Let's face it, you're never gonna get a great (or even good) list on these things. First of all, doesn't VH1 intentionally include an artist or group only once or twice? Then, once you get past #30 or so, they pretty much mail it in and, like Cheech said, pretty much just pull these songs out of hat. Popularity, and to a lesser extent, importance, are the main factors which is how you end up with "In Da Club" over "Paid In Full" or something like that.

Man, Obama's making a killing on these CNN polls, most notably the economy ones. Not that polls are the be all end all, but McCain's got some uphill battle to climb.

Well, on Mike & Mike at least, they were using continuation as a reason. Basically, they were comparing the play to when a catcher has to hold onto the ball after he gets hit, an outfielder who has to hold onto the ball after taking a couple steps and hitting the wall, or even a WR in football who has to hold onto the ball all the way through after getting both feet in and falling out of bounds. Varitek didn't voluntarily drop the ball during the play so Willits should've been safe (their logic).

1. Who is the best QB in the league up to this point? Drew Brees, despite the 2 picks he threw last night. 2. What the fuck happened to San Diego's running game? I'm guessing it's more the O-line than anything. Yeah, LT's got some mileage on his body, but I think he's got enough left in the tank to do much better than what's he done up to this point. 3. Indianapolis is dead last in the league in rushing and dead last against the run. Baltimore is 4th in the league in rushing and FIRST against the run. Do the Colts need to get lucky again? Indy can win straight up at home, but their offense needs to start off faster than they have been. 4. How long does Rod Marinelli keep his job? I'd like to say that he won't keep his job another day, but the problem is that there's no one viable to replace him, even on an interim basis. I guess he'll get fired after the season. 5. Tennessee has two players with 4 INTs this year, and another with 3. By far the most in the league. Can this defense carry them into the playoffs and win there? Their D will carry them to the playoffs, but they need to find some more offense or else they might not even win one playoff game. BONUS QUESTION: How many yards is Adrian Peterson gonna put up against the Lions this Sunday? All I'll say is that his record from last year has a good shot of being crushed.

No one menitoned this, but did anyone think that Willits should've been called safe on that play? It seemed obvious to me that he was out but apparently some people are trying to make a case that because Varitek dropped the ball after he hit the ground, Willits should've been called safe.

I think this game signals the end for Roy Williams in Detroit. He may not get traded next week but I'd be pretty surprised if he's still with the Lions next season. He got his stats in the end, but he (as well as the other receivers) dropped way too many balls and his body language was horrid. The guy on WDFN just ripped Roy a new asshole on the air calling him a "pussywillow".

Damn, the Colts could easily be 0-4 right now when you think about it but they pulled it out. I still think Houston's better than their record would indicate (especially when you compare them to the other bottom-feeders in the league), but they just keep finding ways to lose.

I'm telling you, the Lions are worse than the Rams. Even the few good players they have are starting to suck now.
