Guest Eagan469 Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 PCU The commentaries are EXCELLENT. Piven bitches the entire time about the actors not being able to improvise during scenes and how it hurt the overall quality of the film, while on the second commentary the director states that he was just maintaining the studio's orders to keep it PG-13. It's a great, great DVD.

Downhome Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Scarface Money Clip On the back it says, "The World Is Yours." DH, where'd you find the RoboCop CC DVD? I remember marking out like a bitch when I finally got a copy. Heh, it's funny you ask that! Well, you know about the "free DVD" deal and everything, right? Well, I found a DVD trading web site and I searched for the Robocop Criterion DVD, one of the main DVDs that I've been wanting to get. I made a deal with the person who had the DVD, in which I'd "order" them two Criterions of their choice (I believe the two they wanted were Throne of Blood and The Blob). Anyway, I sent them those two DVDs from FreeDVDs.com and they sent me Robocop. In theory, I got it for 100% free. I've done that for a few things now, by trading stuff to people by ordering it through that site I mean. Hell, I've got hundreds of bucks worth of stuff just by doing that.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 Speaking of FreeDVDs, I've yet to ever recieve the one DVD I was able to obtain. It's been about a month now, how long's it gonna take?
Ravenbomb Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 picked up Spun unrated version and pre-ordered the Scarface gift box thing
