  1. well yeah, it isn't ok if in fact all the accusations prove to be true. I didn't mean to make it sound like I personally thought it was ok because he was a politician, I just meant to say, the crime he is being accused of is probably something that takes place more commonly then we would like to think. Also interesting is that this story is 7 months old, the 9/11 comission knew about it, already questioned him on it, yet somehow it gets all this attention put BACK onto it, right as the 9/11 comission is about to come to their conclusion....... If he is infact found guilty, then throw the freaking book at him, however as of right now he is not "guilty" of anything yet, he is just under investigation.
  2. the only thing is, if the documents were/are classified, how much info about them could actually be given to the public? Politicians in general always get a free pass with these type of things unless there can be a direct link between their action and something bad happening. The right is thus far claiming the docs somehow prove that the Clinton's administration did not treat Osama/Taliban/Al Qaeda as the #1 threat. Much of what the left is complaing about the current adminstration.
  3. honestly, I can care less about the soundtrack feature. That is one of those things you spend time setting up, and halfway through the game you forget about it anyway. The game looks really solid. I can't wait until tomorrow. All of us with a PS2 and network adapter should starting playing against each other....
  4. This is sort of new. It has been on the net for a bit, but it grew in popularity fast, and was even featured on the Today Show. It may take a bit longer then usual to load since the growing popularity has bogged down the server a bit. If you like it......there is more toons on the site...........ENJOY......... Bush & Kerry: This land is my land
  5. Batista has fallen quite nicely into the "Monster" role, and I must say he comes off like a monster 100x better then Brock did. The formation of Rhyno/Tajiri tag-team is a good idea, as both are entertaining and fun to watch in the ring, also it adds something new to the tag team division..... Benoit is still champ.... Eugene wasn't there last night on Raw.... After the Iron Match, triple H should hopefully be too tired to even do a promo in the 2nd half of raw next week *crosses fingers*
  6. Two 40oz's of Mickeys is my friday-afterwork regular purchase. I usually buy various six packs and drink a few with the 40oz, save the rest, and after a week or two, I have an assortment of beer in my mini-fridge for the weekend.. Eh, only on the weekends.....

  8. I like Guiness, NewCastle, and Dark Heineken. Or the cheaper days, MGD & Sierra Nevada
  9. well it doesn't get much worse then coors(well maybe keystone light), so if I had to pick one it would be Molson. I don't drink either though.....
  10. Chalk me up as another Ryan Leaf believer, LOL. It's not that I thought he would be a superstar, but when him and Peyton came out at the same time, I figured they would both be good, yet guessed that the Manning hype would be his downfall, and Leaf would get the benefit of the quiet journey to become a solid QB.......Wow I was dead wrong. I don't know if I have learned my lesson yet though, cause I am not COMPLETELY sold on his brother just yet..
  11. WNBA, "WE GOT NEXT" <----Drills electric screwdriver into side of head.
  12. when I was in little league, I always LOATHED when players when on the field would say to the pitcher, "you just throw the ball to the batter, we'll take care of the rest" then the pitcher would go on to do just that, only the fielders would take care of turning a routine flyout or groundout into a single +error leading to a double or triple...LOL.
  13. these things don't always go by the best team perse, a lot of it has to do with key players. Like, Bret Favre is a QB you would want in the playoffs, over some other playoff team QBs, so Green Bay gets an automatic boost just from having Favre.
  14. When I worked at Ford, there was this guy who would place about a $200 bet every year on the team with the worst odds to win the superbowl, well the year the Rams won it, it was them, or at least they were Waaaaaay down on the list, and he made a killing. It was $2000 for the playoffs and $5000, for the superbowl win......so yeah he was a good mood superbowl sunday.
  15. if this merger goes through, then it would be nice to see the nasty coors beer to be eliminated altogether and just make Molson, but that would never happen
  16. Don't try and act as if one is somehow worse than the other. And don't act as if the BUSH = HITLER stuff was ONLY confined to the MoveOn.org contest. Both are equally stupid. True, however the right also ran ads of the Gore/Dean/Kennedy speeches while flashing images of Hitler speaking too. Each and everyone one of the ads using this tactic is stupid, no matter which side is doing it.
  17. I am just not sure why Arnold thought that rant would encorage democrats to come back to the negotiating table for the budget. I mean it was almost if Arnold hoped californians would hear his comment, and just think to themselves, "hey yeah, Democrats are girly-men" I also think it is ludicrous to try to paint a picture that only one side is giving in to special interests. Arnold's scenario: Arnold: "........then they are girly-men" Democrats: "oh no, we better get back there and work out this budget, or californians are going to think we're girly-men" The issue to me is not at all whether the comment was "offensive" or not, which I don't feel it was, rather the comment and tone of the entire speech was just stupid, and dumb politics at a time where Arnold is supposedly "working with both sides"
  18. the first thing that comes to mind is, "please gawd NOOOOOOOOO" The only thing worse then Triple H doing the squash, is having him lay all over the ring for a good 25 mins.
  19. I just got to class, and the chick that pulled up next to me got out of her car, in a black shirt with white lettering that said, "It's Tough being the Queen" Needless to say I was INSPIRED to come to this thread and reply....LOL.
  20. Van Poppel was throwing in the mid-90's range right out of highschool, being an A's fan, I was so juiced to get him, what a damn bust he was. He had chance after chance after chance....
  21. On Monday Night RAW last week, Eugene thought he had captured the World Heavyweight Championship. Then, during his post-match celebration, he thought his new "friends" Evolution were coming down to celebrate with him. Little did he know that the faction was coming to tear him apart. Led by Triple H, Evolution decimated Eugene, leaving him a bloody mess. What will happen next in the Eugene/Evolution saga? Tune in to RAW to find out (9/8 CT on Spike TV). Nice to see that Benoit isn't even mentioned at all, ya know, being champ and all....
  22. Desmond Howard as WR.....
  23. well that is assuming they even get through boot camp without trying to murder the captain or something. I mean these aren't 18 year old kids looking for "adventure" These are hardened criminals who don't seem to give a shit either way, and would seeminly hardly be interested in fighting for the country.
  24. I would tend to agree. Most folks I know that transplanted OUT of CA, have said CA was much better, but then again, everyone basis their opinion for different reasons.
  25. You know, his daughters are legal now... -=Mike ...To use a line from The Onion, her wetlands are open for drilling... One of his Bush's daughters is hot, the blonde, slightly "bigger" one, however the other one along with the Kerry daughters look EXACTLY like their father's in the face, which turns me off and just plain scares me.
