The game sounds fun, I am just afraid to spend $200 on the set and then end up playing it by myself after my wife gets bored of it after a day or so. To me a game like this is a waste of money unless you have a couple other people playing along side you.

It is kind of a mixed blessing to get into the playoffs this year in the NFC....the good thing is, no team is so superior as to have no chance....the bad thing is...whoever makes it to the Superbowl.....well yeah.

Well the Eagles show that Dallas's offense can be stopped if you have decent cover-corners and can consistently pressure the QB.....of course very few defenses in the NFC have those attributes.

Just some minor advice, although the closer it gets to Christmas the slighter this will help. For those still looking for a Wii, I have noticed that in my area one of the most overlooked places for video game shopping is the Game-Crazy stores. I am note sure if everyone has these stores where they live, but they are the video game stores that about five years ago Hollywood video built into their video store. It is it's own seperate store with it's own entrance, however Hollywood video owns it, that it why it is attached. It is basically the same thing as a Gamestop store. A couple of weeks ago my co-worker got a wii from there, and it was the last one, and then I called two days later and they had a new order in and I was the first to inquire. So if these stores are in your area I would suggest giving all of them in your immediate location a call....it is worth a shot.

Exactly. It is also priced about right for what the system offers. I already have a PS3, and was not looking to get the Wii as an alternative to it. I was getting the Wii because it was the type of system that when I have friends over for UFC or a Wrestling PPV, we can get buzzed, play some wii sports, or mario kart etc etc....for an hour or two before the PPV comes on. (Not to mention that there is plenty enough to keep my wife and stepdaughter entertained by it because they prefer games like Mario & Zelda and Sonic to the games I prefer) Also there is not such a hub-bub over the graphics having to be HD w/Surround sound, so it makes it an easy system to move room from room depending on what is going on out in the living room.

That and the keeping of "status quo" It is almost like she is saying, "you might not like me, but can you roll the dice on any of these other guys? At least with me you know exactly what you're getting"

I dunno how many people are familiar with FP Santangelo, but he played MLB for a little while and is now part of the local morning drive sports show here in Sacramento. The guy has been badmouthing players accused of the steroids and then this report comes out and his name is listed as one of them........talk about uncomfortable moments being on-air.....

You know when a band has a "Greatest Hits" album and a "Best of" Album........well that list is more of a "Greatest Hits" type of list.

Why? Do you hate Christians? Asking an honest question. Because, yeah, that is the stereotype, but I don't know anyone actually like that. Either they go to church somewhat regularly and acknowledge Christ at Christmas, or they don't at all, from what I generally see. No. I am indifferent to Christians, just like any other religious people/religion. I guess my point is that with this entire "War on Christmas" thing, there are a boatload of people who really seem to all of the sudden be christian when it comes to "protecting christmas" even though what they are engaging in and/or celebrating on Christmas has hardly anything to do with Jesus or Christianity. If people were just more honest with themselves and what they really believe instead of having a pack mentality, then maybe people would stop wasting time and energy on nonsense such as "The War on Christmas" "Don't you dare call my holiday where I out and break the bank trying to buy everything in the store for my child, something OTHER THAN Christmas" I sometimes almost feel that what 90% of people do on Christmas should be a entirely different holiday in itself. I am not sure how they blended, or if it was always a blended holiday between christians and secularists, if so, then so be it. Like I said, I am indifferent to it all really, but it is the "War On Christmas" rhetoric that bugs me. And for the record I am not someone who believes "Merry Christmas" should be banned. I think those folks are just as nutty as the ones ready to have an ulcer over "Happy Holidays"

Cool. The manual says actually, to not use rechargable batteries in the wii remote, but I talked to a mechanical engineering friend of mine who says that's bull. Rechargable batteries (NiMH (Nickel-Metal-Hydride)) should be fine. Yeah I asked a buddy of mine who has had the wii for awhile and has used rechargables the entire time and says he has never had a problem at all.

If that is who you are referring to then yeah, the first time I saw the episode, I felt that it really set the tone for the show's premise that anyone could die at any time regardless of their status within the walls of Oz.

I own seasons 1-5 and was waiting for the price to drop before getting season six.....$13.99? Wow. Is that online only or also the in-store price?

I didn't buy a wii-remote charger. Just a regular batter charger that you put the batteries themselves in.

The place they serve that burger at was featured on the very first episode of that TV show "Diners Drive-Ins & Dives" on the Food Network. So this little shack of a place went from having barely any wait time, to almost an hour and a half wait time on the weekends. Of course, you can always call in your orders ahead of time.

I have a feeling I'm being dragged for one of those next week or during the time I'm home. Speaking of which, will you still be in town on the 29th? I am getting UFC that night and as always you're invited....

Question: For those that have Super Mario Galaxy. Is it difficult to play with the wii-mote? Should I get a classic controller for it, is it more fun to play with the wii-mote?

So the Wii Christmas haul comes to.. Wii Console Super Mario Galaxy Wii Play w/wiimote Carnival Games(25 mini games) at the Wife's request extra 'chuck I also bought a battery charger that I guess will count as part of this..... So I am pretty set now as far as Wii-chandise goes. The Wife & stepdaughter will be very pleased.

I just like to observe during the holidays who is pretending that they actually celebrate anything other then the pagan rituals. Where they spend an obscene amount on presents, christmas decorations etc etc etc.....and then find some cheezy 30 seconds out of the day to acknowledge this jesus guy that "made it all possible"

Washington never seems to play well in NY, regardless of who they are playing(See game against the Jets earlier this season). The Giants pretty much have the #5 seed locked up, and Washington is in a fight with about five other teams for the final spot. Maybe Super-backup Todd Collins can get this team a couple of wins while Jason Campbell gets healthy!?!
