Other than "Hollow Man", every Sci-Fi movie Paul Verhoeven has done is awesome.

I can't figure out if I actually prefer Starship Troopers over Robocop...damn tough decision because let's face it, Starship Troopers is fucking awesome.

Starship Troopers is fucking ace, even if it does have Janeway in it.

Robocop is a film that is much better than what it really should be. It's one of my all time favourite movies and Clarance Boddicker is my all time favourite film character behind Randal Graves.

In fact, when I first joined TSM, I had Boddicker as my sig for months on end, changing the quote underneath every now and again.

"See, I've got this problem, cops don't like me, so I don't like cops!"

"Bitches leave"

"Take a look at my face Dick! He was trying to kill me!"

I might consider getting that new Robocop DVD. The main thing I remember about it as a kid is the truly sick moment near the end where one bad guy falls in a barrel of toxic waste, and then gets hit by a car and then SPLAT...he literally explodes all over the place!

Robocop was the first R-rated movie I saw in the theater. My mom wasn't happy with some friend of her's who said it'd be ok for kids.

ED209 killing that guy during the business meeting was the most shocking memoment for me.

I got a cheap DVD of Starship Troopers the other night and watched it. Still a really funny and great action movie, but I have to say Robocop is better. Troopers has a lot of clunky acting and dialogue, although I think it is intentional. Still, the Federal Network newscasts are worth the price of the DVD alone, that stuff is brilliance.

I just watched Total Recall tonight. Truth be told it's never really been one of my favorite Arnold movies. As far as Verhoeven stuff goes I definitely like Robocop and Starship Troopers better.

Robocop 2 can be summed in one line..."Wheeeere iiiiiiiisssss Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaain?" I dunno that scene in the arcade is hilarious to me

"Jesus had days like this..."

I only know that line because Front Line Assembly sampled it.

Why?

The only thing in Hollow Man that was reasonably entertaining was Kevin Bacon telling the Superman joke.

Kim Dickens' left nipple was entertaining.

The only thing wrong with Hollow Man was the invinvible Bacon near the end that didn't make sense.

The kills were nice and somewhat gory, the story was fine, the effects top notch. Its just at the end he survived way too much shit seeing as he was just a normal guy...only invisible.

Watched Robocop 2 tonight- and I have to say, it would have been a KILLERmovie,if they had only gotten a score. ecause the crap elevator music playing in the background- especially during the climatic battle- doesn't count for me.

The 20th Anniversary edition is $9 at Best Buy this week.

And I like how you go back five years and a lot of my posts read like I'm trying to write conservative papers for school.
