Not related to Pink.* Or Pink Floyd. *Subsequently, probably isn't trouble now, yeah, trouble now, yeah, trouble now, yeah, trouble, trouble, now. -

I read this as "My cat is buried in snow" -
Bloodied the shit out of Andrew Ference.

Gaborik scores five in Minny's victory. I'm drunk - don't remember who (I worked nights this week, I'm allowed). First five goal performance since Fedorov 11 years ago. Leafs blow it in the third....again. And the Habs win 5-2 over the Caps, at the price of a nearly 20-shot difference....again.

TV's at work are divvied up into three sections: 1) 26"or higher flat-panels. All of these have an HD feed to them (component). Since they're all widescreen (and HD is always 16:9, as I learned). 2) 20-32" CRT's - all running off coax. Since they're all 4:3, there's black bars over the top and bottom of the image. 3) Tv's 19" or less, all running off coax; There's two CRT and four LCD. Every image on these TV's also have the black bars as well. Why is that? I've deduced it's one of two reasons: * The aspect ratio on both CRT's and one of the LCD are 4:3. Makes sense. The three other LCD's are all 16:10. The extra unit high is causing the black bar. * Since all all the LCD's are HD or HD-ready, but are running off coax, they're in essence being downgraded, and thus, are 4:3. I assume it's more than likely the first reason, and it's hardly life or death, I'm just intrigued.

That sounds like a stripper. I'm also intrigued by this Milky Way hot chocolate.

Is the bundle sold out of a lot of places? I got the game from Wal-Mart last night, but didn't notice any of the bundles. Thanks for all of your input, I'll probably return the single game tomorrow and get the bundle instead. Yeah, I work at a Wal*Mart, and we've received, generally speaking, way more of just the discs than we have the bundles. Hammer-on - low to high Pull-off - high to low. I'm the same way; I can only pull off for some reason - and that long solo is killing me in CoP. There's an achievement for getting 200k without using Star Power, and I can get about 185,000. I briefly jumped to Expert earlier today, and there weren't many more notes, but the fret jumping killed me,

ahem...I have TMNT as well, Matthew... As do I...and I still have achievements to get. Let the boosting begin.

Yashin was the first I thought of. Rick DiPietro was next. Edit: Can we count Mike Milbury? I know he wasn't behind the DiPietro signing, but he made some of the worst moves ever, in any sport, anywhere. Completely unrelated trivia: I often call the aforementioned Isles goalie 'The Rock', as Baron and I had a high school teacher named Rocky DiPietro (yes, the former CFLer). A similar potential slip-up often comes around when AJ Burnett takes the mound, as a fellow student of ours named Kyle Burnett was nicknamed Gibbon.

Buddy of mine who works for Capital One got a call from a guy named Kurt Angle about a year ago.

I often briefly mistake PLAGARISM! for a new Czech name. Also, I'm due for a new avatar - thoughts? -

I brought this up in TCS, oh, two months ago, but there's a drive-thru guy named Kane at the Tim Horton's near my house. No matter who is on the loudspeaker, if it's a guy, I invariably scream "KANE! THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE!" a la Badd Blood 97.

A co-worker and I were discussing the forthcoming One Night Stand/ECW reunion two years ago, when had considered re-arranging some box sets so the different colours spelled ECW. Since then, we've been calling electronics 'ECW' - The Electronics Coalition of Wal*Mart.

^ Anyone wanna know who his favourite Simpsons character is? HOMER! I have underrated Markov and Huet, but come on, Koivu? Hadn't had a goal in 12 games until Saturday. I like Komisarek a lot, think he does a lot of the intangibles that don't make Sportscentre, but I don't see him as an all-star....this year. Anyway, East: Lecavalier, Kovalchuk, Crosby, Markov, Phillips, Huet West: Iginla, Zetterberg, Kopitar, Lidstrom, Ohlund, Luongo. I feel really badly about not putting Heatley on there. And to further the bitching about the voting system, why are Corey Perry and Christian Huselius write-ins?

What's the appeal to these ice hotels? -
Fuck's sake. Even my emergency picks aren't any good.

There's a handful of interesting stats to come out of this game as well: - Keenan earns his 600th win. - With the five goals, Calgary moves into second in goals for in the West. Only Detroit have more. - Iginla's four points put him in second for the Ross trophy, and a tie for second for the Richard. He's two and three back in both categories. - I might be one game off on this, but this is the first five-game winning streak on the road for the Flames since 87-88. The best thing about that? Potentially lots of clips of Lanny MacDonald and his inspirational stache on SportsCentre.

Remember how Miikka Kiprusoff was ready to turn the corner on his poor play as of late? Nope. Calgary wins 9-6. My perennial pool captain Jarome Iginla with a hat trick and an assist, Kristian Huselius with a hattie and two points. Only three of the 15 combined were on a man-advantage. But, Kipper does get the win and played the whole game! His Tampa counterpart Johan Holmqvist allowed four goals on six shots. I really really really really really want to watch Tortorella's post-game. A slip-up on The Score Tonight (Two hat tricks in the same game? When was the last time that happened? Oh, it was Tuesday?) leads into this: Anyone watching the Mitsubishi Performance tourney they're doing? It's still in the balloting stage but it seems pretty cool; Best individual performance of all time is up for debate in a March Madness-style bracket.

I really have nothing to offer. I just like that you called him by his current name instead of Czech. "My Pal, The Tortoise" as a possessive? Deeeeelish.
