M. Dunham 37 games 11- 17 -6 2.75 .903 Ok. Nothing too spectacular. As for Turek.....with Kiprusoff out, I don't know if I'd be pinning my hopes on Jamie McLennan. He might have had a good stretch earlier in the season but there is a reason he's been in the league 10 years and never really been the #1 guy......an .898 career save percentage to start.....

Has Dunham been that bad? I don't care enough to go look up his stats.I know he's hurt now.

Somewhere in the ESPN offices, there is much self-gratification going on in anticipation of Jagr,Messier, and Lindros all on the Rangers together. I expect ESPN to carry every Rangers game from now to the end of their season.

Downhome, Isn't Sgt Slaughter from South Carolina or was that a gimmick hometown? Seems like I remember him being billed from Paris Island,SC?

I'm kinda surprised the NHL doesn't have the "one representative per team" clause on the All Star game. I would have thought hey would have tried to cater to every city to have a reason to possibly watch.

I guess if death is entertaining, someone can move it.

Captain Kangaroo Dies at 76 Jan 23, 1:43 PM EST QUECHEE, Vermont (AP) -- Bob Keeshan, who gently entertained and educated generations of children as television's walrus-mustachioed Captain Kangaroo, died Friday at 76. Keeshan died of a long illness, his family said in a statement. Keeshan's "Captain Kangaroo" debuted on CBS television in 1955 and ran for 30 years before moving to public television for six more. The program was wildly popular among children and won six Emmy Awards, three Gabriels and three Peabody Awards. The format was simple: Each day, Captain Kangaroo, with his sugar-bowl haircut and uniform coat, would wander through his Treasure House, chatting with his good friend Mr. Green Jeans, played by Hugh "Lumpy" Brannum. He would visit with puppet animals, like Bunny Rabbit, who was scolded for eating too many carrots, and Mr. Moose, who loved to tell knock-knock jokes. But the show revolved about the grandfatherly Captain Kangaroo, whose name was inspired by the kangaroo pouch-like pockets of the coat Keeshan wore. "I was impressed with the potential positive relationship between grandparents and grandchildren, so I chose an elderly character," Keeshan said.

"I'm sick and I'm tired.....I'm sick and I'm tired.." You know, the oddest thing I remember about that interview is that ,as Paul is talking, Bobby Heenan is repeating what Orndorff is saying. Not aloud, but Bobby is mouthing along with what Orndorff is saying. The first thing I thought was ....is Heenan partially deaf and lip reading?

Quebec is not a part of Canada Uh, yes it is... Try telling someone from Quebec that. Last I heard, they wanted to separate themselves from the rest of Canada.
-
And the firing in 87......Orndorff and Heenan were being interviewed by Sean Mooney (I think) and Orndorff complained about being sick and tired of lying for Heenan and lying to the fans. Plus Orndorff was annoyed that Heenan was going around claiming Rick Rude had the best body in wrestling which,of course,Paul disagreed with. Orndorff fired Heenan and then announce Oliver Humperdink as his new manager in that segment. Not long after that, they announced the contenders for the Jesse 'The Body' Award which Rude won and Orndorff wasn't nominated.

I'm fairly sure he also wrestled under the name Steve Strong. I remember seeing him on tv up there in a match against Kendo Nagasaki sometime around 1986 or 87 I would guess. I think the match was from Montreal.

THIS is what I expect. HHH gets himself blatantly intentionally DQ'd at Wrestlemania....so blatant that Benoit gets a rematch in his hometown in some sort of stip match.Probably a no dq or if HHH gets dq'd, the title will change hands. And then ' Let the pedigrees flow'

I've read stories about how Buzz Sawyer and Ole Anderson are not well liked but I do have one question. In 1979, would Bret Hart, a virtual unknown in the States, really have been competing with Buzz Sawyer for the same spot in Georgia? It seems like Buzz was a lot bigger name at the time. Or did the Tommy Rich feud in the early 80's put Sawyer on the wrestling map?

Bah. Hacksaw Duggan vs Ted DiBiase Mid-South -tuxedo death match (circa 1984 or 85)

Badstreet, Atlanta,GA Baddest street in the whole USA Biyaches noches

The rematch after that was pretty good too. Joey Kocur destroying Jim Kyte was short but kinda scary looking.

They gotta change something in the rumble

THAT is the one that bothers me. Someone who is already eliminated shouldn't be allowed to pull someone else out...causing their elimination. I know it builds heat on someone or a feud but...have some set of rules. If they're causing a distraction...I can live with that..but not physically pulling them out. It shouldn't be total chaos. -
Maybe in the suspected GCW Lightheavyweight title tourney?

I have the Windham/Rotundo vs Fabs someplace on tape. Decent match....seemed like it went on forever.

With Spanky leaving, does this make London expendable for the suspected roster cuts?

So,this couldn't be some sort of little inside "rib" with the three of them? Is there any known problems between the Dudleys and New Jack?

So who's going to be the NWA TNA STAR of 2004?
