Yeah, I'm really suprised too. I think when it came to the FOOD, Marcel clearly won, but something about talking with all the helper-judges, swung the judges to Ilan which was kind of bullshit because the judges should know by now that almost no one liked Marcel and would not go to bat for him when it counted.

So I just rented this flick and watched it. Liked it a lot. I just have a question about the ending.... The way I interpreted it...

Well not necessarily a brand new car, but a replacement for my current scrap heap. So yeah, you probably by now have seen my post in the General Chat forum, if not, go read it or just read this blog entry. Basically I took my car in because oil was getting into the coolant, and causing the car to overheat....long story short.....CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD. The estimate? $2400.00!!! HAHAHAHAH. For a car that probably blue books at $4-5k? Yeah fucking right. Then the guy had the nerve to give me a new engine as an option for $3700....ummmm NO. So anyways, I am looking at Car Max right now, for something 10k or under. Nothing fancy as I am not into cars other then them being a means of transportation. I can care less about how powerful it is, how fast it is, how trendy it is etc.....my only demands are 4 Doors, Air Conditioner, Low Mileage(at time of purchase) and Good Gas Mileage...in other words a 4-door Sedan is what I am probably going to get. So yeah, this wouldn't be a fucked up situation, except for that fact that Me and Jennifer have a goddamn wedding to pay for.....Of course the first half payment is not due till July, so it gives us time to save money back up for awhile, and me having a great mother and all, she is probably gonna end up buying the car for me upfront, and I can just pay her back in payments rather then dealing with a loan or car dealership to pay back to.....Did I mention my mom is the greatest?

So yeah I just found out my car has a cracked cylinder head and the estimate is $2400. No fucking way am I paying that much for a repair on a car that probably blue-books for $4-5k. And has over 100k miles on it.... So I was looking at Car Max and they have some cars within 10k that are '02 - '05 year models that have low mileage, and I am not looking for anything fancy, just a 4-door Sedan type of car with decent - good gas milage. I already have a very good sound system that I will be ripping out of my now USELESS defunct car, and every car listed on Car Max has more frills then my current car, so no complaints there. I am just looking for comments/concerns/input from anyone who has or knows someone who has used Car Max before that can tell me their experience. Lets just say I have been burned before when buying a used car from a dealership and it kind of scarred me from wanting to deal with a dealership ever again when it comes to used cars.....

My main problem is that we are seeing the same matches over and over again and they aren't building to anything. Striker vs. Punk RVD vs. Holly Test vs. Lashley These three matches have been part of the show at least every other week for the past two months, and nothing seems to get accomplished at the conclusion of the match. It's almost like a radio station holiday where they just play yesterday's play-list on auto-pilot. Rvd/Holly and Striker/Punk usually have good, entertaining matches with each other, however nothing is advancing when they have their matches. If they are going to have these same matches over and over and over again, they need to include SOME TYPE of storyline and/or reason for it. I know the roster is small, but it isn't THIS SMALL, and even so, there are plenty of disposable people on RAW/Smackdown that could use the exposure on WWECW to get themselves over.

Yeah, umm Vince McMahon showing up to do a "fan appreciation" segment is not going to help things out. If anything it will drive people right into the lap of WSX. Also, having Lashley vs. Test for the third time in 8 Days, when thus far Test has been buried and there is no reason for the fans to think he has a chance, is ALSO not another good way to retain viewers. Oh and adding to my point earlier. The biggest frustration I have with the new ECW, is the fact that Vince seems more interested in his own vision then what works with the fans. As up and down as the new ECW has been, there has been a lot about it from week to week that has been pretty good, especially a few weeks into it, we were getting damn good Main Events every week that ended CLEAN. Even during Big Show's title reign, they managed to have some good Main Events with Sabu and Ric Flair. The show was working, it seemed Heyman was doing the best with whatever small amount of wiggle room he had......I dunno how or why, but over the last month or so of WWECW it has started to completely change even moreso then the initial shock of it's re-debut. At this point, if all they did was go back to the WWECW of a few months ago, I'd be happy enough, because at least then we were getting good Main Events. I think my overall point is, as much as WWECW was NEVER GONNA BE "ECW" it was, on some levels WORKING. However, everything that made it watchable in the beginning, seems to be slowly leaving, and being replaced by absolute garbage. It is turning into a single hour of RAW, just with smaller "stars"

Anyone else find it ironic that Vince is so against "extreme rules" in WWECW, yet every other main event/spectacle match on Raw/Smackdown is a NO DQ/Streetfight/Last Man Standing etc etc....featuring blood/chairs/tables etc....It seems more about protecting his golden boys then making a better product.

