Former Mid-South star, one of the most over faces from 1989-1993, former King of the WWF, former WCW US and TV Champion. The man deserves it, not for his wrestling ability, but for his sheer charisma and ability to get the fans into a match.

It's weird that the 3 cities that hosted WM2 get 3 WrestleManias in a row. I don't know if they'll do WM23 in DET though because people would be inevtiably comparing WM3's 93,173 to the maybe 22,000 you could get at the Joe Louis Arena. I agree with HTQ in that WM3 is so special that going back to Detroit wouldn't be a good idea. That said, I'm thinking maybe Philadelphia, Boston, or Dallas gets WM23.

It's fun, isn't it? I wish they'd program in more little things like that, like putting 'PIMP' before 'Batista' or something like that.

Well, now we've got JBL-Cena London-Chavo Booker-Heidenreich Angle-HBK Reigns-Jindrak building for WM, in addition to whatever Eddie and Rey are up to.

Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if it's JBL/Big Show/Cena at Wrestlemania. I hope that's not the case. I'm expecting the JBL-Show feud to be ended on a SD! in a week or two.

Venis won the cage match by pinfall. I'd pick Arn vs. Alex Wright at Slamboree '95. Back-and-forth match, until Alex gives AA a cross-corner whip. Arn comes out of the corner and fakes a punch. Alex ducks it and gets PLANTED with the DDT for the pinfall.

Tonight's Hometown Hero was Dan Gimondo, aka Inferno from the ECWA. He's actually from Albany, NY and was trained (appropriately) by "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

That also would be looking back at a past era. I think a new logo should be something fresh and new, but at the same time, not hideous or horrendous. They've had a similar logo for 20+ years.I don't know what else they could change it to that hasn't been done already.
