I've already accepted that the Kings aren't winning it all this year. I mean sure there is still an outside chance, and of course I will be rooting for them, but the fact is their defense is TERRIBLE. Even in 2002 when they almost won it all, their D wasn't spectacular, but they could buckle down in cruch time. Now they are soft sanz Doug Christie. Plus Webber is about 50% His offensive numbers are coming up, but his lack of mobility that lets other players go right around him now where as before he could actually test them. Bobby Jackson is day to day, but is turning into dayS and it is hurting, BAD. SA has a shot against the Lakers because they are probably the best defensive team in the Western Conference. If they can shut down the Lakers sanz Shaq/Kobe, they may just pull it off. Other then that, the road is paved for the Lakers. If somehow the Kings get through the first round quick and can rest, and then work their way through the 2nd round in order to get 100% by the Western Conference Finals, then maybe they can pull it off. I still say that Sacramento at 100% this year would definately win it all, but Sac is far from that right now, and it is the WORST time for it to be happening.

If you want to keep bringing up Clinton feel free, but I am not sure how his "weak agenda on terrorism" has much to do with Bush's handling of it. Because, as Clinton showed, a man who has "Al Qaeda as his top concern" can manage to go far without mentioning them once, apparently. -=Mike as opposed to mentioning Saddam/Iraq in Bin Laden's place?

There is a reason they used planes as weapons. How many modern day terrorist attacks involve missles? What evidence supports Al Qaeda having missles or even obtaining missles, or are you just trying to make another excuse for, "how on gawd's green earth were we supposed to know that people living out of caves might not have the ability to obtain missles and might have to resort to other tactics to attack us"

well last week during the Kings/Lakers game Peyton basically told an official to fuck off in his face, yet he didn't get whistled, yet Bibby gets T'd up for saying "Dammit" in frustration.

Ok seriously, will the officials allow anyone but the Lakers to win the NBA Title this year? You have the Laker factor plus the Malone/Peyton need a ring factor, and it just adds up. Seriously watching the Lakers/Rockets tonight; one thing is clear, there is certainly a different set of rules when it comes to arguing/yelling at officials when it comes to the NBA vs. Lakers. I have never seen so much bitching then when the Lakers get called for a foul, they are screaming and cursing, yet never get called for a tech. Phil Jackson gets up off his bench almost after every foul to moan, yet no tech!?! WTF is going on here, seriously, is there a fucking rule book or not? There must be a magic deadline of April 1st every season, if the Lakers are in contention, the magic deadline of April 1st goes into effect where the league decides that the Lakers will get all the help they need from the whistles. I am not even bothering to cover the personal player bias that the Lakers get, I will wait for some more opinions on this. oh and on a sidenote: Go away Sheryl Miller.

Kings just lost to the Mavs and look like they could lose in the 1st round no matter who they play. I watched the game, and trying to sift through the shit that was the first 3 quarters, I must say, the 4th quarter play of the Kings kind of gave me hope that they might be turning it around somewhat. Webber found his shot and was actually moving around, and the Kings played defense for the first time in a month. I'd say Houston is pretty much a MUST-WIN for the Kings, but considering they will have Brad Miller back and hopefully Bobby Jackson, they should handle the Rockets. Sunday Night. I wonder if it is a nationally televised game, because I will be in a hotel room, in Los Angeles.

Well they are democrats, which is just as pro-establishment as republicans, so no I don't find it suprising or ironic, just sad.

"I'm Rick James, bitch" For some reason EVERYONE has seen this skit, even people who normally don't watch the show. Hell, i was at some film festival event, and even punk rocker dudes were yelling out, "I'm Rick James, bitch" all throughout the night.

Well the RIAA only seems concerned with sales from the major record companies, and file-sharing is/was a major tool for independent/obscure artists, so naturally if exposure to indy/hard to find artists is choked and killed, then overall record sales will go down, and people will be back to being forced to rely on MTV/FM radio for their music. That is all the RIAA was really interested in doing anyway methinks.

I am sort of like that in the fact that I am RARELY the one to laugh out loud. Even when I find stuff funny, I just for some reason am almost never moved to laugh out loud. Exceptions would be of course be while intoxicated, and when I am shooting the shit with my best friend as we find the oddest things in movies/music/entertainment funny.

I was gonna get it the first day, but I just dropped $650 on car repairs, so I will likely hold off until I get back from my disneyland trip. So I am looking around the April 9th-12th time frame.