Long awaited? Maybe if you're an adolescent boy without access to the Internet. Otherwise Kelly's Expose is fucking worthless. It was kind of a let down considering ECW is the Extreme show with the Vixens and Extremists I was expecting her to show some nip or camel toe or some HLA or Tommy Dreamer coming out to say he is HARDCORE! and having a triple kiss or something but all we got last week was some weak ass intermission 20 second timeout cheerleader dance. They better bring the ice cubes this week and give us some Terry Runnels extreme pointy Showgirls nipples tonight in that very ring! Or at least, do something where if they can't show it on TV, make the un-edited footage available on wwe/ecw.com

Sometimes it just seems Vince wants the ECW project to fail. Whenever they manage to do something right and make a decent show, it seems Vince is ranting about how terrible it is.

It came out in 2001, it is basically a spoof of reality tv, and there is a random lottery that picks six people that have to hunt/be hunted. If you can make it through three seasons as champ, you win your "freedom" from the network. The entire movie is filmed like a reality tv show and it is quite hilarious. This is one of those movies I was hyped to see months before it was released, but after the "meh" reaction thus far from the majority of reviewers and fans alike, I think I will wait to catch it on DVD. I want to give Joe Carnahan a chance as a director since he is local and I really liked Narc(thought it was underrated) and his first film "Blood Guts and High Octane" was a neat little indy piece, but so far I am seeing a lot of style of substance and he really gives off a post-Tarrantino film viewing vibe, but then again he is still relatively new to the game. I still think he has great potential as a director, the raw skill is there.

Once I had a dream that I was eating ribs, and a piece of meat got stuck in between my teeth, so I went to pull the meat out, and my tooth came out, then another, and another, soon I was pulling out all my teeth with ease, even my gums were coming out.....then I woke up and the first thing I did was stick my hand in my mouth to see if I still had my teeth.....the dream really did feel THAT REAL.

Adebesi in the Season 4 Finale of Oz. The series just didn't seem the same once he died, and even though Burr Redding was a good character in his own right, the Gangstas faction of Oz never seemed quite right without Adebesi leading the way. Plus, I was hoping the death would result in Kareem Said possibly getting more dynamic storylines, but it didn't really happen.

I think it was RE1, but it might have been RE2, you are walking down a hallway towards a window, with a door on the right hand side at the end of the hallway.....right when you get to the door, a figure scampers across the outside of the window, slow enough so you see something, but too fast to know what it is........so it kind of makes you sit there and wait for it to come back...it doesn't though so you go and proceed through the door on the right thinking it was just a fluke or distraction.....and when you get through the door, the LICKER debuts.....

I didn't see any serious "needs immediate medical attention" injuries, but there were lots of people dropping from exhaustion, and lots of dudes that were just way to drunk/faded to get into the pit, because they could barely stand on their own, let alone being pushed around, so as soon as they got into the pit they just got wrecked.

Was the Test burial as bad as Meltzer made it seem on his match by match coverage?

Yep, there is a reason why I consider them the true gods of metal. Just as good as when I saw them a few years ago in San Jose. They played with Unearth who weren't bad, but when you are on the same bill as Slayer, there is a certain expectation and standard you need to have, and Unearth just wasn't doing it for this crowd. Slayer opened with "God Hates Us All" and closed with "Angel of Death" while playing most of the classics along the way. The only song I really was hoping for that they didn't do was "Hell Awaits" EDIT: Oh and I forgot, we even had the "Topless Chick rocking out on her boyfriend's shoulder" incident!!!

So yeah I didn't see the Rumble, but according to Meltzer's live match coverage, it looks like Test got the burial treatment, and keep in mind this comes a week after he did a clean job to Lashley on ECW. So does this mean the writers have given up on Test?

On thursday night I was dreaming that I was at an employment office, and the lady behind the desk had her cat in the office. So we are talking and the cat jumps on my shoulder, and after awhile I wake up with a soar shoulder because my fucking cat is laying across my shoulder.....LOL.

I was thinking Eric Angle....but then I figured it might be over enough with the crowd. I mean usually when you build something, "slowly" and correctly, the payoff needs to be good, and I dunno how much of a payoff Eric Angle would be, even though he does fit the profile. Oh and the whole divide of the roster because of the "Star Group" well fuck all of them. Nash is just being Nash, and being how he was treated as one-part god in the 90's, I am sure he doesn't like being "just another guy" now, but for Angle and Jarrett, those fuckers should know how that type of bullshit splits and tears down the locker-room and makes way for political bullshit.

I think another reason they made "Deliver us from Evil" was to debunk the whole, "it's not a pedophile problem, it's a homosexual problem" nonsense as they have plenty of female victims featured as well.
