  1. I think the 2 TSM hip hop fans are asleep at the moment.........
  2. I think Vick has the prettiest release and pass in football. The snap of the arm, and the quick release point are two wicked ass things to witness. I would still say he is overrated as a QB, but not as a playmaker. He is kind of like McNabb before this season. McNabb has made major strides this season to become an accurate passer, and to stop scrambling at the worst times. As far as next week's game of Atlanta/Philly. While Philly will be and should be favored. I think Atlanta's defense matches up well because their strength is the front seven which should be used to neutralize Brian Westbrook and make him pay a vicious price everytime he catches those short passes over the middle. Atlanta's secondary is the defense's weakness but come on even a weak secondary should be able to cover Mitchell and Pinkston one-on-one coverage, especially if Atlanta's front four can pressure McNabb. I think this will finally be the game that hurts Philly for TO being absent. Oh and on a sidenote. The Vikings D-coordinator should be fired at the least after his crap approach to covering the Philly WRs. Worst ever.
  3. Hmmmm tough one to call. Never thought I'd see this fight until Barrera got a rematch first. I am going to say Pac-man just because I feel his power is so deceiving to opponents. Pac-Man by decision.
  4. But once you are dead, nothing works besides your most primal instinct. I don't think the Rage virus could even effect dead zombies because their bodies are not functioning like a regular human body. And remember, Rage virus folks are not trying to eat people, they are just *MAD* While the living dead are out for the lust of human flesh, and a group of them could enclose on a Rage person and take them down and eat them. A rage victim would trample a living dead zombie with ease, but unless he took out his head/brain, then the living dead zombie could neutralize the rage guy with a single bite, not to mention if the living dead are traveling in a pack and just smother the rage zombie.
  5. Yeah and just last night Mary Ann Fitzpatrick complimented how big of a man Bush is for saying that, even though it has been a couple of years and she had no problem defending his statement, and now of course has to change her opinion as soon as Bush does. If you are not familiar with this woman she is another one of those "Thank gawd we have a grown up in the white house now that doesn't worry about blue dresses and cigars LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Score one for ME~!" She can't get a sentence out of her mouth without referring to Clinton/Lewisnky/Cigars/Blue Dresses etc.....
  6. Ok, this is not to debate which brand of zombie/virus you prefer. I had the weirdest dream last night that both entities existed in the same movie. So basicaly the dead were coming back to life, while the Rage virus was running rampant as well. I am trying to remember the details of how it worked, and what the movie rules would be. I am thinking that once you are dead, your only way to come back would be via living dead, because a dead body would not circulate a virus. Now then what if you had Rage and then were killed....would you be a RAGE Living dead zombie? Oh the possibilities....(did I mention I am a loser?)
  7. Wow, I was impressed. Paul Giamatti was pretty impressive here, but I was also suprised with the performance of Thomas Haden Church, he was very good as well. The ending was very appropriate as well.
  8. EDIT: other thread found..... Delete this thread ASAP
  9. Granted, Hotwel Rwanda scaled back somewhat on depressing shots of people actually being killed, and much of the slaughter and genocide was implied offscreen, probably to avoid an R rating. This movie was damn good.
  10. As Jingus pointed out, I think the bigger dick-move then the 40 million, is the fact that Washington DC is having to take money out of there homeland security funds to spend 11+ million on this, and where as every other inaguration, the city has been reimbursed for their bill, for some unknown reason, the whitehouse refuses to reimburse DC. I see they are taking homeland security....very seriously.
  11. Care to share your plan? Maybe for the sake of others? Oh well, it is nothing special. I mean we have a group of about 8, and I guess their cable/satellite subscriber allows you to buy the next 3 WWE PPVS at once for a discounted rate, which we did, so we are basically splitting the cost 8 ways, and then with the daily food specials EVERYWHERE, we will seemingly come away with full stomachs for less then the sportsbar would charge anyway~!
  12. Something tells me the worst of the charges isn't "put hood on head" like people on this board claim is the worst offenses going on.
  13. As bad as some of the ppvs are, it was the one time a month that I got to see a bunch of friends that I don't see that much at other times, due to work, school, schedule etc......The sportsbar showing the ppvs was one thing that we all marked on our calendar to attend. Good thing we came up with a good plan on the fly for PPVs until we find another place.
  14. I can't wait for this flick.
  15. Psicosis + WWE = ummm......TBA
  16. It's not even the lack of wrestling perse. I mean hell in the Attitude era, the promos and skits were hilarious, so I tended to overlook the lack of wrestling. Also, WM is the one show I can not care about anything political and just enjoy the show. The same goes for the rumble match, or at least until it is down to the obvious final four guys.
  17. Is this the same Appleseed that has been showing on Showtime Beyond over the past few years?
  18. *Halloween 3 rings a bell*
  19. Tha's funny......how's Little Danny Snyder going to attempt to buy a division title next year? I dunno, I would imagine in the complete opposite way Philly has NOT bought a Lombardi Trophy yet!?!
  20. My interest in WWE has been waning, like many of you here at smartmarks, however I must say that despite the overall lack of quality wrestling on the shows, I think my waning interest has a lot more to do with the lack of suprises, and always seeming to know how things are being booked. You can chalk some of that up to WO.com I suppose, but even without the aide of that website, I just feel that when I am watching Raw or Smackdown, there just isn't any reason to be emotionally involved in the underdogs, and/or non-company favorites. We are back in the era of Indestructable Hogan, however it just isn't Hulk Hogan anymore. Recently I had stopped watching Raw & Smackdown for almost three months, and I decided that right before the PPV to watch both to see what was going on for the PPV, and I can tell you flat our, that is was like I never even stopped watching in the first place. Neiter was doing anything remotely different from the prior 3 months it seemed. I guess the wrestling scene is altogether different since there are no other promotions to compete against, so you don't see the constant jumping ship from brand to brand like you used to. Also, you don't see a competative style difference anymore. Everything and Everyone in WWE has the same "mold" to them. All in all, I guess this post was a waste of time.....
  21. I didn't watch the ppvs at Hooters, but I did watch them at a local sports bar called "Players" I have been watching the PPVS there for about the last five years or so. I December PPV was the last of them though because the manager said that WWE was raising the cost of licensing for the sportsbars too high for them. It sucks, but we worked out a pretty good plan for the ppvs in the future.
  22. I am partial to the fun bunch, being a 'Skins fan. The best was when they were playing the Cowboys and when they scored a TD, just about the entire offense surrounded the cornerback and did the group high five with him in the middle. The banning of the fun bunch led to the NFL nickname "No Fun League"
  23. I just saw an ad for the new special 2-disc edition release of Predator 2 and I will admit to not have seen this movie in quite some time, but from what I do remember, it was a damn good flick, and Danny Glover definately impressed. Of course nothing will beat the Predator in the jungle setting with Arnie and his band of mercenaries, but Predator 2 was very good in it's own right too. I think I am going to pick this up on January 25th......it should also be noted that Amazon: Predator 2 page has the movie listed as being rated NC-17.
  24. The sushi spread looks very tasty.
  25. I wouldn't ever be bold enough to say America is the leaing threat to human rights, but I would also at the same time say that a lot of our policies in general promote indirect violations of human rights abroad, that your average citizen is never going to be akin to as far as just by watching the evening news. A lot of our labor trade laws and relationships with countries that have no such laws create a lot of human rights violations.
