  1. Of course there would be, all of the UFC-favored fans in terms of rules would bring up that Fitch took no damage, out-wrestled and effectively controlled Diego throughout the entire fight. Basically all Diego had going for him was agression and sub attempts which some people feel wasn't enough to win.
  2. Rogan plays favorites "a bit" = MMA understatement of the decade
  3. I re-watched the fight a while back and it was closer then I remember. I think overall Fitch's damage and control/wrestling won out over Diego's agression and sub attempts but it was tough to call overall as they both kinda cancel each other out, at least in my mind.
  4. Karo has joined Greg Jackson's Submission Fighting team. Maybe he's hoping the "GSP to 185" rumors pan out.
  5. I saw no [sarcasm] tags on. My bad.
  6. Did you not read? Diego did nothing. NOTHING, I tells ya, sickness be damned. Sickness be damned? You get staph and then try and put on an MMA contest amongst a top-flight guy like Koscheck and let me know. I understand what you're saying but my point is that Diego's excuse for doing nothing is self-evident. I've yet to hear why Koscheck sucked so bad in that fight, besides the fact that he realized he could get away with it which, at least to me, isn't an excuse.
  7. Koscheck had a man who was death warmed up in front of him and didn't attempt anything. How can you say that the blame is equal?
  8. Mayo. I know it's not a food but I couldn't stand it as a kid and now I can't get enough.
  9. Yeah because it's not like Diego had any kind of, oh say, staph infection that slightly limited his performance. If we're doling out blame for that fight the majority of the reason it sucked was Koscheck, especially knowing how sick Diego was Josh still couldn't do anything to him.
  10. I'm thinking they should match Amir up against Riddle in his next fight. Both are young with almost no fights between the two but have shown a good upside so a loss wouldn't hurt either too badly.
  11. I think The Col. Bob Sheridan of BoDog fame trumps Mauro hands down.
  12. Same as UFC, possibly more. Ivan Salaverry retired today. I expect we'll see the names "Horn" and "Tanner" on that list before long too. The vets are getting fazed out.
  13. Ummm....yeah. No they haven't. That fight barely get mentioned nowadays.
  14. If that. And I'd be remiss to point out that within 3 seconds of getting taken down by Koscheck Diego had swept him and taken his back so the "ground" aspect of that fight, minimal as it may be is fairly even. I'm not saying Diego would beat Fitch or Koscheck in a rematch but I think he'd put up a tougher fight, especially against Koscheck.
  15. Hmmmm.......don't recall much wrestling in the Koscheck fight. Or even attempted wrestling for that matter.
  16. People are talking about how good Kendall looked against Tanner and I won't dispute that but I'd say I was most impressed by Diego last night. Hasn't lost any of his scramble-ability, agression or toughness but goddamn did his striking look a billion times better. Beautiful kick to finish it all off. I'd really enjoy seeing him against somebody like Alves or Davis next.
  17. The show last night confirmed what most of has have known all season: CB Dolloway, though talented, is a complete douchebag. Fun show, wish I'd got to see Burkman/McLovin' or Horn/Lister but everything was solid. Tanner coming out to "All Along The Watchtower" was fucking EPIC. Best entrance music in a long time.
  18. Looks like Karo vs Yoshida is close to being signed for September.
  19. Heiron should head to WEC. There's no way he can shake off the ass-beating GSP handed him. And that was in GSP's 6th or 7th fight I think.
  20. The Freestyle Tribute to ODB he did at my show was amazing. Didn't get DJ Muggs though.
