We have a Sony TV one of those digital line comb filter ones. They are the model that was a big seller right before HD started getting more suburbian-friendly. It is only 27" but the picture is crisp, and I also hook in the satellite feed through a video input instead of the coaxial hookup so it makes the picture even better. Then we have an Onkyo 5.1 digital receiver which can decode DTS-ES and such. It sounds really nice, for what we need, it is pretty good for an entirely stock system.

MikeSC was good in the early days but over the last year all he mainly did was post a lot of "what if" editorials with subtitles like "this could be crazy IF it was true" of course he didn't emphasize the "if" like I just did. It reeked of everything he supposedly stood against.

Well I enjoyed the boos too, but what I am saying is that I mean that performance was so awful as far as the horrible timing between her backup taped vocals and her attempts to sing, that it almost seems like it was done on purpose and it is being used as some sort of gimmick.

NWO should get the credit, but the thing was WCW was a much better top to bottom show also. I mean, they actually had structure to their shows with the cruiser openers to get the crowd hot, and each match would kind of build. On WWE ppvs, still to this day, the order of the matches often seems illogical and a lot of the time is messes up the crowd heat.

I used to think our society as a whole was smart enough to realize all of this jobber, but the way most people have been easily deceived over the past few years, I really fear that all it is going to take is a bunch of soundbytes by Bush and company for the american masses to sway. I mean Bush is already planting the seeds by saying phrases like, "this social security problem" when there clearly is no problem besides the government stealing from social security funds for their own agenda like say....tax cuts? The problem is a stance like "who can take care of your money better, you or the government" is so simplistic and neanderthal in nature that it pretty much clicks with your average joe who doesn't pay attention to politics. I am not talking necessarily about members of the left or right, Bush supporters, Bush haters etc.....just your average joe that doesn't follow politics and like a lot of people frowns upon taxes just for the sake of hating paying taxes. Honestly, I think Bush will ultimately fail in his attempt to privatize social security, thus fucking over pretty much everyone but the wealthy elite, but I have this depressing feeling he will get the agenda pushed far enough that it will be a lingering battle in the future...

Secondly, if you just witnessed her "singing peformance" at halftime of the Bowl game, I guess we all know now why they had her geared up to lip sync on SNL. She is fucking terrible. Batista for the most part wrestles like your average muscled out roid monster. Lots of punches kicks, even more "ROAAAAAAAAR"-ing after a move as simple as a bodyslam, and then the long drawn out setup for the finisher, in this case, the powerbomb. The match was decent because Benoit sold well, and obviously had no problem putting Batista over as a monster. However Batista himself didn't do anything Albert couldn't do.

As opposed to hoping some big company that doesn't lie to your face and tell you your money is just fine with them, and they sell off taxes and laugh at you. Face it, Social Security has always been there thus far, and the closest we have every come to it not being there when it counted was fabrications and scare tactics by the corporate and wealthy elite that just want to get out of paying taxes for something else. Social Security is there for a reason, and it is a good and noble reason.

Lets say you get injured next week at work and cannot work again ever? A little program called Social Security pays you for the rest of your life. That is why you pay into it.

How about the government stops "borrowing" money from social security everytime there is a surplus?? Where do you think Bush took money from in order to afford his tax cut? Also it seems to be a little known fact these days that Social Security is NOT a retirement fund. It is an insurance safety net, meant for a long list of things, not exclusively retirement. Also the fact that they only tax up to $87,000 of income for the social security tax is fucking bullshit. It should not cut off period. If you are a part of this society, using it's resources and citizens as employees to get fat off the land, then you goddamn better pay your taxes.

Skins hardest games besides the obvious two against the Eagles will be Denver & Kansas City on the road. Hopefully the Denver road game is in the early part of the season where the weather is not too awful. It should be interesting to see Coles vs. Bailey as they get to take their old practice rivalry to the actual field now. Of course Bailey isn't looking half has good as he did in Washington.
