  1. Just beat Uncharted last night.....the game has cost me getting proper rest for work, but I just couldn't put it down once I had a sense that the end of the game was getting closer. Awesome game, I hope Naughty Dog makes a sequel before they go back to the Jak & Dexter series. I am not sure what I should trade it in for. My first thought was Ratchet & Clank, but I think that game might be turning up in the used section pretty soon....for how much I'm not sure.

So how do I run a search for a specific mii? My wife's cousins family has a Wii and they just went online with it, and we want to import each other's miis onto our respective wiis so they will be on there when we go to each other's houses to play.....
  3. I think Gregg Williams will take over as head coach, of course the organization can't come out and say it yet because of the league rule about searching for a new head coach, but Williams was all but promised the position after 2005 when he re-signed as D-coordinator instead of pursuing Head coaching offers he was getting.
  4. I'm interested to see if Corey Hill has improved. With his body-type he could pose a real threat in his weight division if he pays the price during training.
  5. I'll be at Hooters for this one. So if any of the usual group that comes to my house wants to join me, come on down. I always sit in the back of the place so I can watch it on the HD Flat Panel...
  6. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080108/pl_af...intelligence512 Report reveals Vietnam War hoaxes, faked attacks Tue Jan 8, 9:45 AM ET WASHINGTON (AFP) - North Vietnamese made hoax calls to get the US military to bomb its own units during the Vietnam War, according to declassified information that also confirmed US officials faked an incident to escalate the war. ADVERTISEMENT The report was released by the National Security Agency, responsible for much of the United States' codebreaking and eavesdropping work, in response to a "mandatory declassification" request, the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) said Monday. From the first intercepted cable -- a 1945 message from Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh to his Russian counterpart Joseph Stalin -- to the final evacuation of US spies from Saigon, the 500-page report retold Vietnam War history from the perspective of "signals intelligence," the group said in a statement. During the war, North Vietnamese intelligence units sometimes succeeded in penetrating US communications systems, and they could monitor American message traffic from within, according to the report "Spartans in Darkness." On several occasions "the communists were able, by communicating on Allied radio nets, to call in Allied artillery or air strikes on American units," it said. "That's something I have never heard before," Steven Aftergood, director of the FAS project on government secrecy, told AFP. But he said that probably the "most historically significant feature" of the declassified report was the retelling of the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin incident. That was a reported North Vietnamese attack on American destroyers that helped lead to president Lyndon Johnson's sharp escalation of American forces in Vietnam. The author of the report "demonstrates that not only is it not true, as (then US) secretary of defense Robert McNamara told Congress, that the evidence of an attack was 'unimpeachable,' but that to the contrary, a review of the classified signals intelligence proves that 'no attack happened that night,'" FAS said in a statement. "What this study demonstrated is that the available intelligence shows that there was no attack. It's a dramatic reversal of the historical record," Aftergood said. "There were previous indications of this but this is the first time we have seen the complete study," he said. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well this doesn't bode well for what will be uncovered about the Iraq/Afganistan wars in the next 30 years, especially considering a lot of the same cronies were involved in the strategy and planning......
  7. I cooked a pack of jumbo hebrew national kosher dogs on the Foreman last night....turned out great!!!
  8. So is Gina Carano done as an MMA fighter, or is she just doing the Gladiator gig as a side thing to earn an extra chunk of cash?

Super Mario Galaxy question: I guess I will put spoiler tags just in case
  10. Yesterday I traded in Assassins Creed(Very good game, but I am the type that turns them in after I beat them to get max trade-in value) for Uncharted. Damn this game is sweet. I would imagine it would have it's own thread if more people on this forum had a PS3.(Then again maybe a brief thread about it did appear right when it came out, I can't remember though!?!) I just did the jeep mission(first and...only!?!) and when I get home from work I will be starting on the mission that starts right after you fall down the waterfall in the jeep......this game looks awesome. The graphics are amazing, lots of bright beautiful backgrounds, the gameplay is great. The gun battles are challenging, not quite as "hard" as advertised, but I guess that all depends on your style of play. If you are like me, willing to crouch and hide behind things in order to save ammo and wait for better shots(head shots) it decreases some of the difficulty, although if you try and just run out guns blazin' I am sure you are going to die a bunch of times during gun battles. Also, it really does have the "playing a movie" feel to it.
  11. Well even though it sucks to lose today, it was nice to see the Redskins even make it to the playoffs.......at 5-7 I thought their season was over, but they did what they had to do and got a playoff berth. Here is hoping to bigger things in 2008!!! *finishes off a 20oz Heineken*
  12. They play Green Bay in Green Bay next week. No matter what?
  13. Well, congrats Seahawks fans.....don't make this victory count for nothing and please beat the Cowboys next week.
  14. Well the Redskins waste a chance.....now they need to score a TD and kick the extra point to tie.....hey, at least they made this an interesting game.
  15. If Redskins don't score a TD here, Seattle is plenty capable of coming back......I mean even if they do they still can....but yeah you know what I am saying.
  16. Well I guess have to endure watching an entire season of Shawn Suishim kicking short kickoffs had to pay off..................some time...right?
  17. Nice throw by Collins....I am in disbelief right now....still PLENTY of game left though....
  18. The Redskins defense has played ok, but overall total domination by Seattle......The Redskins look like a team out-manned out there. Marus Washington is a very good LB, but when I see him continually lining up to cover a WR, I just have to put my head down and hope for the best. Redskins really miss Carlos Rogers out there, not to mention Randy Thomas & Jon Jansen.
  19. As good a job as Collins has done in Campbell's absence, it is throws like the last one he made on that third down that make you realize why he is a career backup. He has no arm strength. He knows where to throw that ball, but if has any power to his throw it gets to Caldwell on the sideline before the defender has time to turn around and get to the WR.
  20. He is playing out of the world today!!!
  21. Mack Strong doesn't play anymore... Oh my bad...whoever the fullback was....
  22. Major hold on that TD run by Mack Strong, but not like the Skins did anything to stop Seattle on that drive anyway...
  23. Sort of....I slept through the night but woke up at 7am...usually on a weekend if I do that, I would lay right back down and go back to sleep.....couldn't do that today... Gooooooo Skins!!!
  24. This movie definately seemed like it could have added approx 20 minutes to explain more about the virus or maybe more about the psyche of the vampire creatures... I did enjoy the flick, but it kind of makes me either want to read the book or at least see whatever they had planned for the original ending.

    Wii

Question: Is every downloadable game compatible with the wii-mote? I saw Mario Kart 64 listed in the shopping guide, but it only had a picture of the classic controller and the gamecube controller.....does this mean if I download it, I need to buy a classic controller?
