I just looked it up on yahoo maps...an 11 hour drive from Sacramento to Seattle....basically a straight shot up I-5 for 750 miles....last time this oppurtunity came up me and my wife both had high mileage cars that would have possibly crapped out.....now we have a fairly new van that is low mileage......if I can score tickets tomorrow morning I am sooooo going to the game.

I was fine with the first two rounds, but a little annoyed that by the third round, Silva was still content with being so patient. The way he was getting tagged, and the way Chuck was getting the better of the exchanges, you'd think Silva would start getting a little bit more busy by the third round. The first two rounds I enjoyed a lot though.

The trailer looks somewhat funny, but I am afraid they might be trying to tackle to much subject material for a movie that everyone is going to, to see "two guys get stoned and say funny things"

Since this isn't the NFL forums, I will try to make my comment on the game as short as possible. Is there any reason to believe that the Giants could beat the Patriots anyway? Unless the Pats rest their starters. I will probably be watching the game or playing video games until the UFC starts, but I am going to have a packed house that want to watch the fights....so UFC wins!!! *I guess I can have the game on in the bedroom so we can keep up with what is going on*

My dad told me early on. This was about late 1987. It wasn't to get me to stop watching, it was more about giving me a heads-up, and as I remember it, it was more really a "TV is fake" kind of thing. I mean it was basically a bigger discussion about how TV & Movies are entertainment and not for us to emulate or take too seriously. Pro-wrestling just happened to tie in to the overall discussion. My parents were pretty liberal when it came to what I could watch as a youngster, they gave me the "speech" mentioned above and it was pretty sufficient. My Dad actually would watch wrestling with me, and suprised me by taking me to my first wrestling show at Arco Arena when I was abou eight years old..... I remember the first time I showed my Dad, ECW. It was a Rey vs. Juvi match. He was actually really into the match because it was the first time he saw something in wrestling look like that. That was about 1995 or so. I was about to turn 16.

I would agree. I have been to plenty of people's houses where it seemed like they bought their TV simply to say they have a massive-sized TV. Like I said, at 46" my TV fills the room nicely without going overboard. It is big enough to where when I have a lot of guests over, they can be sitting behind the regular setup, with temporary chairs and still have a great view, but it isn't so over-sized that your eyeballs turn radioactive from watching it.

I have a question, it is more about connecting multi-consoles. So, when I get the wireless router, I am plugging the PS3 into it, and running the Wii wirelessly, so I know there is a process/installation to be done for a wireless connection, but for the PS3, since I am plugging an ethernet cable, is it automatic, just like it is now when I plug it into my DSL modem, or is there an installation process for wired connections too?

While I certainly don't think Dallas is going to roll over on Sunday. The fact remains that Washington is fighting for a playoff berth. I wouldn't doubt that most Dallas starters start the game, but with nothing on the line for Dallas, is their coaching staff willing to let them get into a nasty fight of a rivalry game when they have so much more to be preparing for in a couple of weeks. T.O. is already in a boot for a week or so, and while Romo's thumb doesn't seem to be that bad right now, how many hits will he be allowed to take before the coaches say, "it just aint worth it" Also, it's not like the Cowboys took them to the woodshed in Dallas. The question though is, Is Mayweather serious about this, or is he just in this for the business of creating lots of hype and interest in a one-time SPECTACLE that will draw in a huge crowd because of MMA fans wanting to see him KTFO and Boxing fans curious about how their golden-boy does.....so he would basically be put in there with someone sub-par, possibly someone willing to stand and trade jabs with him. He gets the huge pay day and is never heard from again?

The Gonzaga KO was vicious and NO ONE was expecting it....also the way Mirko wilted sideways on the way down...only to be topped off with his ankle twisted 180 degrees and spinning around the correct way after his foot comes off the mat. I'd also say Houston Alexander getting KTFO was a big one because of new expectations by himself and the fans in general for him going into the fight, and seeing him getting KTFO as viciously as he had done it to others in the past was an eye-opener. I'll go with Gonzaga though because of who it was he KTFO.

NFC East is turning out to be a beast. It doesn't at all, however it does show what happens when you go from being a "rookie sensation" into the guy that defenses are spending more then a week game-planning for, and also shows you really fast how other deficiencies in the offense will negate having a stud RB back there. I don't think anyone doubts AP's abilities, however until Jackson can win games with his arm any team with a defense worth a damn is going to game plan accordingly. With all this said, it still kind of sucks that the Redskins have to beat Dallas to get in. They have given so many games away this season when they played just about as good as they did in tonight's game(for the first two and a half quarters), but couldn't seem to learn how to finish off a team until three weeks ago. But that is what happens when you are a team that is a "threatening to make noise" The Redskins play a late game at home against Dallas, so I do believe that if by chance the Vikes & Saints lose before the Redskins' game kicks off, Washington is in regardless, but I am not absolutely sure.

Cooley got all sorts of wide open on that TD.....kudos to the O-line for giving a lot of time for that play to develop.

Ok so if I am understanding the post on that forum right, the gold-plated port on the back of my soundcard is the equivalent of a digital co-axial port on my Sony Receiver. So is there a cable/adapter available....the post seems to suggest there is.....is that what YOU do? Can you provide me a link to such a cable?

I think I googled the map after I watched the youtube video. I have heard grumblings of this before. I neither buy into it, nor put it outside the realm of possibility, I just wanted to see if others had heard of it and what they thought.
