Best cruiser in the WWF/E?

Recommended Posts

Guest Monday Night Jericho

I think that Knoble has the potential to be the best, closely followed by Misterio and Chavo. This is of course leaving Benoit/Eddy out, as they are roided into heavies.

hmm, zack gowen maybe. hes pretty good. hes not better than rey. but its hard to say cause they dont go all out so you rarely see a big bump or something cool. just some gay complicated arm drag.

Rey Mysterio Jr. is the best cruiserweight in WWE.

Jamie Noble.

Mysterio gets more attention due to his aerial moves. Noble doesn't fly all over the place (he could, but doesn't), but he's a great worker.

And he's stuck jobbing to Rikishi.

Yet another reason to hate Vince McMahon.

Guest Thunder Rising!!!

1. Ultimo Dragon (once he debuts)

2. Chavo (solid worker)

3. Rey

4. Nunzio (only if they let him show his stuff, super mat worker, hope he gets to work with the cruiserweights soon)

5. Noble (shows shades of a young Benoit)

It is amazing to watch Zach Gown in the ring, but he isn't exactly a great worker. Still green and quite spotty. But maybe because of his limitations. Hope he blossoms into a good worker.

Rey Mysterio would be my personal choice, just ahead of Chavo and Noble. Though Ultimo may very well top the list when he officially debuts.

This is hard to say since the cruiserweights are not prominantly featured wrestling.

1)Eddie-He still is a cruiserweight so I'm going to put him here

2)Jamie Knoble -They need to push Knoble now. Benoit vs Knoble would rule the earth and than some

3)Rey Mysterio Jr.

4)Spanky-Hard to say. I really need to see more of his work in WWE. Definitely impressive before he went into the WWE.

5)Funaki

As much as I love Funaki, he's only partially above average at best.

Knoble gets it on pure workrate, however Rey gets the better push, so he comes off as the best cruiserweight.

First name I thought of when I saw this thread was Knoble.

Ultimo Dragon is going to be the best(i wet my pants thinking about an Ultimo-Rey feud)

Rey is the current best if they'd let him do some huge bumps and moves like he did in WCW.

Noble and Chavo are tied for third. They are both great workers.

Tajiri

Spanky

Nunzio

Funaki

Couldn't of said it better myself!!

Ok, is it Noble or Knoble?

it used to be "Knoble" when he was in WCW, but WWE always have to give everything their own little touch, so its spelled "NOBLE" now

heh thats because they don't let him bust out his Super J Cup Calibur material..

the same as Ultimo when he debuts, some are basically dubbing him the masked copy of Tajiri basically because he will probably be stripped of 80% of his moveset

I enjoy psychology and stuff, so Noble, M. Hardy, and Nunzio is on the top of my list. As for flyers, nobody competes with Rey Misterio, Ultimo Dragon, Funaki, and Tajiri. Then again, what does it matter? The WWE will never provide an adequate cruiserweight division the WCW has in the past. Plus, with the WWE Style and all, I look forward to watching Ultimo Dragon try to fit in.

If WWE wont ever have more than one cruiserweight match on a ppv then why not have a cruiserweight tile match in a fatal 4 way or even a 6 pack challenge match and give the guys 15-20 minutes......im sure the crowd wont have any complaints about it. And please get MAtt Hardy out of the division.

I'd say Rey is the best cruiserweight ever. Did I miss all the ***** matches that Noble had to put him above this masked spot machine?

If they gave Noble time to put on ***** matches, instead of having him job every week to Rikishi, then you would know why Noble is better then the "masked spot machine".
