  1. A clean sweep for the heels. And TNA will wonder why people cheer them over the actual babyfaces.
  2. Is there any reason TNA don't do split-screen shots?
  3. Now Cage gets to hang with the cool people.
  4. Which only gives him reason to screw them over and cost them matches. At least make it a stipulation that Christian can't do those things. And a nod to Gordon Solie from Mike Tenay.
  5. And why would the MEM want a member who hates them and, logically, is only going to do what he can to screw things up for them?
  6. And nothing screams main eventer like a bad retread of a WWE midcard comedy gimmick. Is there some unwritten rule that Booker T can only be in the main event if he does a lame gimmick? The guy can go when he's himself. Why not let him?
  7. I hate ref distraction finishes, especially in tag matches and especially when the double team happens right in front of the referee and he lets it go.
  8. I'm sure the theory is that the 'kids' will prove the MEM wrong, in the end, and so it's fine to demean them like that. Whether the execution bears out the theory is another matter entirely.
  9. I'm surprised Eric Young gave a speech that got him cheered. That's so unlike how TNA usually book their babyfaces.
  10. http://www.justin.tv/sports_indemand
  11. Either PWI got it wrong or the predictable happened, as they've edited the story to say Hall won't be there.
  12. PWI is apparently claiming Scott Hall will interfere in the Nash vs. Joe match.
  13. I imagine the thought process was that hiring Adamle gave WWE some credibility, so it was worth the money.
  14. Exciting is a word that will never be associated with Chuck Palumbo.
  15. WWE can't be seen to have a lax attitude towards an illegal drug, especially after their previous version of the Wellness Policy was publicly revealed to be a joke. There are bigger drug issues to be tackled, but WWE have to be seen to be strongly against all illegal drugs. Now, whether they let some guys slide when it comes to using those drugs is another issue. Yeah, but when the media gets on the WWE's case about illegal drugs it's usually in regards to stuff like steroids. Wrestlers smoking weed? Who gives a shit? That won't sell you newspapers or bring in the TV ratings. The government pays attention to, you know.
  16. Could also be one of those things that Vince is all gung-ho for for about a minute and then decided against it.
  17. It's rhetorical, but I'd like to know why he hasn't been banned.
  18. I had managed to erase that abortion from my mind... But Quarry/Starnes is worse because at least Filho was trying something. It looked like crap because Filho had gassed out, but at least he was trying to do something. Starnes was just the embodiment suck. And I forget to mention that Aaron Simpson's KO punch was swank.
  19. What could they really do with Palumbo? There is nothing about him that stands out. Nothing he does stands out. He's the personification of generic
  20. He has to be. Faber seemed unprepared for Brown, and looked like he was shocked when Brown didn't curl up into a ball and die. Paulo Filho needs to find something else to do with his life. That was one of the most pathetic performances I have ever seen. Someone compared the Fiho-Sonnen to Severn vs. Shamrock II. This was far worse. It might have been half the length, but Fiho vs. Sonnen was the worst fight I've seen all year. I was surprised to see Pulver, and Faber, go down so quickly. I hope they rebound soon.
  21. It's not just Joe. TNA turns everyone into just another guy, even when they're trying to do their best. They just have no clue how to make anyone a star; even stars who come in aren't stars for long. TNA are in need, and have been for a very long time, of a creative overhaul. They need a fresh perspective on how to book, how to write and everything else. Unfortunately, wrestling being the the backstabbing business that it is, means that's just not going to happen.
  22. Anyone can disappear if they really want to. It's also possible that Saturn is somewhere, maybe a commune or something, where they just don't discuss things with outsiders.
  23. Paul London and Chuck Palumbo have been future endeavored.
