this show is over. She'd be lucky to reach a Fantasia level of stardom. I really hope you all are right about people catching onto Kellie's act. If it comes down to her and Taylor or her and Chris, I fear that she'd win, just like Carrie won last year over Bo Bice. Never underestimate the power of stupid hicks.

Oh my, is that hard to just skip over the fucking post? People still care about him - If you don't, then hurray for you. Hopefully you will never be forced to click such a horrible thread again.
