[*]Kix ~ "Don't Close Your Eyes"

[*]Faster Pussycat ~ "House of Pain"

Out of all the overblown, cheesy power ballads of the eighties, these are the two cheesiest and most overblown.

Which, of course, makes them brilliant.

Of course.

I should've just changed Once Bitten Twice Shy to something like Home Sweet Home and made it the power ballad edition. Maybe Winds of Change by The Scorpions even.

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd

I Don't Like Mondays by The Boomtown Rats

Dream On by Aerosmith

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd

Highwayman by The Highwaymen

This changes constantly pretty much every day, but those are the ones that are most constantly towards the top (Highwayman is all but interchangable with Hurt by Johnny Cash)

I've never done an overall version. Wow.

Maybe that's because I can never think of five songs to put on here. But, eh, here we go. Of the moment:

George Gershwin -- "Rhapsody in Blue (Zubin Mehta conducted version)"

The Velvet Underground -- "Heroin"

Television -- "Torn Curtain"

Slint -- "Good Morning Captain"

Talking Heads -- "Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)"

I feel bad that there's no Nick Drake on there, and I think it's too soon to put any Nick Cave in there just yet, but eh, this is my list today.

The Quarashi Edition:

1.) "Mr. Jinx"

2.) "Transparent Parents"

3.) "Catch 22"

4.) "Baseline"

5.) "Delphi"

The fact that 3 of the 5 songs are from Jinx is no concidence. Jinx is my favorite Quarashi album for a reason.
