Oh shit - California people.. G'n'R is headlining KROQ Inland Invasion on September 23.
-
Copied and Pasted this from another board - season finale spoilers.
-
Bullshit. Kid Rock has a lot of talent and gets shit on for no real reason. True. Not really.
-
Kid Rock is hated for good reason - he sucks.

Can't wait to see em, stud.

I'm wondering how the Others knew Sawyer's real name is James Ford. Only Locke knew that.

Crappy Basic Cable Channel Lineups
UZI Suicide replied to Celtic Jobber's topic in Television & Film
We have this local station here called KDOC that is ACE. They have an afternoon block that shows Mission: Impossible, Magnum PI, Perry Mason, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and The Twilight Zone. Unfortunately, two episodes of Becker is thrown in the middle of it. But I can change the channel while that is on. -
There's a video of the first Hammerstein show. not great quality but the best available right now. Shows clips of November Rain, My Michelle, Chinese Democracy, There Was A Time and IRS.
-
Nash tried to get too cute right there.
-
Yeah, I pretty much agree with that, which is why I like the idea of RVD winning and then Vince stripping him of the title the next night.

Card subject to change.

Well, Axl made it to the first Hammerstein show tonight, about 45 minutes late, but I guess that's to be expected. Setlist was.. 1. Welcome To The Jungle 2. It's So Easy 3. Mr. Brownstone 4. Better 5. Live And Let Die 6. Sweet Child of Mine 7. Patience 8. Knocking on Heaven's Door 9. Madagascar 10. Band introductions (New guitarist is Bumblefoot) 11. You Could Be Mine 12. Dizzy Reed piano solo 13. The Blues 14. Out ta Get Me 15. Bumblefoot Guitar Solo 16. November Rain 17. My Michelle (w/ Sebastian Bach) 18. Chinese Democracy 19. There Was a Time 20. IRS (Axl said: "I see you people singing the new songs. You downloaded them, fuckers!") 21. Bumblefoot Guitar Solo #2 22. Nightrain 23. Robin Fink Solo + crowd surfing 24. Paradise City Some guy named "Bumblefoot" is the new guitarist. Never heard of him, but he's another shredder like Buckethead. Best thing - Axl got rid of the oversized sports jerseys.

Aren't all of like the top 12 under some type of contract? Or at least the top 6? I thought I read something like that, but maybe not. I figured that's what happened with Bo Bice, since he was a total country rocker in the competition, and then he released a lame ass pop album last year.

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH 2

Ok, I don't even like Mysterio as the champ, but this is just ridiculous. What is the point of jobbing him out two straight weeks like this? Against a couple of scrubs like Henry and Khali nonetheless. What on earth can this possibly accomplish? How could this make ANYONE want to pay money to see him defend it on PPV?

NCAA games have gotten worse over the last few years, IMO. It's sad to see because NCAA 2004 is my favorite sports game ever. EA always screws up with their new gameplay features. When they added the Home Field Advantage thing where players could easily get "Rattled", it totally screwed you up because your receiver's would drop like 10 passes a game if you were on the road. Then last year it was the terribly overdone "Impact Player" garbage, and now we've got EA pimping their new trick play feature. And you just KNOW they're going to dumb down the AI even more so all these trick plays work most of the time. And this game will be unplayable online, because people are going to figure out ways to explot the trick plays within a day or two.

Another reference to the Reformation of DX
UZI Suicide replied to res37618's topic in The WWE Folder
One good thing I could see coming from a DX reformation is after a few weeks of the HHH-HBK nostalgia, they add two young guys in to do an Evolution type of deal, where HHH and HBK *gasp* help get the young guys over. You can split them up by the two young guys taking on the cocky, young, rebellious persona that HHH and HBK once had, and claiming those two are now old and bald and gay. -
Phew. I almost crapped myself.

Another reference to the Reformation of DX

Forget all that, the worst thing about it is, it will end with HHH turning on Shawn setting up HHH-HBK for the 100th time. -
Another reference to the Reformation of DX
UZI Suicide replied to res37618's topic in The WWE Folder
Because HHH is much more entertaining as a member of DX rather than being just a dominant "king of kings" heel. And Shawn Michaels is much more entertaining as a member of DX, rather than being just all around good Christian Shawn Michaels. Michaels and HHH are still big parts of Raw. So why not put them in programs that are entertaining and work to their strengths, rather than keep them in whatever they are doing right now? If Shawn, HHH are going be taking up TV time, you might as well have them do something that is entertaining. I'd rather watch HHH be the cocky, funny heel, rather than the serious badass. No, Triple H WAS much more entertaining as a member of DX. Shawn Michaels WAS much more entertaining as a member of DX. People who think they're going to get back together and everything will be like it was in 1997 are sorely mistaken. They are both drastically different people, especially Shawn. Watching them try to be "Degenerates" is like when you and your friends are hanging out and your dad comes in, trying to be "hip" by making pop culture references that went out of style five years ago, and saying sentences that include "for shizzle my nizzle". -
I think ECW will get more cheers just because it's seen as more rebellious. Plus, they have RVD.

I don't think it's so much the crowds fault, I think that was just so poorly executed. I mean the whole Dreamer thing is so random, it's like, "Hey I know you were expecting Foley and Edge, but guess what.. here's Tommy Dreamer too!" Why are fans supposed to be engraged that Foley turned on a guy who's been retired for like 3 years, and just randomly popped up in the match out of nowhere tonight? They could have just as easily done this angle with Foley coming out, laying down for Edge, and then going on to put over how Edge is the new king of hardcore and that he's taking him under his wing, blah blah blah.

They're never very exciting.
