Aren't they remaking that film in hollywood. I believe a trailer is out already... That's the original as far as I know, but don't expect it to show up at the mega-plexes, it's being released in it's full NC-17 glory. Well, good think there are two indy-theaters in town close-by~!

I wouldn'y even bother touching an american release anyway, by the time the MPAA butchers it all to hell.
-
well I understood the point of the thread, but I was just saying if the thread starter doesn't want to wait any longer, there are options to buy the 2-disc set that will play on american dvd players.

Japanese and Korea are producing great horror films. Also, Italy has awesome flicks too, but generally, because of the style of them, it seems rather hard for American audiences to embrace them. If you haven't seen it, check out Suspiria by Dario Argento, and "Zombi 2" by Lucio Fulci. If you like either one, get back to me and I can recommend others, plus I think both of those DVDs have a handful of trailers of other films by their respective directors.

Remember all that talk about torture & rape rooms?

Isn't that kind of the circumstances we went bombed Iraq under? -
Kind of Ironic how drug use is considered to be a worsening crime, while obesity levels are rising and food companies are basically poisoning us with the stuff they put into food in order to make it cheaper to produceas the FDA and Drug companies keep getting looser with what they allow to be regulated into our food supply. Aren't we to the point now that Canada and Europe won't even take meat from us anymore? Also at the same time Bush said trying to keep the air cleaner with better regulated enviornmental laws and provisions is going to "hurt our economy" and thus is refusing to have a role in a universal global policy, that his "good friend" Tony Blair is basically begging him to get involved in.

www.DVDAsian.com has the region free 2-disc set of Battle Royale 1 & 2. No need to wait around for a US release.

If you look beyond HOLLYWOOD for your horror flicks, you will find greatness.

I wasn't aware the contract/agreement with the UN said, "disobey our resolutions, and your cities will be flattened by the force of the american military, but they wil also try to bring you democracy on the side"

To bad this show was probably done taping before the Rose Bowl incident. I mean how would they explain that "oh, boys will be boys, hehehehe" ? I only saw the commercials for this, and I can pretty much guarantee all the majority of the "hotel scenes" were taped after the SNL show, just for damage control as earlier suggested. Everyone be sure to stop at www.stopashlee.com

Maryland has the game tied up despite being absolutely worked over by the officials. Winning at Duke is so damn difficult unless you blow them out because the officiating is so biased there.

Calling FNC right-leaning is a "straw man" argument? WTF. Do you watch FNC? I mean really. Come on now. Regardless of what CNN/ABC/NBC/CBS do on their broadcasts, there is no way any logical person can say that Fox News is not basically a vehicle for the republican party. I wouldn't even say they are a conservative network, moreso a hack network for whatever the republican flavor of the month is, I mean how else can you explain that the most common guests are Dick Morris and Newt. If you want me to say CNN is just as bad as Fox in actual reporting, I'd agree, but to try and say CNN is more biased then Fox is a joke.

I agree with lomas here, "it's a conspiracy dammit, lets contract AIDS ourselves and prove it" If they want to get to the bttom of the conspiracy. Demand Magic Johnson give an explanation as to how he is still alive. LOL.

This is a pretty great accomplisment for a DVD that doesn't have that many matches. ECW - We Miss You~!

Lennox Lewis being out of shape is his own fault, and speaks at length of the kind of fighter he is. Vitali was walking through Lewis's best shots. He was still coming forward and stalking Lewis. Lewis's best shots of the fight is when he was holding Vitali against the ropes, and repeatidly hitting him in the side/body, which by the way is illegal. Lewis was dead tired, and was leaning all over Vitali to support his body by the last couple of rounds. Vitali was on his way to winning the fight, and Lewis was fortunate the thumb of his boxing club, ripped a chunk of flesh out of Vitali's face.

No New Jack? No Sold.

He would only be the second person to do it. Paul Van H. showed up to collect his Razzie for Showgirls~!

Well to be fair, is this much different then conservatives referring to CNN as COMMIE NEWS NETWORK? I mean, the fact that TED TURNER himself stooped down to that level and said it, is hilarious, but I mean I wouldn't put it past pundits to jab each other back and forth using these tactics.

George W. Bush / FAHRENHEIT 9/11 I wonder if this was largely based on the scene of him in jeans and his trusty cowboy trying to explain to the camera man why he was digging in the dirt, ya know to come off looking like a farmer or something. Terrible acting if I may say so.
-
Oh that lovable billionaire Ted Turner~! He must know his CNN brand of news is not really much better...

Are you sure you are looking at the special edition that just came out TODAY? Or the previous DVD release that has been out a few years now.

This argument MIGHT be credible except for the fact that you are putting Iraq on the same level as the U.S. Relativism doesn't cut it. Iraq allowed terrorists in, I'm not going to give Hussein the benefit of the doubt that "the Iraqi government technology was not sophisticated enough to monitor every inch of their country". I actually can't believe you wrote that. Like Iraq was some lawful, responsible place. The U.S. obviously was not consciously allowing terrorists to train here, unless you've got some conspiracy theory. Apparently faulty intelligence from the U.S., UN, and foreign countries that was solid at the time. I inferred that the risk of Iraq possibly acquiring a nuke and passing it off to terrorists was too great to allow a brutal dictator, who already had a multitude of reasons to be removed, to stay in power. Remember, 17 UN Resolutions put the burden of proof on Hussein to open up his country completely and show us he had no WMDs. Yet he continued to pose as if he had something to hide. My research exposed the bs that WMDs were the only reason given to go to war. My point was that it is plenty reasonable to think terrorist camps, could be conducted without Saddam's knowledge. How is that not plausible? THis has nothing to do with whether Saddam is a nice guy or not, he is an evil bastard either way, but to me it isn't unreasonable to think that a group of thugs took advantage of some land out in the middle of the desert beyond civilization. Oh and no, I am not comparing our government to Iraqs. I was just simply trying to get a clear definition of what a terrorist training camp is. Also, I didn't say there weren't any other reasons for war with Iraq. What I said was what GEORGE W. BUSH said in his speeches in the beginning, and how he mainly used fear and a make-believe imminent threat to get over on the american people, and when that strategy was falling flat, due to mostly....the TRUTH, he switched reasons and started talking about "liberation" and "spreading democracy"

WOW. That is one hell of a deal for a disc that seems pretty jam packed extra features, including a DTS audio track. It is also rated NC-17, so there is probably extended gore scenes~! Oh it was just released today, btw.
