KC apparently really wants a team. They have a state of the art building in the process of being constructed. They kind of got jobbed the last time they had a franchise (the team was very bad) so I'd think that KC would be a good fit. And the Bruins get a nice win 3-2 over the Wild. I watched until the third, when I fell asleep and missed Sturm's winner. Raycroft looked very good at times and completely unfocused at others. He made some good saves and the goals that he let up were a result of a nice screen by Chouinard on a laser by Rolston and a rebound that he gave up.

I've done 10 minute periods for as far back as I can remember. I still haven't gotten through my first season, but with some of the players that will be available in the draft and my number of first round picks from bad teams, I'm anticipating it greatly. I'd sim the rest of the season, but I want to win my rivalry games and finish first in the conference. My team goal is advance to/past (I can't remember) the second round of the playoffs.

The fact that you open the head packaging and all of the papers and junk fall out is just shortsighted. Plus, with the arrogance that they have, we know that they know the market for these boxsets; Collectors. That just looks stupid.

A bunch of Canadian people on the board and no talk about this game yet? I'm still waiting to be impressed on the gameplay. The offensive side is still easy as hell to score (setup your strategy to be 'Crash the Net' do a partial wraparound and throw a pass at the front of the net. Sixty percent of the time, it works everytime.) while the defense cannot stop anything. The players have new animations (goalies look behind them for the puck and into the air in frustration if they let in an easy one, defenseman look disappointed in themselves after getting repeatedly torched, etc.) but for the most part, it's the same game that it has been. The numbers are just too unrealistic for me. I'm averaging over nine goals a game, giving up around six. Raycroft has been the drizzling shits (his gaa is in the high 5's) and my backup isn't faring all too well either. I can get shutouts of good teams like Philly and Ottawa, but teams like Washington and Carolina knock me around and have put up double digits. It's very frustrating. Yikes. I won't go that far. I liked Wedding Crashers slightly more than 40YOV and I'm a huge Steve Carell mark and noted Owen Wilson dislikist.

My Suncoast has The Bourne Supremacy for $29.99. All of their tv box sets are at least 45 bucks. We got The Bourne Supremacy used at GameStop for free, since we bought two other movies.

I'll probably pick this up used. Sounds like a good time to be had.

I want 40YOV. The Island was a dreadful movie so I won't be wasting my money there. Airplane: Don't Call Me Shirley edition is definitely worth picking up. I already have the barebones version, so some extra stuff with one of the funniest movies ever made is definitely worth the money. I have a feeling I'm getting Simpsons: season 7 for xmas, so I'm not going to risk getting in trouble by buying it.

World Tour was a pretty good time, especially unlocking the boxer and fucking people up in tournaments.

Revenge. No Mercy had the glitch that I always seemed to get. And while ladder match was a fun addition, the slowdown on everything was really really bad. WM2000 was decent (especially the create-a-belt). Revenge was excellent, even without the create-a-wrestler mode. I got more pleasure out of renaming each character than I did with the create-a-wrestler in WM2000 or NM.

One of these days, we'll figure out a new word to separate 'resigns' as in "signs again" and 'resigns' as in "quits his/her post". I always get them confused.

I think it was MadTV that did Kenny Rogers: Jackass that featured them throwing bats at each other's heads. That was pretty damn funny.

I've been listening to him on the satellite radio all morning. He was a funny guy. Not the funniest guy ever, but he had a unique way of looking at things. He was great in Stir Crazy and Brewster's Millions (that's a bias pick for me though, I love that movie).

It's been unseasonably warm down here, VX. Other than the "cold snap" we got after Wilma made her way through here, it's been pretty warm. Last year was nice, as it got into the 30's some nights while remaining in the 70's for the most part. Apple cider is OK, but I'm not as much a fan of it as I am delicious hot chocolate or plain old coffee.

I've spent way too much time on the wrestling side of the internet. I remember all of the Shannon stuff, plus Hyatte's constant slams in his 45 page columns every week. I don't remember my name from the yellow board, but I've been around for a while. I'm depressed about that.

That's the one silver lining to the Thornton trade - they played his "....... it's called Bruins" ad more than anyone else's. I doubt Emerick would want to make the trip to Italy for the Games, but he'd be my first choice. Toss Bill Clement in as a color guy though.

I get accused all the time of being an asshole to people when the only problem was that I was distracted and short with someone. So because I'm distracted by something at work and don't gleefully smile at the dumbfuck making my sandwich at BK, this means that I deserve to get something done to my food? Poor reasoning.

The Astros are making a tough call but an understandable one if they let Clemens walk without arbitration. They need offense and can't wait around for Clemens like they did last year and miss out on whatever's left out there.
