  1. In talking with those involved in the angle, I know Crystal vs. Calvin Szechstein will be taking place. Also, expect HEEL PROMOAGE~! from moi.
  2. That's Coleman Francis. And every movie he ever made was bad. That's why they all wound up on MST3K. To me it was a lot worse. At least you could laugh at the randomness of Skydivers with the Scotsman and the giant amazone-type woman. I thought Skydivers was a worse movie than Red Zone Cuba. I could actually find myself watching Red Zone Cuba without the aid of MST3K if it were ever on in the middle of the night or something. Troll 2 is a favorite among bad movie watchers. Who could forget the kid pissing on the lunch to prevent people from eating it?
  3. That's Coleman Francis. And every movie he ever made was bad. That's why they all wound up on MST3K.
  4. Haven't seen Pootie Tang, but Down To Earth and Head Of State were not bad. Nothing GREAT, but not bad. I saw both in theaters.
  5. I saw it and liked it. The worst movie I ever saw was called The Coroner. I won't bother expounding, cause I doubt you'll ever run across it, but trust me. Haven't seen it, but saw the DVD at Circuit City once and contemplated on getting it, I had to look it up. When the imdb review makes it sound worse than most of the movies I own (and well all know that I reach into the depths of hell when spending money on movies) I stayed away from it. Murder By Numbers "worst movie ever"? Please. Sit through Blackbelt II:Fatal Force. Find the non-MST3K version of Hobgoblins. Rent any Anna Nicole Smith movie. Torture yourselves with those, and you'll be clamoring for MBN to be shown 24 hours straight.
  6. LMAO @ mine. You're on a roll, dude.
  7. I still didn't see Raven dissected. I'm disappointed, Spoon.
  8. Austin I don't think would ever appear in TNA. He's got bitterness towards the Jarrett's and does not need the money. Hogan would only be appearing as a favor to Jimmy Hart. If Hart/Hogan didn't have a friendship, I don't think Hogan would have ever considered doing the angle with JJ. Outsiders I can see happening, since Nash still thinks he's a draw and Hall needs beer money. Warrior might be cool as a one shot novelty return to work a match with Abyss or something, but I do NOT want to see the guy week in and week out.
  9. Again, when I met Dennis Haskins, he said some eps were made as "padding" because at the time, you needed 100 eps or so in order to get into syndication. That's most likely the reason for the recaps.
  10. I'll agree with that. Also interested to see if they follow up on his teased heel turn.
  11. I posted it at the same time as you. If you can take it dude, thanks. I'll have my segs in to ya by 6.
  12. Ho boy. Any volunteers to post the show?
  13. On the subject of the teen shows, I found out some cool info. While reading up on series' that are set to debut in the summer/fall, I read up on one called "Weekends". The summary said it was about two Gen-Xers who are dealing with their first kid, and it stars Eddie Kaye Thomas (Finch from American Pie movies) as the husband and Caitlin Mowry (Dawn from City Guys) as his wife. Pretty odd, as she had basically fallen off the face of the earth (I believe she finished school at UCLA) until recently.
  14. Hell's no. Oh, and speaking of things we have in common, dude, Drive just got a new, easier to find DVD release. You can get it on BestBuy.com for like $14.99. I'm gonna snag it next paycheck I think.
  15. Elizabeth BERKLEY. Elizabeth Hurley is the British actress who used to be involved with Hugh Grant, and starred in Bedazzled, amongst other films. Lark Voorhees was on Days of Our Lives for a bit after SBTB, and had some movie roles (How To Be A Player and How High). Dennis Haskins said when I met him that she's just now getting back into acting after taking some time off.
  16. The Filthy Animals came back when Russo/Bischoff returned to power. That time around was Konnan, Rey, Juvi, Tyrgress and Disco Inferno (then going by Disqo). That was when Muta/Vampiro feuded with them. Also led to some politicking by Kronik, as they didn't want to drop the tag belts to Rey/Juvi, so dropped them to Muta/Vamp to transition them to the Animals.
  17. While I'll admit, I haven't had much chance to scour the whole show, I just want to comment on the comments made about my match thus far. When I write, I tend to let things flow, and sometimes find myself getting far too many ideas for one segment/spot/etc. and try to fit it all in somehow. Usually I'll always find some way to work it in later (at least in my OAOAST matches) but here in matches with a word limit, I feel I have trouble deciding what to do/keep. Most of the time I take out the commentary and quips from the announcers, although that leads to a drawn out match with lots of description but no room for reaction. Glad I won, and I was impressed with Stryke's take on our match in the "Losing Matches" thread. I know I'm still learning to adjust to this style, which is different from what I'm used to. I can appreciate the constructive criticism so if anyone wants to shoot me a pointer or two, it couldn't hurt.
  18. Hey, at least he didn't make up aliases regarding your genetalia.
  19. Actually, the finisher is the Sunset Strip. We get a high-priced stripper/call girl (on the company dime, of course. Business expense ) to come into the ring, do her thing, and when you're distracted, we roll you up. Simple, really.
  20. I thought you named yourself after the only thing you had to eat in the freezer?
  21. Huh? Did I miss something? That's the first I've heard of that. Anyhow, I figure they could hype up a "mystery entrant", but in reality it probably will be Eugene who is entered in it, and I bet he makes it pretty far before his next victim (I call Cade) takes him out.
  22. Pacific Blue was the name of the show. Lopez just got married to Ali Landry (the Dorito's girl), and I've seen him hosting all sorts of shows, from "The Other Half" to some pet show to one of the recent Star Search/talent hunt type of shows. Gotta agree on Mark-Paul having the best post-SBTB career. He's awesome on NYPD Blue. I'm also a Dead Man On Campus fan. Tiffani was great as Val on 90210, and she had the role on Fastlane, although that got canned fast. Last I heard from her she had guest starred on Good Morning, Miami.
  23. Hrm...Bankywood Industries or Malibu Enterprises? Or there was when CWM, Caboose, Poet and myself got the Smartmark Mafia nickname.
  24. *Ahem* The In Crowd now goes by the name Hollywood Boulevard, kthxbye.
