JHawk 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Except mine when I say all of you people with someone to cuddle up with at night can go straight to heck...7 I have to cuddle up with women thanks to telekenesis, ripper, so where do I fit in with that? And while I admit TSA looks nothing like I pictured (I always pictured her with light brown hair for some reason), I'd say the ugly comments are certainly untrue. Only Tony's opinion matters on that anyway, though.
TSA09 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 I do have light brown now, thanks to highlighting my hair and once I save up about $1000 more dollars I will have the lasik surgery so the glasses will be gone...so by next year.

I'm cursed. it is well documented by those that know me, and I will be writting along thread about the horrible horrible curse one day. The curse has recently taken a darker turn now where only REALLY old women want me. I'm talking 60+.

Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 The one in the white teeshirt with the glasses, holding one thumb up? Yeah, that be me. Yeah, it all started in 2000 with Fabolous. Before that no one EVER wore sports attire. Damn him and allll the other brothers like him. *finds pictures dating back to the early '90s* Here's me in '92 with a Dream Team jersey on. Oh look, it's me again in '93 with a Charles Barkley Phoenix Suns jersey on. Look at all those Starter jackets that winter, wow. Man, did I really like the Cleveland Indians that much in '89? Who are the Washington Senators and why am I wearing their jersey in fucking 1990? The trend or fad may be all the rage now, but remember that not all of us here were born post-1985. Firestarter 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 I don't see how insults about sexuality are any different than mangled Ebonics meant to indirectly comment on his race. Eh, me either. But what do I know? I'm just a gangsta/thug/pimp/hustler wannabe. And we all know people like Marney are never wrong. If Eminem et al didn't exist, you two might have a point. And I'd be a much happier little girl. Hmm. <ponders>

Just because wiggers exist doesn't mean you still aren't making stereotypical generalizations about the culture (and race) that Eminem (and people like him) 'emulates.' But people like Eminem are a good thing, not bad like you try to make it seem. The world needs more people who don't believe that adopting another's culture is like catching a fatal disease, people that don't all believe in dressing one way like mindless automatons, and that differing from that status quo somehow makes you something that you are not. I'd expect a lesbian's views to be more liberal. Hell, I'd be happier if YOU didn't exist, too but that doesn't mean that just because my lesbian comments are pointed at you that all gays, of all genders wouldn't find them offensive. But I'm done trying to get through to you. You seem so caught up in your own bitter little world, not much sense seems to filter through. You'll just pull another well-worded but equally ignorant retort out of your bag of tired tricks and I think everyone here is less and less impressed. Regardless of how well-spoken you are, you still come off as a mean, spiteful 'net moron. But such is TSM. At least you're surrounded by equals. Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 I swear, ever since Fabulous (spelling off but I forget how he spells it) made his first video, it's been done to deaaaath. That's just an idiotic comment, my friend. Even I wore sports jerseys and Starter jackets "back in the day," which translates to the early 1990's. I had a ton of NBA jerseys and every winter I had a new Starter coat, and believe me, I'm quite far from a "thug" or "masterflexpimp" or whatever stupid label you give the people who dress like that. Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Tom's met me. I'm far from some disenfranchised drug-dealing thug, despite the way I may appear. Yeah. You're definitely enfranchised. Seriously, though, I've seen people look a lot more "thuggish" than you. I rag on you for the retro gear here and there, but I thought that Celtics garb was *boss*. ANd I've worn team apparel quite often, usually in the form of NFL jackets, with the occasional jersey. I'm not a basketball fan, so I can't justify buying NBA gear, retro or not, no matter how cool it might look.
EricMM 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 And, BC, it's blown up since 2000. Am I wrong? There are many many many people whoe exclusively wear jerseys. I don't care if you were wrapped in one as a child, and are just keeping it real, it's still popular. Shit, I was just commenting. Maybe the Fabulous comment missed the mark, maybe you've been doing it for forever. Whatever, it's still a stereotypical urban look...

More people who believe it's laudable to advocate rape, child abuse, and murder... ah yes, the beautiful dream that is CJ's and Marshall Mather's alone. Truly, you visionaries will build a finer world. I'd expect a lesbian's views to be more liberal. I'm glad I disappointed you. just because my lesbian comments are pointed at you that all gays, of all genders wouldn't find them offensive. I really don't understand what you're trying to say here. Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Let it be said, TSA has great hair. Not fair. Just the good lord trying to make up for everything below it. As for the whole jersey fad, like anything else that's popular, it has its ups and downs, periods where it's not as popular and periods where it's the most popular thing out there. In the early to mid 90's, NBA jerseys were the rage among the younger (anywhere from 10-25-year-olds) demographics and now it's all about the throwback. Yes, the jersey/cap thing is a very popular fashion statement at the moment, but it's not like it hasn't been before.

Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted September 7, 2003 Whatever, it's still a stereotypical urban look... Well, I'm a stereotypical urbanite. 'Cept I'm just a country boy from some small one-stop-sign town in VA that no one's ever heard of or been to before. I really don't understand what you're trying to say here. well, there are a few typos there...sorry. What I was saying was, you can't justify your remarks that typically describe black culture just because a few famous white people also take part in said culture. My snide remarks about homosexuality might have only been directed at you, but I'm sure all homosexuals would find them offensive. Mangled ebonics as a joke isn't meant to demean whites, it's meant to say something about blacks. Who cares if Eminem "acts" black? He's not who you were going after. It was the race he 'emulates.' However, comments like that around here aren't perceived as insensitive or racial slurs in anyway and is perfectly acceptable and always has been, especially in the music folder. So carry on. No one here is gonna call you on it since no one here really minds. It's rather amusing that you can ask for validation from Tom in one post, and then claim he'll ban you if I ask him to in another. One: I never said Tom would ban me if you asked him to. But if I did, just because he's met me once doesn't mean that he'd take my side over yours in an 'argument.' I just said the man could vouch for my overwhelming non-thugness. Does anyone else see VA's version of Chingy in CJ pic? That's funny. I *just* got that from my realtor's son YESTERDAY. I've also gotten Allen Iverson, Nelly, Larenz Tate (usually when I'm angry) and some others I can't recall on occasion. Unfortunately, I don't think I look like any of the above. Yes, the jersey/cap thing is a very popular fashion statement at the moment, but it's not like it hasn't been before. The funniest part about this whole thing is that I'm not wearing sports apparel in the majority of the pics I posted. Nice to have you back, too, Bruiser. EricMM 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2003 I'm sorry I even mentioned it. It's BECAUSE of such prevalent fashion trends that you specifically can't judge a person based upon what they wear. They're just wearing what everyone else is. Except for the 1980's open shirted look CJ looks UTTERLY NORMAL. As do most if not all the people here. Not stunning, and not ugly.
