Don't ask me how, or why, but for some magnificent reason the BX (i live on an air force base, BX is like a mini-walmart) nearest me decided to save me 3 weeks of agonizing anticipation and went ahead and put at least 6 copies of Kill bill vol. 2 on its shelves today. Normally this type of thing should be reported to the manager, but to that i say "fuck that shit, ya piss head", cuz I have the best movie of the year almost a month before any other mortal will. I really want Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, but I'm going to wait for the super special edition that'll be coming out eventually. I hate double dipping, but then again, I hate waiting. DTS is a used copy from BBV, so I'd still be able to return it upon my first viewing of the movie. It was only $3.99, so I figured it was worth such a minimal risk. I also ordered some DVDs from Korea; a collection of early shorts by people like Rivette, Godard, Resnais etc. as well as Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia. Outrageously horrible movie, but it's a laugh riot and does contain one of the greatest lines ever: Our heroes are planning to steal a bunch of guns so they can raid Ice-T's office or something, and one of them says, ...
