Guest JHawk Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 So basically, get them if I absolutely need every PPV ever in my video/DVD collection, but if I want good shit, take a pass? That's starting to become a running theme for WWE DVD releases.
Lil' Bitch Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 LMAO, I like how they removed Goldberg's pic and replaced it with Kevin Trash's. Anyway, these DVDs are getting and getting worse extras-wise. When are those 2 titles being released? Hell, if anything, Insurrextion was 10 times better than Bad Blood, maybe more.
Guest JHawk Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 On the bright side, I had visions of Bossman-Taker Hell in a Cell being an extra.
Guest bravesfan Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Suggestions for "real" extras on the Bad Blood DVD? I mean, really, with what's available, and that would be in the context of the PPV, what would "the smarks" clamor for? How many BAD angles and promos led up to this PPV? What about the lack of classic matches that would fit into the mold of the show? Not that the extras on Bad Blood are good (because they CERTAINLY aren't), but there's not much that could be inserted on there.
Guest Choken One Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 You coulda Theoritecly (Fuck me) put on a bunch of HIAC's and sell it from that...
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 How does the WWE expect people to actually buy Bad Blood? What a fucking shitty DVD.
Guest JHawk Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Suggestions for "real" extras on the Bad Blood DVD? I mean, really, with what's available, and that would be in the context of the PPV, what would "the smarks" clamor for? How many BAD angles and promos led up to this PPV? What about the lack of classic matches that would fit into the mold of the show? You could have put HBK-Taker HIAC on the card if HBK's DVD hadn't just come out. But any HIAC that isn't already on DVD could work (probably Taker-Mankind despite that match being nothing but two sick spots). Why not include some of Jericho's "Greenberg" promos from the WCW days? What about the Michaels-Flair match from Prime Time Wrestling in 1991? The Savage-George Steele SNME match for Elizabeth's services? OK, that one sucks, but it would fit in the context of the PPV. It's still thin, but I'm more likely to buy that DVD at full price than I am the one they're putting out for it.
Guest bob_barron Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Well if you buy all of the PPVs- you get a free case!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 They could have added the Jericho vs. Goldberg stuff from WCW. T he Flair/Michaels match from long ago (I believe they had a singles, right?) plus their encounter at the 92 rumble, and a tag match w/ Hart and Savage IIRC. Steve Austin in ECW doing his Eric Bischoff impression. The first HIAC w/ Taker and HBK guest commentating. A review of the last Bad Blood ppv. Mick Foleys HIAC retirement match. - There's like 6+ stuff there in less than 5 minutes.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 God, Insurrextion looks like a below average RAW show at best.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Actually, Insurrextion looks like BAD BLOOD
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Once again, how does the WWE actually expect this DVD to sell? Please, someone answer.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Steve Austin in ECW doing his Eric Bischoff impression. they have a promo on one of the ECW dvds, with Steve cutting a promo on eric, its histerical
King Cucaracha Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Insurrextion probably sucked, because it was a typical throwaway UK PPV. Christian's sight seeing is about the most interesting thing on there, and I've already seen it.
Guest The Old Me Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 The DVD extras are terrible. The only good DVD's, IMHO, is the superstar DVD's, like HHH's "The Game", or Hulk's DVD, Foley's DVD. I want an Angle DVD, with an extra disk full of cool shit.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 As for the extras.... what about FOLEY'S comeback? Foley-HHH HIAC would have been a good one too. No Way Out didn't get a DVD release that year, only VHS.
Guest eiker_ir Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 HHH-Foley is not available on any DVD, right?
Guest jester Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 HIAC should get its own DVD. Now that would be cool, even if they botched the extras.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Well, I just saved myself about 50 bucks. I do like the idea of a HIAC DVD. Not a bad idea, jester.
Guest SeanO'HaireMark Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Well Christian is always funny no matter what and that sight seeing extra on this dvd is funny as hell but i am not going to buy the whole dvd just for one thing. I guess the only way the wwe could get any of these 2 dvd's to sell is to have trish do her sight seeing part naked and have it end at my house where i can bang her. As far as bad blood goes they need to ....... ummm, well just forgot bad blood. Bad Blood was the worst ppv in history and it would be over priced if they gave it away for free. But i'm not telling you anything, that you don't already know.
The Dames Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 You realize that you do yourself no favors when you post idiotic tripe like that, right? I may have to flex my "stupidity" rule soon... Dames
Guest SeanO'HaireMark Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Was that directed at me dames? You didn't name any names so i am just asking.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Why the hell does HHH look like an old ugly bastard in every DVD cover he's in. He looks like he's 55 and has the same retarded face
The Dames Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Yes, it was directed at you, SOHMark. Dames
Guest SeanO'HaireMark Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 Ok so jokes can get you banned? EL DANDY~! Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 He's named "The Unfuckwithable" for a reason, SOHMark. You do something stupid, and the man will ban you. Trust me...I've seen it happen many times, and most of them made me laugh, too.
