Nice. I wonder if it is coming to other major department stores on the 28th as well. Hopefully.

Eric, if you continue to post articles by "phony soldiers" I am afraid we are going to have to ask for a perm ban.

Does knowing a simillar plot line...

Mario Bava's DEMONS kind of follows a different plot-line then most zombie flicks. -
Odd, I prefer Bud Light. IMO, Corona is the most overrated beer on the planet. Dos Equis is 100x better and usually cheaper.

As long as the Redskins beat the Cardinals next week and are 4-2 going into the following week playing the Patriots, I think Redskins/Patriots would be an interesting matchup. No, I don't expect the Redskins to win, but they do have the #1 Defense in the league, and for two weeks in a row they pretty much shut down the #1 passing offenses in the league and it does seem the Pats use the Passing game to setup the running game. The Redskins offense is way too inconsistent and too mistake-prone to stick around with the Pats, but right now I'd say the Redskins Defense has the best chance to do any type of scheming against the Pats. They have depth in their secondary, and no one has been able to run on them yet. They are also causing turnovers which is a nice turnaround suprise coming off a horrid ratio in 2006. Of course as a Skins fan, my heart will be rooting for the upset, but more importantly I am interested in the game as a measuring stick, for not only how good the Skins can play against THE ELITE team of the league, but also how for real the #1 Defense is.

Well, we now know that New England and Indy are on a seperate level then the rest of the league through Week 6. The bigger question is, where does this leave the Cowboys? They haven't played particularly tough teams to this point, and their secondary seems to get exposed more and more every week, but then again winning IS winning, and they are still 5-1. I think Dallas will remain a question mark until they play more of the good teams in the league. Personally, I don't feel any particular NFC Team is on their own level yet. You have the Good teams, the wannabees/almost-theres, and the god awful, with some teetering between one of those descriptions.

While I do enjoy Olberman's Countdown show on occassion, I really do feel he comes off as very out of place on a Football show. Sure, he has ESPN on his resume, but he doesn't come off as ESPN-Olberman, he comes off as MSNBC Countdown Olberman trying to get in jabs.
-
Well not if you are a Dallas fan.
-
the only thing I don't miss about Primetime is Berman. Other then that, yeah primetime was way better.
-
Well it also could be New England being exposed a bit to, especially their defense. Their secondary is questionable if the front seven are not pressuring the QB. A lot of "experts" said going into this game that it could be a high-scoring affair because both team's defenses are overrated. EDIT: Oops, well looks like Dallas's secondary shall be exposed more....lol.

It's only Week 6, but right now DAL/NE certainly looks like it could be a Superbowl preview. Of course, sometimes teams aren't the same after these types of games, because the rest of the league has some type of gameplanning for them.
-
Looks like the Cowboys defense may have to keep this game in contention in hoping the Cowboys Offensive Coordinator figures SOMETHING OUT by the second half.
-
In all honesty, it might be beneficial to the rest of the NFL Teams for Dallas to show SOMETHING against New England. I mean give other coordinators some type of plan of attack for everyone else.
-
Yeah it would be nice if every week "Fantasy" football had it's own thread.
-
You do mean record-wise correct? I'd say the Skins/Packers looked pretty evenly matched today.
-
Well, that is why Bret Favre is a HOFer, and Jason Campbell has had about 12 starts under his belt. It also doesn't help that by the 4th quarter the Redskins were down to almost having to put in a D-lineman as an O-lineman. Yeah I know, injuries are part of the game, however that is a hell of a lot of injuries on the O-line for that situation to need to happen. Hell, the Redskins should have been up 28-7 at the half but their WRs decided to not catch a football today. And Anyway...Skins defense gave up 10 points.(The other TD was a defensive) Three points less than their season average(10 points). They stopped the Packers on offense, when Portis turned it over inside the 10 yard line. Sean Taylor Intercepted the ball twice, and if he had better hands, probably would have four or five INTs. The Defense stopped the Packers just about every time they had to. I'd say the Redskins defense did just fine. Farve 188 pass yards, Packers 225 total yards on offense. Good win by the Packers.
-
Well yeah, when you get a team into "Have to pass to stay alive mode" it usually works out for the defense.
-
Well the Redskins play another game with the headline: A Tale of Two Halves, first half domination, a second half collapse; Missed oppurtunities equals a close loss.
-
Sean Taylor with another INT....followed by....Redskins offense with their sloppiest play of the game.....this team gives me more mood swings then marriage.
-
The bad calls haven't been one-sided. Ex- that non-call on what should have been a Franks touchdown reception. Dude, if lineman doesn't hold....Farve is sacked from behind before he even throws the ball.
-
Well Portis decides he doesn't want his team to win today....Man a lot of guys are gonna owe Jason Campbell an apology in the locker room.
-
The officials in the GB/WSH game are freaking horrible. They almost give the Packers the red zone on an obvious non-call, while the drive before the Official sits there and watches Portis get face-masked but doesn't throw the flag.
-
Redskins defense gets a little too loose as the first half comes to a close, but luckily Green Bay's kicker missed the FG....14-7 Washington at the half.

I bought a sixer of Blue Moon's pumpkin ale, and some generic brand pumpkin ale. I am gonna try one of each soon, I will give report on my findings afterwards.

Well hopefully the new 40gb PS3 will be hitting store shelves in early November (as rumored). At $400, I can pretty much go out and buy it at launch, or pretty soon afterwards depending on how many games and/or accessories I plan to get with it initially.
