Here's a solution for the people who don't like what's on today: don't fucking listen. While I understand that you're pissed off that mainstream music is becoming shitty, guess what? Mainstream music has never been the best thing going. That's why it's mainstream. The level of appreciation, on all levels (social, musical, psychological, emotional) is much lower then any other genre. I hate 50 Cent, Britney Spears, Good Charlotte and a number of other mainstream bands but I take hope in the fact that there are artists out there like The Roots or Interpol that I can listen to and know that it's something different but something good regardless. Relax, kids. If disco didn't kill music, I don't think a little mainstream pop or rap will.

File this one under "nobody gives a shit."

Why exactly does Brock vs Goldberg have to be Title vs Title or even a title on the line? The match will have enough hype going into it that the titles really aren't nescessary. Oh, and here's a whacky fact for everybody: Rey Mysterio still has not yet secured a victory on a WWE PPV.

LOTR: The Two Towers Special Extended DVD
Lord of The Curry replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
Now THIS is what The Two Towers was missing out on in the theatres: Emotion. That was my main issue w/ this movie. The action and the look itself was infinetly better then Fellowship, but for some reason I couldn't care about this like I cared about Fellowship. Some, great, really great scenes in here though........... Massacre at the Fords of Isen- The character of Eomer was one of my favorites in the whole book and I was a little more then pissed when I realized how little of him their was in the movie. Karl Urban still turns in a great performance, acting like the type of guy who knows his role is going to be limited, but still gives it his all. The Song of The Entwives- It was pure joy for me to see this scene make it into the movie. I always felt that Treebeards storyline and character itself was never given enough credit and it makes me smile knowing that Peter Jackson does in fact listens to the fans (sometimes.) Ent Draft- Fuckin hilarious. Merry and Pippin work so well together on screen and the pipe smoking references were gold. Anybody who's read FOTR will dig the Tom Bombadil reference made by Treebeard. Theodreds Funeral- Miranda Otto has a seriously haunting voice. Very cool to see all of Edoras turn out to honour their prince. The Ring of Barahir- More Saruman = always good. Hyping up Aragorn = very good. One of The Dunedains- Miranda Otto is a fox and Viggo Mortenson is a pimp. I'm glad that more Eowyn/Aragorn interaction made it into the movie, seeing as how the movie mostly was about Aragorn/Arwen beforehand. Sons of The Steward- Best new scene in the movie. It gives us a window into why Faramir is such a dickhead to Frodo and Sam, as opposed to the quiet, more gentle Faramir we meet in the books. I'm stoked as hell to see John Noble try on the character of Denethor and Sean Bean proves once again that he is one of the best supporting guys on screen today. Fangorn comes to Helms Deep- I'm still marking out over this scene. -
*Tumbleweed rolls by* Seriously folks, give him a hand for trying...........

Oh, I'm all for Jones getting fucked over, I just can't remember the last time they actually straight up fed somebody to Benoit.
-
Well, they just killed any and all mystique that Jones had going for him by tapping him out.
-
Wait. Has Bill Murray broken out of the pack or is he getting a token nomination?
-
*Checks watch* Just about a month after No Mercy and they're already thinking about bringing Steph back. I'm surprised it took this long.

Dude, you promised me, you promised your family........... You would not, under any circumstances, go back on the eggs. You MUST honour that promise!

Me and Rudo are on quite the roll right now. I wonder which one of us is going to let the fame go to our head and spend all our money on hookers and coke? *Glares at Rudo*

I'm still waiting for Matt to modify the V1 sign into The Shocker. Then we got ourselves a badass storyline.
-
I don't think anybody w/ half a brain would ASK to be on Raw.
-
Matt Facts for this week: "Matt wonders what he did to deserve getting traded to RAW."
-
Not really, I've just started getting into their stuff. Any reccomendations?
-
It used to be, but not anymore. You could tell early on in the stages of V1 that Matt himself was writing the Matt Facts (when they were actually funny.) Now Gerwitz is probably gonna be writing them.
-
I'm bored so I brought it back. What are YOU feelin' right now? I'm lovin: The Project Hate MCMXCIX- The divine burning of angels Interpol- Obstacle 1 Machinehead- Message in a bottle Sarah Mclachlan- Fallen

Man, I'm such a fuckin bitch. Here goes....... Braveheart: No fail, guaranteed, anytime, anywhere. "Freeeedommmmmmmmmmmm!". In The Name of The Father: Gets my Irish blood going (stupid Brits). Bowling For Columbine: When Moore interviewed the teacher whose student had been killed, I lost it. Good Will Hunting: "It's not your fault."

I agree with you, but Ill do you one up on that. Goldberg will lose the title to HHH and will go to Smackdown. agreed - I smell a Loser-Leaves-Town style blow-off match with Hunter at the Rumble (if that's the next PPV where Raw brand can participate), followed by a big "coup" by the SD GM and subsequent Brock feud. Diasagreed. HHH gets screwed somehow in the Rumble and demands a title shot vs Goldberg for the night after on RAW, which is granted. Lesnar, whom having jobbed the WWE title to Benoit the night before, shows up and F5's Goldberg, who then gets pinned by HHH. RAW needs Lesnar more then SD needs Goldberg, mainly because Goldie would be surrounded by Jones, Morgan, Show and A-Train on SD and that would kill his mystique. As of right now they only really have two "monsters" on RAW (Goldie and Batista) so I guess one more won't hurt them anymore then they're already have done.
