  1. How bout the best since Benoit/Angle WM 17
  2. He shouldn't really be finished with Michaels given that, you know, HBK is far from "killed".
  3. The natural 'evolution' of his Gimmick is to fight Flair, so that could happen by Rumble.
  4. I still can't see it.
  5. "Angle against Benoit are the two likely world title matches" This warms my heart... though it will NEVER EVER EVER happen.
  6. Wow, she's out for THAT long??? I would have figured her back for tonight.
  7. Pride has a nasty habit of not giving their cards enough time. And it's in the Tokyo Dome, so you kinda figure they'd be on the ball. But Sakuraba, Wanderlei, Yoshida, Cro Cop are all on the card - that's more than half the crowd already. Not to mention the GP marquee.
  8. I'm not exactly getting what you're trying to say... Are you saying Eddie needs the ford focus as his new low-rider?? I would have figured Chavo as more of a GM kinda guy.
  9. When Austin was running wild you had the Rock and HHH elevated to permanent main eventers. While HHH and Rock were running wild you had... um... errr.... Well Jericho, he came up and... lost... to... HHH. No, wait, ANGLE! Yes, he went up and in a big feud tried to steal steph... and...failed... and...lost... to... HHH. BENOIT! MY GOD BENOIT! He was going for the title, lost, then fought HHH... then... lost... again... to HHH. When Austin came back in the end of 2000 his big uber mega feud was with... HHH. And he lost that feud. Then he feuded with the Rock, and turned heel because they were setting up a... feud with HHH. HHH got injured, Austin vs. Benoit - Benoit got over huge - got injured. Austin vs. Angle, great match, bad finish, 9/11, Angle won, then lost... Jericho won the Undisputed Title, bad matches with Austin, all leading up to HHH taking the title. I'd say Austin did *way more* than HHH did in "elevating" the 'mid 3', even if it wasn't a lot.
  10. Yes, because HHH's injury had nothing to do with Vince hot-shotting the Invasion angle. *Vince* can be *manipulated* by his *daughter*, like most fathers can. *Wives* can be manipulated by *Husbands* and *Dumbasses* can be manipulated by *HHH*. I'm not taking the responsibility off Vince, cause I hate Vince as much as anyone who doesn't personally know another person possibily can, but jesus christ if you can't see the possible danger in HHH marrying Steph and the effect on the promotion then your eyes are closed. Things won't change right away, but there will be a gradual shift once HHH feels more "at home" in his new role in the "family".
  11. The WWE will go down because they failed to create new stars and stopped making money And HHH and his relationship to Steph had NOTHING to do with this? *Recalls HHH going over Jericho, Benoit and Angle in respective feuds in 2000* *Recalls HHH/Steph/Angle love triangle and how the only person to be powerful enough to break them up was.... HHH.* This marriage *is* bad for the company and therefore bad for *us* as wrestling fans.
  12. So does the pool start now, or after they're married?
  13. How will this new era be any different than the old era?
  14. Stephanie McMahon vs. Shane McMahon Vince McMahon vs. Eric Bischoff
  15. They were the perfect WWE developmental team not in the WWE.
  16. ...man, this show has a lot of characters who just were let go.
  17. Oh oh oh! AND Gru... can't forget about Gru.
  18. Ok, how about Kate and Lindsey come back - in vampire form- and kill Angel?
  19. ...And maybe that Vampire would be Harmony.
  20. How about "Disorderly Conductors"? In homage to the Tough Tom/Mean Mike superteam "Disorderly Conduct"..
  21. The dialogue between Connor and Angel is absolutely amazing. I meant to do a review on that eps, but I kinda got lazy and opted not to. I think everyone was in shock at the new direction the show was taking, rather than seeing how fitting the finish was to the Connor Saga.
  22. My bad, it's... "GM sent this one. You better sit down before reading it or the shock may take you off of your feet! … In the current edition of "WWE Magazine" (to be renamed Smackdown Magazine next month), there is a list of the "20 Most Important and Powerful People in Sports Entertainment" or something along those lines. Four guesses as to who was named #1: THE ENTIRE MCMAHON FAMILY. So they are telling the fans the McMahons are the most important people on the roster. More important than even the top guys on each show. Austin was #2 and HHH #3. Torrie Wilson of all people was #15. I say that because she ranks higher than Jim Cornette and Mick Foley who are also included in the list. -1click
  23. You obviously haven't heard about their 25 most important people in Sports Entertainment... Torrie Wilson at #15 beating Jim Cornette and Mick Foley, the McMahon family at #1, Austin at #2, and HHH at #3.
  24. Dress up like Hogan, for the love of god dress up like Hogan.
  25. JR: Ok Rob, I think we can come to an agreement here. Everything that you asked for seems reasonable enough... RVD: Great, lemme just read the contract over one more time. *Reads* Mmmhmm, mmmhmm, ok, ok, I like that, that's cool... ah, the ol McMahon/HHH clause, that's a classic... oh wait a sec... JR, you forgot one thing... JR: Listen Rob, we can't include "that", for legal puposes we can't, but I assure you I've spoken with the writers and they're fine with it, they'll let you in once a week and everything will be "cool", ok? RVD: Sure, as long as I get to meet with them. JR: You will. They will have a seat reserved just for you. RVD: Good, cause damn, I gotsta try what they're smokin... to write storylines like that? It has to be some premium shit.
