    NFL Week 16

Redskins offense finally shows some life, but then remembers that even when they were decent, they sucked in the red zone. Regardless of the outcome of this game, I don't see how THIS Eagles team beats Dallas next week, unless the Redskins just have the Eagles number so far this season. Redskins offense has been horrible the last month and they seem to be moving the ball decently against a good Philly defense. Of course, they only have 3 points to show for it. Then again, we are talking about Romo, T.O. and the rest of the sideshow coming off being demoralized at home, against a tough division foe, on the road, in bad weather, with a lot on the line, IN DECEMBER. So maybe I take the previous thought back.
  2. So the original Friday is the only one to be featured in blu-ray AND the only one to be presented UNCUT? Fuck that noise. I mean since I already own the original box set, there is not enough to re-up for me, especially considering how expensive this could end up being. I am kind of interested in the 3-D version of part 3, but if it is anything like the 3-D transfer of Freddys Dead......then you can stop all excitement now.
  3. I don't remember discussing it much at all in elementary school or even junior high. In Highschool (94-98) we had, nWo, DX, Austin, Rock, Attitude, and ECW. So yeah, it was pretty popular. I remember quite vividly that all it took was one person to mention it and then almost the entire class was involved in the conversation, whether it was casual fans, or people who were fanatics.
  4. I make a mean Clam Linguini, and sometimes if I feel adventurous I buy some mussels to put around the pasta.
  5. Wasn't that just the trailer for the Halloween that Rob Zombie already did? Wait....what are we talking about again?
  6. When I was young I always had a thing for Robot-dance chick, hahahahaha......
  7. So does the dog really die in Me & Marley or is it just people being assholes? Oh and what is up with bare-bones editions of movies being released on blu-ray instead od the current special editions? Example, Terminator 2. All I can ever find on blu-ray is the standard theatrical release, yet there is an ultimate and extreme edition out on standard def. Is this a licensing issue, like everything has to be licensed especially for blu-ray releases, or is this just another money-grubbing scheme by companies that are counting on people running out and buying anything that is on blu-ray in hopes they will go back and double dip just like they did on standard def dvds? This excludes new releases of course, new release blu rays usually get all the extras.
  8. How can people say F13th part 3 is one of the worst in the series? Shelly, The Shopkeepers, The pot smoking hippies, The Motorcycle punks, the introduction of the Hockey Mask? Come on maaaaan!!! Part 5 & 8 rank the worst to me.
  9. Two weeks away.....
  10. I'd love to see the likes of Clive Owen worked into the series somehow.
  11. Is the demo available on XBox Live and PSN or just Live?
  12. How much hard drive space is required for Home? Oh and Leaf, I added you last night.
  13. Has everyone seen the new Terminator Salvation trailer? Looks damn good. That big robot-thing at the end has a striking resemblence to Robocop 2.....lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oBwsn-AF-U...ation%20Trailer
  14. I am watching it right now and the one thing that does stick out to me is Batman's grunt voice. I know much was said of it during it's theatrical run, and honestly I don't remembering noticing/being that bothered by it watching the movie for the first time, but watching the movie now after kind of knowing to listen for it makes it really stick out and seem overbearingly annoying.
  15. Right, but Zombie didn't "explore" Michael Myer's origin, he just kind of changed it and made it up how he see fit, which I guess yes, you can call a re-imagining, but then I ask once again, why a Halloween remake, rather then just your own original screenplay/script about a serial killer with a fucked up childhood?
  16. I looked at the poster and then......*jizzed in my pants*
  17. The blu-ray edition is on it's way to my house. Are the special features the same as the standard 2-disc'r?
  18. BBQ Baby Back Ribs....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I like BBQing the big beef rips too, because you can basically spice em up with your rub of choice, place em on the grill and just come back in an hour or so. I've done tons of Tri-Tip and once, a 20 lb. Brisket. That was a chore, but well worth it. And when working with Chicken, my personal preference is chicken w/bone. Boneless chicken has to be watched over constantly or you run the risk of drying it out. Chicken on the bone however, glazed w/some bbq stays moist unless you totally neglect it. I need to work on improving my seafood grilling though. My wife bought me a skillet made especially for bbq grills. I've done oysters and clams, but those are simply, just place them and wait for the shells to open.
  19. If this is true, long over due. Nice one, Styles.
  20. Even though he was outshined by Ed Reed, I thought Laron Landry had a very solid game, an INT and a forced fumble. The youngster is coming up!!!
  21. Well for starters, if Rob Zombie wanted to make a movie about a sympathetic serial killer, then go-ahead make it, no one is stopping him, and hey I'd probably check it out myself. However, why does he need to use "Halloween" as the vehicle to do this? The Michael Myers character was "pure evil" and was pretty fucking great the way it was originally intended. I don't hate the remake, nor think everything about it is bad, but I do have a major problem with remakes that aren't keeping true to the source material. Again, I repeat. No one said you can't make a movie about a sympathetic serial killer, but don't call it a remake of "Halloween" and don't use "Michael Myers" as the killer.
  22. When the Ravens were pounding the ball on that last drive, I knew they were eventually going to take a nail-in-the-coffin shot against the Skins, and sure enough they did, and to my suprise the correct defense was actually called. Even though Rogers was beat pretty bad, the ball seemed to be floating enough that he had time to catch up and deflect it, but he broke one of the golden rules of the CB position which is to keep an eye on the ball. Instead of turning his head around and seeing he was on pace to get there before the ball, he just runs straight at the WR not ever looking back. I still can't be mad at Skins defense, they played well enough for a team with even a medicore offense to win.
  23. Partially blocked punt.....Wow, this could get upsetting fast. Come on Defense, make a freakin' play.
  24. Well that was a waste of a first possession. I am not so upset about the INT, I mean the QB's arm was hit, but the Ravens kind of moved the ball with ease....ugh.
